NCT ID: NCT05799807 Recruiting - Lisfranc Injury Clinical Trials

Weight-bearing Diagnostics in Acute Lisfranc Injury: CT vs X-ray

Start date: April 18, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A prospective, cohort study comparing weight-bearing computed tomography with weight-bearing radiography in patients with an acute Lisfranc injury.

NCT ID: NCT05796492 Recruiting - Burn Wound Clinical Trials

Ultrasound Treatment on Wound Healing Time

GE-MTEC
Start date: June 22, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, sham-controlled pilot study that will assess the safety and feasibility of splenic focused pulsed ultrasound treatment on burn wound healing time in 24 subjects (12 active ultrasound and 12 sham controls).

NCT ID: NCT05793827 Recruiting - Stroke Clinical Trials

Pilot Trial for Adults With Acquired Brain Injury

RCT
Start date: January 30, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot study will compare a yoga program to a non-yoga exercise program in adults with brain injuries. The investigators will measure possible improvements in balance and heartrate. The investigators also plan to measure changes in brain function and link balance and/or heartrate improvements to changes in brain function. Ideally, this work will create a foundation for a larger-scale study.

NCT ID: NCT05789797 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

Remaxol® in Patients With Drug-induced Liver Injuries During Cancer Chemotherapy

Start date: May 12, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Cancer has moved from the tenth place to the second one over the last 100 years, being inferior to only cardiovascular diseases in morbidity and mortality. 40 % of hepatitis cases in patients older than 40 years and 25 % of cases of fulminant hepatic failure (FHF) are caused by drug hepatic toxicity. Cases of acute drug-induced hepatitis (ADIH) make 15-20 % of patients with fulminant hepatitis in Western Europe.

NCT ID: NCT05785182 Recruiting - Trauma Clinical Trials

OCT in Open Fracture and Infected Fracture

Start date: March 27, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a pilot prospective, observational study of patients with open or infected fracture evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of OCT, a light-based imaging modality that requires no drug or contrast agent.

NCT ID: NCT05778123 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Brain Injuries, Traumatic

Multiomic Analysis of Body Fluid in Acute Traumatic Brain Injury

MOSS-FAST
Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this experimental observation study is to figure out differently expressed biomarkers in body fluid in traumatic brain injury patients. The main questions it aims to answer is: - Which RNA, protein and metabolites are differently expressed in lesion tissues? - What molecular mechanism is participated in TBI? Participants will be treated by emergency operation, and their body fluid samples will be collected in emergency room and during the operation.

NCT ID: NCT05778110 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Brain Injury Traumatic Severe

Multiomic Analysis of Traumatic Brain Injury and Hypertension Intracranial Hemorrhage Lesion Tissue

MOSS-THINK
Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this experimental observation study is to figure out differently expressed biomarkers in lesion tissues in traumatic brain injury or hypertension intracranial hemorrhage patients. The main questions it aims to answer is: - Which RNA, protein and metabolites are differently expressed in lesion tissues? - What molecular mechanism is participated in TBI or ICH? Participants will be treated by emergency operation, and their lesion tissues will be collected during the operation.

NCT ID: NCT05776862 Recruiting - Insulin Resistance Clinical Trials

Study Testing Benefits of Ursolic Acid (UA) as a Countermeasure To Myopenia and Insulin Resistance in Chronic Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)

Start date: March 27, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate if Ursolic Acid supplementation may be effective in reducing muscle loss and improving blood sugar control in the SCI community.

NCT ID: NCT05776719 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Efficacy of Virtual Warrior Renew Therapy for Veterans Who Experienced Military Sexual Trauma

Start date: May 15, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Group treatments may be helpful for Veterans who have experienced military sexual trauma (MST). By doing this study, the investigators hope to learn if two different groups: Warrior Renew and Health & Wellness are effective in reducing mental health symptoms in Veterans who have experienced MST and if either is more effective than the other. Participation in this research will last about 16 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT05772507 Recruiting - Diabetic Foot Ulcer Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Tolerance of URGO AWC_008 and URGO AWC_022 Dressings (EXPANSION)

Start date: August 22, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Evaluation of the efficacy (wound epithelialization and time to closure) and tolerance (emergence and nature of adverse event) of the new URGO AWC_008 and URGO AWC_022 dressings in local management of acute and chronic wounds at risk of local infection or with clinical signs of local infection
