A Study to Compare Two Formulations of LY3819469 in Healthy Participants

The main purpose of this study is to assess two formulations of LY3819469 based on the amount that gets into the blood stream and how long it takes the body to get rid of it, when given to healthy participants. The information about any adverse effects experienced will be collected and the tolerability of LY3819469 will also be evaluated. Screening is required within 28 days prior to the enrolment. For each participant, the total duration of the clinical trial will be about 17 weeks including screening and follow-up periods.

Consumption of (poly)phenols is recognized to have beneficial effects on health. However, heterogeneous results are obtained in clinical trials due to high inter-individual variability. The objective of this pilot study is to characterize the inter-individual variability associated with the interaction of (poly)phenols from cranberry and gut microbiota. The participants (n=39) of this study are healthy adults aged between 23 and 63 years old and consumed cranberry extract rich in (poly)phenols for 4 days. Plasma, urine and feces were collected to quantify gut microbial (poly)phenols metabolites and to profile the fecal microbiota.

The Effectiveness of Dual-task Exercises in Individuals With COPD

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of dual-task performance on motor and cognitive functions and to determine the effect of dual-task exercises given together with the pulmonary rehabilitation program on cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal parameters in COPD. The main question[s]it aims to answer are: - Is dual-task performance in individuals with COPD different from healthy individuals? - Are dual-task exercises affect cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal parameters in individuals with COPD? Patients will be randomly divided into 2 groups (Pulmonary Rehabilitation Group, Dual Task Exercises Group). 8-week exercise program will include pulmonary rehabilitation and dual-task exercise group will do their walking and cycling exercises as dual task with another cognitive exercise. Researchers also will compare (Pulmonary Rehabilitation Group, Dual Task Exercises Group) to see if there is a difference in cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal parameters. Researchers also will compare [COPD patients and Healthy Controls] to see if there is a difference in dual-task performance.
