NCT ID: NCT05833139 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

A Study in Healthy Men to Test How Itraconazole Influences the Amount of BI 1810631 in the Blood

Start date: April 14, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of this trial is to investigate the effect of multiple doses of the strong CYP3A inhibitor and recommended Pglycoprotein (P-gp) inhibitor itraconazole on the pharmacokinetics of a single dose of BI 1810631 in plasma following oral administration.

NCT ID: NCT05828693 Completed - Clinical trials for Stress, Psychological

Systemic Stress Prevention Via Application SysLife© for Companies

Start date: January 29, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of systemic stress prevention via SysLife© application in a prospective, interventive, balanced, monocentric, explanatory pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT), with participants' subjective stress experience as the primary endpoint. Research Question: Which implementations are necessary, based on the experience from this pilot RCT, to ensure the quality of a subsequent confirmatory RCT? Hypothesis: We expect improvement of participants' subjective stress experience, goal achievement, systemic functioning in private and organisational social systems while using the SysLife© application.

NCT ID: NCT05827874 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

A Study on the Effect of Nipocalimab on Vaccine Responses in Healthy Participants

Start date: April 12, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of nipocalimab treatment on the antibody (a protein made in the body to response to a foreign substance) response following tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Tdap) vaccination in healthy participants at Week 4.

NCT ID: NCT05826886 Completed - Clinical trials for Health Care Utilization

The Effect of Video-based Testimonials About Psychotherapy on Treatment Expectations and a Short Online Intervention

Start date: April 4, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Research has shown that treatment expectations play a major role in the course of mental disorders and that positive expectations have a beneficial impact on treatment outcomes. Expectations can develop in different ways and an emerging body of research shows that social learning plays a significant role in this process. To date, most studies have investigated the impact of social learning on treatment expectations in the context of pain relief. Little is known about the impact of social learning in the psychotherapeutic treatment of depression. Therefore, this study investigates whether treatment expectations about depression therapy and treatment effects of a short online intervention can be modulated via social learning, i.e., showing positive treatment testimonials.

NCT ID: NCT05824611 Completed - Epilepsy Clinical Trials

Formative Validation of the MoveChecker System

Start date: February 27, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

obtain motion sequences of at least 60 epileptic seizures

NCT ID: NCT05823818 Completed - Atrial Fibrillation Clinical Trials

EUropean Real World Outcomes With Pulsed Field AblatiOn

EU-PORIA
Start date: March 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Background: Real world clinical evidence using pulsed field ablation (PFA) for atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation is still scarce. In particular, data on longer term outcome from multi-center experience is missing. Aim: To describe real-world adaption, work-flow data as well as procedural and follow-up outcomes after PFA guided AF ablation in early European users. Methods: A multi-center registry, European real-world outcomes with Pulsed Field Ablation in Patients with Symptomatic AF - EU-PORIA - was designed. All-comer data of patients with symptomatic atrial fibrillation (AF) who underwent catheter ablation using PFA will be collected from 7 European high-volume centers who were involved in the early market release of the FARAPULSE technology. Data includes patient demographics, procedural metrics on safety and efficacy as well as follow-up outcome data. Learning curve characteristics and comparison on different workflows will be assessed.

NCT ID: NCT05822882 Completed - Anesthesia Clinical Trials

Efficacy of Postoperative Epidural Anesthesia Following Abdominoplasty

EDA
Start date: December 14, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Effective postoperative pain management is essential for patient satisfaction and therefore intraoperative regional nerve blocks have become more and more popular in abdominoplasties. However, the key disadvantage of these blocks are their limited duration of action. This observational study evaluates the effects of a longer- lasting, individualized epidural analgesia using a pain pump to better classify the clinical value of this procedure.

NCT ID: NCT05820113 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Deep Learning Super Resolution Reconstruction for Fast and Motion Robust T2-weighted Prostate MRI

Start date: August 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study was therefore to investigate a new unrolled DL super resolution reconstruction of an initially low-resolution Cartesian T2 turbo spin echo sequence (T2 TSE) and compare it qualitatively and quantitatively to standard high-resolution Cartesian and non-Cartesian T2 TSE sequences in the setting of prostate mpMRI with particular interest in image sharpness, conspicuity of lesions and acquisition time. Furthermore, the investigators assessed the agreement of assigned PI-RADS scores between deep learning super resolution and standard sequences.

NCT ID: NCT05811117 Completed - Clinical trials for CAR T-Cell-Related Encephalopathy Syndrome

Multicenter Study Using IMC to Analyze the Impact of ICANS on Microglia

Start date: April 12, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Immunotherapy with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy can cause immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS). However, the molecular mechanisms leading to ICANS are not well understood. In this study, the investigators plan to examine the role of microglia as the primary parenchymal immune cells of the central nervous system (CNS) during ICANS in human samples. The samples will be analyzed using imaging-mass-cytometry-based analysis (IMC). Single-cell data will be obtained through machine learning supervised segmentation of IMC data. Single-cell marker expression in all cells and in microglia (Iba1+ cells) will be analyzed in patients with ICANS.

NCT ID: NCT05807113 Completed - Eczema-prone Skin Clinical Trials

Assessment of Skin Tolerance and Efficacy of a Cosmetic Product After 5 Days of Use on Subjects With Atopic Dermatitis

Start date: February 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy and tolerability and of a cosmetic product to one that is already available on the market (benchmark product). Efficacy is assessed by instrumental measurements of skin condition, clinical examinations, and questionnaires.
