A Study to Evaluate Plasma Gelsolin in Healthy Volunteers

Study BTI-101 is a Phase 1, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose escalation, parallel design study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of IV rhu-pGSN or saline placebo administered as 5 doses each of 6, 12, 18, or 24 mg/kg of body weight. Each of 4 dosing cohorts will include 8 subjects randomized 3:1 rhu-pGSN:placebo (6 rhu-pGSN subjects:2 placebo subjects). Subjects will be healthy adult volunteers 18-55 years of age.

Study of Cerebral Activation by fNIRS During Gait With Different Rhythmic Auditory Stimulations in Healthy Subjects

The purpose of this study is to investigate the cerebral activation in healthy subjects in 4 conditions of gait : - Gait at preferred cadence without auditory stimulation (Gait1) - Gait with low tempo rhythmic auditory stimulation by music (RAS-Slow). The beat rate of the music was 68.5 per minute for all participants. - Gait with fast tempo synchronous rhythmic auditory stimulation by music (RAS-Fast). The beat rate of the music was set to 10% above each patient's preferred gait cadence . The preferred cadence was considered as the mean of the 6 trials during Gait 1. - Gait without auditory stimulation (Gait2) The investigators goal is to compare cerebral activation and gait parameters during the 4 different tasks using fNIRS.

A Drug-Drug Interaction Study to Estimate the Effect of PF-07081532 on the Pharmacokinetics of Dabigatran and Rosuvastatin in Overweight or Obese Adult Participants

The purpose of the study was to understand the effect of PF-07081532 on the movement of Dabigatran and Rosuvastatin into, though, and out of the body in healthy overweight or obese adult participants. This study also aims to collect data on safety and how tolerable the study medicine is. The study is seeking for participants who are: - Male or female who are 18 years of age or older. - Healthy but are overweight or obese. Participants will receive dabigatran and rosuvastatin as single doses by mouth 3 times during the study. The amount of the study medicine PF-07081532 will be adjusted over time until any interactions are seen. PF-07081532 is taken daily by mouth in 8 Study Periods while admitted into the study clinic over 53 days. Once discharged from the study clinic, participants will have a follow-up visit 7 to 10 days post last dose of study medicine. Then another follow-up via telephone contact, 28 to 35 days post last dose of study medicine.

A Study to Examine Respiratory Combination Vaccines Against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and Flu in Older Adults

Substudy A: The study aims to learn about the safety and effects of two new vaccines for RSV (RSVpreF) and influenza (modRNA qIRV) when given as a single shot compared to when given separately. RSV and influenza lead to infections, mainly in the fall and winter. These vaccines are being developed to help prevent respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and influenza (Flu) disease. This study is seeking participants who: - are 60 years or older - are healthy or have well-controlled chronic conditions - have not had a flu shot in the last 120 days - and agree to be present for all study visits, procedures, and blood draws. The participants will be divided into 2 groups. Group 1 will receive RSVpreF plus qIRV combo shot, after which participants will receive the placebo (a shot which has no medicine). Group 2 will receive shots for qIRV first and then RSVpreF 1 month apart. The investigators will examine the experiences of the participants receiving the study vaccines. This will help the investigators determine if the study vaccines are safe and produce a similar immune response. Participants will be involved in this study for 2 months. During this time, participants will have 3 visits at the study clinic. Substudy B will investigate 2 formulations of RSVpreF + qIRV of different volumes and osmolaities (concentrations). These formulations will be examined for safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity, with the goal of selecting a formulation for further study. This study is seeking participants who: - are 50 years or older - are healthy or have well-controlled chronic conditions - have not had a flu shot in the last 180 days - and agree to be present for all study visits, procedures, and blood draws. The participants will be divided into 2 groups. Group 1 will receive RSVpreF plus qIRV in a 1.0-mL formulation while Group 2 will receive RSVpreF plus qIRV in a 0.5-mL formulation. The investigators will examine the experiences of the participants receiving the study vaccines. This will help the investigators determine if the study vaccines are safe, well tolerated and produce a similar immune response. Participants will be involved in this study for 1 month. During this time, participants will have 2 visits at the study clinic.

The experimental group will consist of 14 subjects who will carry out 1 weekly session of 10 minutes and who will be evaluated just before starting the intervention, after it and at 4 weeks. The control group will be made up of 14 subjects who will be evaluated in the three periods described without the need to carry out the intervention.

Lifestyle Intervention on Metabolic Homeostasis

This is an exploratory controlled before-after study, which involves 112 participants, of whom 28 are with normal weight and 84 are overweight or obese. Twelve weeks of personalized nutritional and lifestyle weight reduction intervention will be conducted in the overweight or obese participants. The objectives of this study are to 1) characterize metabolic homeostasis under resting and exercise conditions, 2) to explore the potential impact factors on metabolic homeostasis, and 3) to investigate whether personalized nutritional and lifestyle weight reduction intervention can improve metabolic health in overweight or obese Chinese individuals and how is it comparable to healthy normal weight Chinese population.
