The Ideal Sequence of Hybrid Coronary Revascularization With Endoscopic Coronary Revascularization

HYBRID
Start date: January 9, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Hybrid coronary revascularization (HCR), a combination of coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), has emerged as an alternative treatment for multivessel coronary artery disease patients. However, the ideal sequence (PCI or CABG) is unclear. The overall aim of this study is to investigate the best sequence within hybrid coronary revascularization using endoscopic coronary bypass grafting (i.e., first CABG then PCI versus first PCI then CABG)

NCT ID: NCT05183373 Recruiting - Coronary Disease Clinical Trials

Inflammation and Clotting Abnormalities in Aneurysmal Coronary Artery Disease

CARE-ANUERYSM
Start date: January 10, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The main objective of the CARE-ANEURYSM project is to evaluate inflammation and clotting abnormalities in patients with aneurysmal coronary artery disease in relation to patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm or coronary artery disease (acting as controls).

NCT ID: NCT05180942 Recruiting - Melanoma Clinical Trials

Statins and prOgression of Coronary atheRosclerosis in melanomA Patients Treated With chEckpoint inhibitorS

SOCRATES
Start date: November 7, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will incorporate a prospective randomised open blinded end-point trial in participants with stage 2, 3 or 4 melanoma treated with ICI to evaluate the impact of statin therapy on changes in coronary plaque burden and composition.

NCT ID: NCT05178602 Not yet recruiting - Renal Insufficiency Clinical Trials

The Effect of TaiChi on Ischemic Burden of Patients With Coronary Heart Disease Complicated With Renal Insufficiency

Start date: January 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study focuses on patients with incomplete revascularization combined with renal insufficiency. And since heart and kidney are two organs influence each other, the study take the mechanism of heart and kidney comorbidity and the risk factors of the two organs. As one of the traditional Chinese sports, Tai Chi is an aerobic exercise combineing movements with static postures, which can significantly improve the aerobic endurance of patients with coronary heart disease. In this study, a parallel, randomized controlled study method is used to quantitatively evaluate the myocardial ischemia condition by myocardial perfusion imaging indicators. This study aims to figure out whether the cardiac rehabilitation training program based on Tai Chi has a positive effect on the patients' myocardial ischemic.

NCT ID: NCT05175651 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Prospective Electronic Polygenic Risk Study - Second Phase

PEPRS2
Start date: June 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will investigate the role of polygenic risk scores (PRS) in preventive health.

NCT ID: NCT05175495 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

Influencing Factors of Coronary Heart Disease in Young People

Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The incidence of coronary heart disease in young people is not uncommon and the investigators will explore the factors contributing to this outcome

NCT ID: NCT05175274 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Colchicine Use for Primary Prevention of Coronary Artery Disease

Start date: December 6, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Colchicine has been widely used as an anti-gout medicine in the past decades. Some recent clinical trials have proved that low-dose colchicine can be used as a secondary prevention drug for coronary artery disease because of its anti-inflammatory mechanism. However, the effect on primary prevention has not been observed sufficiently. The objective of this study is to determine whether colchicine reduces the incidence of CAD in patients and its safety for long-term use.

NCT ID: NCT05174143 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Personalized Antiplatelet Therapy in CAD Patients

Start date: December 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is a prospective, no-randomized, single-center study performed on 15000 consecutive coronary artery patients from Dec. 2016 to Oct. 2021. All these patients were detected CYP2C19 genotype. The antiplatelet treatment was recorded according to the therapy actually adopted by the patients.

NCT ID: NCT05172362 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Short-Term and Long-Term Cognitive Outcomes in Adults After Cardiac Surgery

Start date: February 2, 2011
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Adults with coronary artery disease (250 patients) undergoing cardiac surgery participated in the study. The aim is to investigate short-term and long-term cognitive outcomes and the patterns of organization of functional brain systems in ischemic brain damage using high-resolution electroencephalography, domain-specific assessment of cognitive status and analysis of markers of a neurovascular unit (neuron-specific enolase, brain neurotrophic factor).

NCT ID: NCT05172323 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Pre-procedural 3DCT Versus Angiography Guided PCI for Ostial Right Coronary Artery Lesions

3DCT-RCA
Start date: January 13, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Even with second generation drug eluting stents, rates of target lesion failure (TLF) for aorto-ostial RCA lesions remain high [3yrs TLF 14.2%]. Retrospective studies show that stent underexpansion and geographical stent-ostium mismatch are the main predictors for TLF. Geographical mismatch means that the stent is implanted either too distal (thereby not fully covering the lesion) or too proximal (thereby protruding too much in the aorta and hampering future engagement with guiding catheters). The investigators hypothesize that, pre-procedural 3D CT coronarography to determine the optimal C-arm angle of the X-ray system with the most accurate visualization of the aorto-ostial angle and determination of localization of calcium, could prevent geographical mismatch.
