There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The Foley catheter is one component in a catheter insertion procedure that could contribute to a catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI). Improvements in the catheter insertion procedure using the ERASE CAUTI Tray system may help to lower these infection rates.
The purpose of this study is to test the efficacy and safety of tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) on apathy in stroke patients.
The goal of this pilot study is to obtain preliminary data on the magnitude of the treatment effect of IVIG on the neuropathic pain and neuropathy severity associated with treatment induced neuropathy (TIND). The investigators hypothesize that immune globulin, administered intravenously (IVIG), will reduce the pain associated with treatment induced neuropathy and reduce the neuropathy severity. Treatment induced neuropathy in diabetes, is an iatrogenic complications of diabetes. The preliminary data will be used to power a larger treatment trial, and to aid the understanding of the mitigating factors in the treatment response.
The investigators hypothesize that subjects undergoing liver resection and who are exposed preoperatively to high illuminance blue spectrum light will exhibit reduced organ injury, specifically liver dysfunction, than subjects exposed to standard ambient white fluorescent light.
A Three-Arm Study of ME-401 in Subjects with Relapsed/Refractory CLL/SLL or FL, of ME-401 in Combination with Rituximab in Subjects with Relapsed/Refractory CLL/SLL or B-cell NHL, and of ME-401 in Combination with Zanubrutinib in Subjects with Relapsed/Refractory CLL/SLL or B-cell NHL
This RCT aims to determine if it is possible to perform acupuncture on men and women diagnosed with stable angina who have symptoms, chest pain, and/or chest discomfort. The investigators want to determine if acupuncture reduces the pain and other symptoms of angina, chest pain, and chest discomfort. The investigators also want to examine whether this study is acceptable to the participants, and by carrying out this study the investigators will be able to tell how many participants they will need in a future larger study to further test acupuncture to reduce the symptoms of angina in women.
The primary objective of this study is to observe the long-term safety of filgotinib in adults who have completed or met protocol specified efficacy discontinuation criteria in a prior filgotinib treatment study in Crohn's disease (CD).
This is a single center prospective imaging study investigating the utility of hyperpolarized C-13 pyruvate as a Biomarker of PI3K/mTOR pathway inhibition in patients with advanced solid tumor malignancies. The current protocol will serve as a companion imaging biomarker study paired with therapeutic trials of PI3K/mTOR pathway inhibitors (e.g. CUDC-907, BYL719), as well as a stand-alone protocol for patients treated with standard-of-care therapies inhibiting the PI3K/mTOR signaling pathway (eg. everolimus).
The purpose of the present study is to assess the effects of LMB763 with respect to safety, tolerability, and on markers of liver inflammation in patients with NASH
This is a prospective, randomized clinical trial for patients with recurrent type 2 diabetes post-gastric bypass surgery that will compare a 6 month course of canagliflozin monotherapy vs. placebo on clinical outcomes of type 2 diabetes.
