NCT ID: NCT01348971 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Coronary Artery Bypass and Nitrate Oral Supplementation

CABANOS
Start date: March 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether oral sodium nitrate administration prior to coronary artery bypass surgery can reduce perioperative levels of troponin T. In addition, plasma and urine surrogate markers of renal, hepatic and brain injury will be monitored.

NCT ID: NCT01348399 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Evaluation of Effectiveness and Safety of XIENCE PRIME Stent (IRIS-PRIME)

Start date: April 2011
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this study is to evaluate effectiveness and safety of XIENCE PRIME stent in the "real world" daily practice as compared with other drug eluting stents (DESs)

NCT ID: NCT01348373 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Evaluation of Effectiveness and Safety of the GENOUS STENT (IRIS-GENOUS STEMI)

Start date: May 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The objective of this study is to evaluate effectiveness and safety of GENOUS EPC-coated stent in patients with STEMI with other drug-eluting stents (DESs).

NCT ID: NCT01348360 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Evaluation of Effectiveness and Safety of NOBORI Stent

IRIS-NOBORI
Start date: May 2010
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this study is to evaluate effectiveness and safety of Nobori stent in the "real world" daily practice as compared with first-generation drug-eluting stents (sirolimus- or paclitaxel-eluting stents).

NCT ID: NCT01348022 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Evaluation of Outcomes of EES Implantation for Unprotected Left Main Coronary Artery Stenosis (PRE-COMBAT 2)

Start date: August 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This study is a multicenter, open label, prospective, single arm trial Single arm group; following angiography, eligible patients with unprotected LMCA stenosis >50% by visual estimation, which is equally treatable by the both treatment strategy (EES stenting or CABG), will be treated with EES

NCT ID: NCT01347710 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

A Phase 3 Multi-center Study to Assess PET Imaging of Flurpiridaz F 18 Injection in Patients With CAD.

Start date: June 2011
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of the study is to assess the diagnostic efficacy (specificity and sensitivity) of flurpiridaz F18 injection PET myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) compared to single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) MPI in the detection of significant coronary artery disease (CAD) as defined by invasive coronary angiography (ICA) or a documented history of Myocardial Infarction (MI).

NCT ID: NCT01346865 Terminated - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Drug-Eluting Stenting Followed by Cilostazol tREAtment Reduces SErious Adverse Cardiac Events (DECREASE-PCI)

Start date: May 2011
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The DECREASE-PCI trial is a prospective, randomized, placebo controlled, double-blind, phase 4 study to evaluate efficacy and safety of triple anti-platelet therapy compared with dual antiplatelet therapy in patients treated with DES for Coronary Artery Disease. The primary objective of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy of triple antiplatelet therapy versus dual (standard) antiplatelet therapy in patients treated with drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation for the treatment of coronary artery disease.

NCT ID: NCT01346605 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Registry for CARDIAC PERFUSION CT

RECRUIT
Start date: May 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This protocol describes a study whose goal is to collect de-identified Cardiac CT Perfusion (CTP) acquisition parameters and clinical findings from approximately 20 qualified medical facilities. The study uses an electronic data capture tool to collect the de-identified data to create a global multi-center registry. This registry will be used for scientific analysis and publication of pertinent medical trends such as CT utilization, radiation dose, and common cardiovascular findings.

NCT ID: NCT01343589 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

Effects of Milk Derived From Mountain-pasture Grazing Cows on Risk Markers of the Metabolic Syndrome Compared to Conventional Danish Milk

Start date: January 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To investigate the effect of milk delivered from mountain-pasture grazing cows on risk markers of the metabolic syndrome and type-2 diabetes with the effect of conventional Danish milk. The study should reveal the importance of phytanic acid content for these effects.

NCT ID: NCT01343576 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

Effect of Dairy Fat on Plasma Phytanic Acid in Human

Start date: August 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the study is to investigate if cow feeding regimes affects concentration of plasma phytanic acid and risk markers of the metabolic syndrome in human.
