NCT ID: NCT02915692 Terminated - Surgery Clinical Trials

Study to Compare CAUTI Rates Following ERASE CAUTI Tray Silver vs Silver Coated Foley Catheters

Start date: October 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The Foley catheter is one component in a catheter insertion procedure that could contribute to a catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI). Improvements in the catheter insertion procedure using the ERASE CAUTI Tray system may help to lower these infection rates.

NCT ID: NCT02915484 Terminated - Stroke Clinical Trials

Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) in Chronic Post-Stroke Apathy

TDCS-PSA
Start date: June 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to test the efficacy and safety of tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) on apathy in stroke patients.

NCT ID: NCT02915263 Terminated - Diabetes Mellitus Clinical Trials

The Efficacy Of Intravenous Immunoglobulin Therapy In Treatment Induced Neuropathy Of Diabetes

Start date: September 11, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this pilot study is to obtain preliminary data on the magnitude of the treatment effect of IVIG on the neuropathic pain and neuropathy severity associated with treatment induced neuropathy (TIND). The investigators hypothesize that immune globulin, administered intravenously (IVIG), will reduce the pain associated with treatment induced neuropathy and reduce the neuropathy severity. Treatment induced neuropathy in diabetes, is an iatrogenic complications of diabetes. The preliminary data will be used to power a larger treatment trial, and to aid the understanding of the mitigating factors in the treatment response.

NCT ID: NCT02915081 Terminated - Inflammation Clinical Trials

Blue Light Therapy for Liver Surgery

Start date: January 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators hypothesize that subjects undergoing liver resection and who are exposed preoperatively to high illuminance blue spectrum light will exhibit reduced organ injury, specifically liver dysfunction, than subjects exposed to standard ambient white fluorescent light.

NCT ID: NCT02914938 Terminated - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)

A Study of ME-401 in Subjects With CLL/SLL, FL, and B-cell Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Start date: October 2016
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

A Three-Arm Study of ME-401 in Subjects with Relapsed/Refractory CLL/SLL or FL, of ME-401 in Combination with Rituximab in Subjects with Relapsed/Refractory CLL/SLL or B-cell NHL, and of ME-401 in Combination with Zanubrutinib in Subjects with Relapsed/Refractory CLL/SLL or B-cell NHL

NCT ID: NCT02914834 Terminated - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Acupuncture for Individuals With Stable Angina

AIMS-A
Start date: May 15, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This RCT aims to determine if it is possible to perform acupuncture on men and women diagnosed with stable angina who have symptoms, chest pain, and/or chest discomfort. The investigators want to determine if acupuncture reduces the pain and other symptoms of angina, chest pain, and chest discomfort. The investigators also want to examine whether this study is acceptable to the participants, and by carrying out this study the investigators will be able to tell how many participants they will need in a future larger study to further test acupuncture to reduce the symptoms of angina in women.

NCT ID: NCT02914600 Terminated - Crohn's Disease Clinical Trials

Filgotinib in Long-Term Extension Study of Adults With Crohn's Disease

DIVERSITYLTE
Start date: March 17, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to observe the long-term safety of filgotinib in adults who have completed or met protocol specified efficacy discontinuation criteria in a prior filgotinib treatment study in Crohn's disease (CD).

NCT ID: NCT02913131 Terminated - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Hyperpolarized C-13 Pyruvate as a Biomarker in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumor Malignancies

Start date: October 20, 2016
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a single center prospective imaging study investigating the utility of hyperpolarized C-13 pyruvate as a Biomarker of PI3K/mTOR pathway inhibition in patients with advanced solid tumor malignancies. The current protocol will serve as a companion imaging biomarker study paired with therapeutic trials of PI3K/mTOR pathway inhibitors (e.g. CUDC-907, BYL719), as well as a stand-alone protocol for patients treated with standard-of-care therapies inhibiting the PI3K/mTOR signaling pathway (eg. everolimus).

NCT ID: NCT02913105 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis NASH

Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics and Efficacy of LMB763 in Patients With NASH

Start date: October 24, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the present study is to assess the effects of LMB763 with respect to safety, tolerability, and on markers of liver inflammation in patients with NASH

NCT ID: NCT02912455 Terminated - Obesity Clinical Trials
