NCT ID: NCT06427720 Completed - Clinical trials for Early Diagnosed Breast Cancer

LINC00511/miR-185-3p Axis and miR-301a-3p Markers for Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Start date: September 21, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Breast cancer is a leading cause of death among women globally, with significant incidence in Egypt. It is characterized by aggressive behavior and resistance to treatment, necessitating early detection methods. Research has revealed that many cancer-related mutations are in non-coding DNA, including microRNAs (miRNAs) and long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs). miRNAs like miR-185-3p and miR-301a, and LncRNAs such as LINC00511, are potential biomarkers for cancer diagnosis due to their roles in gene regulation and stability in circulation. This study aims to explore the diagnostic utility of these biomarkers in breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06427278 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Implication of Long Non-coding RNA CCDC144NL-AS1/Micro RNA-143-3p Axis Expression Level as Novel Signature in Colorectal Cancer

Start date: August 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Elucidate the role of lncRNA CCDC144NL-AS1, hsa-miR-143-3p, and HMGA2 protein as non-invasive epigenetic molecular biomarkers in liquid biopsy of CRC Egyptian patients, individually or as an interaction arm and in comparison, to the conventional protein TMs. In addition, the investigators investigated the potential role of lncRNA CCDC144NL-AS1 as a mediator for development and/or progression of the cancer phenotype as well as CRC metastasis and its relation to both hsa-miR-143-3p and HMGA2, clinically and in silico.

NCT ID: NCT06427161 Completed - Clinical trials for Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Dextrose Prolotherapy Versus LLLT in Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Start date: April 12, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study was conducted on 26 patients with obstructive sleep apnea. The patients were divided randomly and equally into two equal groups. In group I, the patients were treated with LLLT, while in group II, the patients were treated with dextrose injection. The patients were evaluated by: Medical history utilizing sleep unit medical sheet, physical examination including: anthropometric measures, epworth sleepiness scale, and Berlin questioner, and Polysomnography

NCT ID: NCT06426979 Completed - Pregnancy Tubal Clinical Trials

Sequential Letrozole and Methotrexate Therapy Role in Treatment of Tubal Ectopic Pregnancy

Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is a common condition involving the implantation of fertilized ovum outside the uterine cavity, accounting for 1-2% of all pregnancies. Tubal EP (TEP) is the most common and poses a significant risk to maternal life. Early diagnosis and medical treatment, such as methotrexate (MTX) and the Fallopian tube (FT), have been studied. However, the efficacy of single-dose methotrexate (SD-MTX) is questionable, and the efficacy of two-dose versus SD-MTX for medical management of EP is being evaluated. High estrogens/progesterone ratios can disrupt embryonic motility and lead to TEP.

NCT ID: NCT06426745 Completed - Colonic Polyp Clinical Trials

Split-dose Versus Single-dose Bowel Preparation for Colonoscopy

Start date: November 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Colonoscopy is the current standard method for evaluation of colonic disorders such as colorectal cancer, IBD, polyps, and other conditions.

NCT ID: NCT06426719 Completed - Clinical trials for Alveolar Bone Resorption

Efficiency of Using Osseodensification Protocol

Start date: May 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

the goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the new osseo-densification technique works to provide enough bone width and quality prior to implant placement in the upper jaw the main question it aims to answer is: Is the use of osseo-densification protocol better than the standard alveolar ridge widening techniques; regarding efficiency and comfort in obtaining sufficient alveolar ridge width in horizontally atrophic alveolar ridges?

NCT ID: NCT06424496 Completed - Clinical trials for Postpartum Depression

Effect of Targeted Health Education Program on Nurses' Awareness About Postpartum Depression

PPD
Start date: February 28, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To assess nurses' knowledge of PPD at Ain Shams University Maternity Hospital and measure their knowledge level after an educational program on postpartum depression.

NCT ID: NCT06423846 Completed - Clinical trials for Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

Total Intravenous Anesthesia Versus Inhalation Anesthesia on Postoperative Liver Function

Start date: January 26, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The pandemic of obesity has become a serious issue of public health worldwide as the size of the obese population has almost tripled over the last four decades and continues to riseزThe epidemic of obesity has led to a significant increase in the prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). NAFLD is currently the most common chronic liver disease, with an estimated global prevalence at 25-30%, rising up to 90% in morbidly obese patients

NCT ID: NCT06422182 Completed - Clinical trials for Erector Spinae Plane Block
