NCT ID: NCT03935087 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Improvement of Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction in ICD Patients Undergoing Therapy With Sacubitril/Valsartan

SAVE-ICD
Start date: August 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The study is aimed to evaluate the improvement of the left ventricular volumes and of the left ventricular ejection fraction in a population of ICD patients with heart failure and left ventricle systolic dysfunction undergoing therapy with Sacubitril/Valsartan (according to current Guidelines), during a 6-month follow-up.

NCT ID: NCT03930680 Recruiting - Healthy Clinical Trials

Prevention of Heart Failure Induced by Doxorubicin With Early Administration of Dexrazoxane

PHOENIX1
Start date: September 14, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this research study is to determine whether early administration of Dexrazoxane prevents Doxorubicin induced cardiotoxicity.

NCT ID: NCT03928158 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

LCZ696 in Advanced LV Hypertrophy and HFpEF

Start date: May 31, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Patients with advanced LVH and HFpEF will be randomly assigned in open-label fashion to receive LCZ696 titrated to 200 mg twice daily or valsartan titrated to 160 mg twice daily, and will be treated for 24 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT03919136 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Wrist Worn Blood Pressure Measurement

Start date: August 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study, the investigators are testing the accuracy of a wrist-worn measurement device by comparing its blood pressure measurement to arterial line (A-line) blood pressure monitors. The device is similar in style and fit to popular activity bands, but it is unique in that it measures blood pressure.

NCT ID: NCT03914222 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Congestive Heart Failure

Comparing PA Compliance During and After Decompensation in HFP

Start date: June 24, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Pulmonary Artery Compliance measurements will be obtained with the Respirix device in patients with congestive heart failure decompensation. Echocardiogram, weight measurements, and BNP will also be gathered as independent measures of decompensation in the clinic. Pulmonary Artery Compliance measurements will be made daily during the hospital stay. Patients can continue using the device at home for the next 3 weeks. Each patient will serve as their own control and relative changes from their baseline will be recorded for each parameter.

NCT ID: NCT03911349 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Start date: August 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this study, the investigators are testing the accuracy of a wrist-worn measurement device by comparing its blood pressure measurement to arterial line (A-line) blood pressure monitors. The device is similar in style and fit to popular activity bands, but it is unique in that it measures blood pressure.

NCT ID: NCT03902028 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Optimized Medico-pharmaceutical Collaboration in the Drug Management of Patients With Heart Failure

COMPIC
Start date: August 2, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a controlled, randomized, open-label, multicentric study evaluating the value of coordinated medico-pharmaceutical management compared to standard management in patients with heart failure. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of these optimized activities on the re-hospitalization of the patient with cardiac insufficiency for a disease-related event within three months of the initial hospitalization.

NCT ID: NCT03897842 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Congestive Heart Failure

TARGET: A Study to Evaluate the Treatment of Patients With Acute Decompensated Heart Failure (ADHF) Using an Automated Fluid Management System

Start date: March 16, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, single arm, early feasibility study designed to evaluate the safety and device performance of The RenalGuard System in the management of patients admitted with signs and symptoms of congestive heart failure who require diuresis for the treatment of volume overload.

NCT ID: NCT03895541 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Diseases in Old Age

Noninvasive Elastography Evaluation of Myocardial Stiffness in Elderly Patients With Isolated Diastolic Heart Failure: New Diagnostic Tool?

ELASTOCARDIO2
Start date: January 24, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The new approach propose in this protocol is based on ultrafast ultrasound and remote palpation of tissue by ultrasonic radiation pressure. Ultrafast ultrasound of biological tissues is based on an innovative ultrasound imaging approach that can image very fast soft tissue events at a rate of several thousands of frames per second and provide quantitative mapping of the elasticity of the tissues. This current project aims is to focus on myocardial rigidity in diastole to better assess the function of the heart failure.

NCT ID: NCT03894683 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Heart Failure With Reduced Ejection Fraction

Effect of Melatonin on Cardiovascular and Muscle Mass and Function in Patients With Heart Failure

Start date: November 30, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main aim of this study is to investigate the effect of melatonin on clinical outcome, quality of life, and cardiovascular function of the patients with heart failure, as well as its effect on their skeletal muscle mass and function.
