This is a Phase 1, first-in-human (FIH), randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, combined single (Part A) multiple (Part B) ascending dose, phase 1 study to investigate the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics following subcutaneous injections of PG-102(MG12) in healthy adult participants. This study will be conducted in 2 Parts (Part A and B), with up to 5 cohorts in each part (Part A; Cohorts A1 to A5 and Part B; Cohorts B1 to B5).
Clinical simulation has gained great importance in recent times in health sciences. Since it is a pedagogical strategy that is being used more and more in health degrees and is very useful for the acquisition of both technical and non-technical skills. However, if we focus on physiotherapy, the use of clinical simulation is a very new field and therefore requires great research. The investigators still do not have the consistency or experience as in other health branches such as medicine or nursing, in which they have been using simulators for years for the learning of all their students. For all this, and for the situation of need generated in recent years, in which internships in hospitals and clinical centers were completely abolished, the need for our research is justified, which will allow the acquisition of non-technical skills among novice students. in physiotherapy, without the need for contact with real patients.

The goal of the study is to evaluate the Changes in Microbiota Markers in Healthy Subjects Before, During and After Meditation Practices in a Controlled Environment. This study provides a unique opportunity to test the hypotheses that (1) Arhatic Yoga practices will affect both oral and gut microbiome; (2) the oral and gut microbiome will shift dynamically in a short period; and (3) the overall shift resulting from the changes in the gut microbiome members will be associated with known benefits to health and well-being.
This is a phase I interventional clinical trial and the aim will be to characterize the PK and PD of two formulations of naloxone (intranasal and intravenous) in healthy subjects, which will be used to verify/validate nasal-CNS-PBPK (Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic) model predictions following intranasal dosing.
This study will explore potential links between atopic dermatitis and food allergy. This information will be useful to determine atopic dermatitis and food allergy share unique biochemical or genetic identifiers useful for diagnosing and treatments in the future. This is a mechanistic study consisting of obtaining blood and skin samples from participants at baseline. Individuals may also undergo a clinically indicated oral food challenge and have blood and skin samples collected at various times during the oral food challenge. This study will create a molecular map of the pathology of atopic dermatitis and food allergy. This information will be deployed to evaluate the hypothesis that atopic dermatitis and food allergy share unique genetic transcriptional signals in which the study team can then further analyze pathological pathways and cell types.
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the extent to which turmeric compounds in different food matrices becomes available to the body in healthy volunteers. The main question it aims to answer is: - Is the availability to the body of a turmeric dietary supplement altered when consumed in fruit nectar, oat milk, yogurt drink, or gummies in comparison to a dietary supplement capsule? Participants will ingest a turmeric dietary supplement as a capsule or in different food matrices on six testing days (separated by at least one week). The day before testing day, a standardized dinner will be provided to the participants in the evening and participants will be instructed to not consume any foods or beverages (except water) and to arrive fasted (12 hours) at the investigation site. Participants will ingest turmeric dietary supplement formulations one by one in random order in the morning of testing days. Regular blood and urine samples will be collected before and up to 24 hours after the turmeric dietary supplement ingestion. Standardized meals will be provided during the entire testing day (lunch, mid-afternoon snack, dinner).
