Start date: January 15, 1972
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This study examines the effect of a five-year multifactorial lifestyle intervention in the Oslo diet and antismoking study on long-term cancer risk. Valid Biomarkers in Blood to Predict the Response to Therapy in Prostate Cancer Patients

Start date: December 15, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Participants to the study will be assigned to 5 cohorts according to the stage of disease and planned antitumor treatment at time of study entry. In all patients, 12 ml of blood sample will be collected in EDTA tube for analysis of biological biomarkers in different time points.

NCT ID: NCT03407963 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Feasibility of Prostatic Arterial Embolization in Low-risk Patients With Unilateral Prostate Cancer Under Active Surveillance: Monocentric Pilot Study

CAPEMBOL
Start date: June 26, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The authors hypothesize that, in patients with low volume tumors identified according to anatomo-pathological criteria and imaging, and under active surveillance focal, therapy by unilateral embolization of prostatic arteries will provide local control of the tumor via selective ischemia

NCT ID: NCT03406169 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Erectile Recovery After Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy

Start date: February 13, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study is a prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled drug study to evaluate the pattern of erectile function recovery after robotic assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP). We hope to illustrate that early and continuous therapy with either Sildenafil citrate or pentoxyfylline after nerve sparing RALP will promote improved erectile function.

NCT ID: NCT03400150 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

ProSpaceā„¢ Balloon System Pivotal Study BP-007

Start date: January 3, 2018
Phase: N/A

Gallium-68 PSMA-11 PET in Patients With Biochemical Recurrence

Start date: February 9, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the value of Gallium-68 labeled PSMA (68Ga-PSMA) for PET/CT imaging of prostate cancer recurrence. 68Ga-PSMA is a radioactive molecule, which binds to prostate cancer cells. Together with a PET/CT scanner, the distribution of 68Ga-PSMA can be determined in the body. To test this new drug, participants will receive an intravenous injection of Ga-68-PSMA and then have a PET/CT scan. The scan results will be made available to study participants and treating physicians.
