Filter by:The purpose of this clinical study is to validate the SpO2 accuracy of the Stryker Sustainability Solutions pulse oximetry sensors during motion conditions over the range of 70 -100% SaO2 as compared to arterial blood samples assessed by CO-Oximetry during conditions in which the subject is moving. The end goal is to provide supporting documentation for the SpO2 accuracy validation of the reprocessed sensors with motion indications.
In this randomized controlled trial, two different plant polar lipids are investigated with respect to their potential to affect acute and second meal glucose tolerance and appetite sensations. The effects are compared with a common non-polar commercial oil. The lipids are consumed spread on a white wheat bread. A white wheat bread without added lipids is included as a control product. The test products are consumed at breakfast, and test variables are investigated in the postprandial period after the test breakfast and also after a second meal standard lunch.
The goal of this trial is to investigate safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of BI 1584862 in healthy male subjects of Japanese ethnicity following oral administration of single rising doses.
The goal of this prospective interventional study is to examine if repeated brief hot stimuli affects glucose metabolism and substrate oxidation in young non-obese adults. Young adult participants were asked to participate in fourteen 5-min procedures involving whole body passive heating at 45°C water. The main question it aims to answer is: "Does repeated brief noxious heat stimuli is sufficient to improve glucose tolerance, insulin sensitivity, and fat oxidation in young non-obese adults?"
This study is a randomized, three period, six sequence, single dose crossover design with ABBV-CLS-7262 in healthy adult subjects.
The purpose of this trial is to study the brain response using functional MRI (fMRI) before and after varying doses of insulin given through the nose. The magnetic resonance imaging uses a very strong magnet to produce images of participant's brain. It becomes a functional MRI when the study team looks at the activity within the brain (blood flow / change in metabolism).
There are several studies examining the effects of different sensory stimuli on balance in healthy young people. Our study will especially explain how the same environment will affect postural control, when projected into VR environment. In this way, we aim to contribute to the literature and virtual reality programs used in rehabilitation.
The main objectives of this trial are to investigate safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics (PK) of BI 765845 in healthy male Japanese subjects following intravenous administration of single rising doses.
The main objectives of this trial are to investigate safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics (PK) of BI 765845 in healthy male subjects and female subjects of non-childbearing potential following intravenous administration of single rising doses.
The main objectives of this trial are to investigate pharmacokinetics (PK) of R-BI 1015550 in Japanese healthy male subjects following oral administration of two different single BI 1015550 doses.
