Start date: April 15, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

According to the 2022 ELN guidelines patients with high-risk acute myeloid leukemia were randomly divided into MA-BUCY2 conditioning group and BuCy2 conditioning group,to evaluate the efficacy and safety of two conditioning regimens in haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

NCT ID: NCT05819606 Not yet recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Positron Emission Radiomics With PSMA Radioligands on Newly Diagnosed Prostate Cancer Patients

PER2PSMA
Start date: April 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The primary aim of this large prospective study consists of exploring the correlation among Volumetric and Radiomic parameters extracted from staging PSMA PET/CT Imaging versus conventional baseline clinical biochemical data, conventional imaging and the aggressiveness of the tumor based on the post-surgical-Gleason Score (GS) in patients with intermediate/high risk prostate cancer (PCa). Secondarily, Volumetric and Radiomic features extracted from the same PET images will be compared with the amount of the Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs), with the expression of specific receptors on CTCs surface, Possible mutations encoding androgen receptors (AR) on CTCs surface, and with PSMA density on primary tumor cells provided by the Immunohistochemistry method (IHC) applied on post-surgical histological samples. According to PET images, Volumes of interest (VOI) encompassing the whole prostate with foci of PSMA uptake suspected for PCa will be drawn to extract semiquantitative and radiomic PET features. The association between PSMA PET radiomics and CTCs molecular and genomic panel at staging could potentially lead to a more personalized and more effective therapeutic chances.

NCT ID: NCT05826236 Not yet recruiting - Knee Osteoarthritis Clinical Trials

Knee Pressure Stimuli on Quadriceps Strength in Knee Osteoarthritis

Start date: April 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study aims at investigating the effects of a periarticular knee pressure stimulation on quadriceps strength and neuromuscular activity in subjects with knee ostearthritis. Twenty-five patients with end-stage knee osteoarthritis and and twenty-five age-matched healthy subjects will be enrolled. All participants will be asked to performed isometric maximal voluntary knee extension tasks with three different pressure stimuli in terms of intensity (0 mmHg, 60 mmHg, 120 mmHg) around the knee using a sphygmomanometer. Peak force and root-mean-square peak of rectus femoris, vastus medialis, and vastus lateralis will be collected.

NCT ID: NCT02213575 Not yet recruiting - Hypertension Clinical Trials

Study 3: Minocycline Decreases Microglia Activation

Start date: April 15, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is a mechanistic study that will enroll 9 subjects who are participating in NCT02133885 (which is designed to evaluate minocycline to test the hypothesis that minocycline treatment would produce antihypertensive effects in drug-resistant neurogenic hypertensive individuals) to test whether the antihypertensive effect of minocycline is associated with a decrease in activated microglia in central nervous system autonomic regions as evidenced by changes in PET and MRI imaging.

NCT ID: NCT04129515 Not yet recruiting - Metastatic Melanoma Clinical Trials

NovoTTF-200A + Pembrolizumab In Melanoma Brain Metastasis

Start date: April 15, 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research study involves studying a device as a possible treatment for metastatic melanoma in the brain. The purpose of this study is to obtain information on the safety and effectiveness of the study device, NovoTTF-200A, in melanoma participants with brain metastases when it is combined with Pembrolizumab. The name of the study device involved in this study is: -- NovoTTF-200A The name of the drug used in this study is: -- Pembrolizumab

NCT ID: NCT04279587 Not yet recruiting - Type1diabetes Clinical Trials

Camp Based Multi-component Intervention for Families of Young Children With Type 1 Diabetes

Start date: April 15, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Eighteen preschool aged children and their families will attend structured, multidisciplinary, family-centered intensive education sessions over a 3-day weekend in a residential camp setting to address the unique challenges of managing type 1 diabetes mellitus in young children.

NCT ID: NCT05256394 Not yet recruiting - Chronic Pain Clinical Trials

Patient-Centered Chronic Pain Care

IPRO
Start date: April 15, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will adapt and scale existing AHRQ-supported interoperable CDS for patient-centered chronic pain care. The objective of this project is to study the adaptation and implementation of an existing interoperable CDS tool for pain treatment shared decision making, with tailored implementation support, in primary care clinical settings. The central hypothesis is that tailored implementation support will increase CDS adoption and shared decision making.

NCT ID: NCT05511675 Not yet recruiting - Pain Clinical Trials

The Effect of Cold Application on the Hemostasis, Extremity Pain And Terumo Band Usage After Transradial Angiography

Start date: April 15, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

According to the World Health Organization data, approximately 17.9 million people die every year due to heart disease. 85% of these deaths are due to heart attack and blocked blood vessels. The Turkish Statistical Institute reports that circulatory system diseases took the first place among the causes of death with 38.4%, while ischemic heart diseases constituted 39.7% of these deaths in 2018. Transradial angiography is used for the purpose of scanning and treatment of coronary arteries both in Turkey and in other countries of the world. Aim: After transradial angiography, Terumo (TR) band is used as a common device which is provides pneumatical hemostasis. This study aims to reduce usage time of the TR band, a decrease of hematoma formation and a reduction in the level of extremities pain experienced as a result of transradial angiography, thanks to using the TR band together with cold application.
