Filter by:This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single and multiple ascending dose Phase 1study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and food effect of HPG1860 orally administered in healthy subjects.
An open label randomized, single dose, two-way crossover bioequivalence study to determine the bioequivalence of Favipiravir from Flupirava 200 mg tablet (European Egyptian Pharmaceutical Industries, Egypt) versus Avigan 200 mg Tablets (Man. by Toyama Chemical Co., Ltd Japan) in Healthy Human Volunteers Under Fasting Condition.
Cardiopulmonary capacities of individuals are an indication of both the individual's exercise capacity and endurance. The most important indicator of cardiopulmonary capacity is maximum oxygen uptake and respiratory parameters. Auxiliary respiratory muscles exercises and core stabilization exercises have a place in increasing the maximum oxygen uptake. There are studies investigating the effects of respiratory muscle training and core stabilization training on maximum oxygen uptake in the literature. However, there is no study in the literature comparing the effects of auxiliary respiratory muscles exercises and core stabilization exercises on maximum oxygen uptake and respiratory parameters. Thanks to the findings to be obtained from our study, it is aimed to contribute to the literature with objective, evidence-based results in this field.
An open label randomized, single dose, three way three sequence two treatment partial replicate crossover study to determine the bioequivalence of Mirabegron from Bladogra 50 mg Extended Release film coated tablets (Man by Multi-Apex for pharmaceutical Industries -S.A.E for Apex pharma company, Egypt) and Myrbetriq 50 mg Extended Release tablets (Marketed by Astellas Pharma US, Inc, Product of Japan) after a single oral dose administration of each to healthy adults under fasting conditions.
Echography guided percutaneous neuromodulation is a physical therapy technique, whose main objective is the treatment of pain with direct stimulation of the peripheral nerves using a rome needle of acupuncture as an active electrode for applying currents of electrostimulation. The neurophysiological basis and the effects on the sensory and motor systems of this technique are not characterised. The present study proposes to perform the intervention on the area adjacent to the median nerve and to apply different stimulation protocols on healthy subjects to answer those questions.
This is the phase I study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and safety of DA-2811 and Forxiga® after a single oral dose in healthy volunteers. The study will also compare the pharmacokinetics and safety profiles of DA-2811 under fasting and fed states in healthy subjects.
The main purpose of this study in healthy participants is to learn more about the safety of LY3473329 and any side effects that might be associated with it. Blood tests will be performed to check how much LY3473329 gets into the bloodstream and how long the body takes to eliminate it. This is a two-part study. Participants may only enroll in one part. For each participant: - Part A will last up to about 19 weeks and may include 9 visits. - Part B will last up to about 28 weeks and may include 11 visits.
The physiological states of the skin are characterized by a certain homeostasis linked to the balance of the metabolic pathways. When these pathways are deregulated, the proteic, lipidic and metabolic is affected. It is thus possible to follow a change in the state of the skin by looking at change in the associated molecular profile. The PRISM laboratory (INSERM U1192) in Lille has developed an innovative system laser called SpiderMass composed of 4 parts: 1. A laser used for the micro-sampling of material in vivo, 2. A transport transfer line of the ablated particles, 3. A mass spectrometer that analyzes them in real time and generates the molecular profiles of the epidermis, 4. A data analysis procedure. The SpiderMass(TM) is of great interest for the study of the skin because it allows non-invasive vivo characterization, and therefore without biopsy or sample preparation. In addition, it will complement techniques already used in the research center such as FTIR spectroscopy. Indeed, in acne studies the FTIR allows to obtain only the Fatty Acid Triglycerid ratio while the SpiderMass permits to detail these lipid classes by each observed molecule on the surface of the skin and follow their evolution.
The majority of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) studies have failed to consider sex as a modulating factor. This neglect may partly account for the high inter-subject variability bemoaned by many tDCS investigators (e.g., approximately 50% of participants do not respond to tDCS) and has certainly delayed progress in the field. Therefore, research into how sex influences stimulation-related outcomes is vital to fully understand the underlying mechanisms of tDCS, which has shown great inconsistency. Because of the menstrual cycle, the hormonal levels of women fluctuate considerably more than in men. Importantly, these hormonal variations might impact the efficacy of neuromodulatory tools, like tDCS. It is suggested that estrogen, which is high in the second follicular phase, reinforces excitatory mechanisms in the motor cortex. However, because anodal tDCS enhances cortical excitation there is also a possibility of excessive excitability. For instance, anodal tDCS may lead to overexcitation and non-optimal performance when it is applied in the second follicular phase of the menstrual cycle. Currently, there is a lack of knowledge on how the phases of the menstrual cycle affect tDCS performance outcomes in healthy young women because no studies have examined if and how the phases of the menstrual cycle alter tDCS efficacy. This study is critical for determining the optimal time to administer anodal tDCS, and the ideal intensity for that administration, to achieve the most beneficial results. Furthermore, this investigation will emphasize the need for future tDCS studies to test women during the same menstrual cycle phase.
The primary objective of this study was to determine the effect of the moderate cytochrome P450 3A (CYP3A) inducer rifabutin on the pharmacokinetics (PK) of zanubrutinib in healthy males.
