It has been shown to help reduce PTSD symptoms among Veterans. This study will look at how Veterans reach to learning MRP via the Internet, either in a self-directed way or with text/phone support.

Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are widely used for the control of gastric ulcer-gastritis, erosive esophagitis (gastroesophageal reflux disease), peptic ulcer disease (duodenal ulcer), and heartburn. Despite their efficacy, their use has been implicated in possibly causing fragility fractures (osteoporosis), hypomagnesemia (magnesium deficiency) and increased risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The current trial represents the investigators ongoing effort to discern whether these complications could be averted by effervescent calcium magnesium citrate (EffCaMgCit).

The goal of this clinical trial is to test an COVID-19 vaccination information video in adults with sickle cell disease. The main questions it aims to answer are why are some adults with sickle cell disease hesitant to receive COVID-19 vaccination and whether a COVID-19 vaccination information video tailored for people with sickle cell disease will reduce vaccine hesitancy. Participants will complete a brief survey before and after watching a short video with information on vaccine safety, efficacy, and the greater impact of COVID-19 infection on people with sickle cell disease.

Feasibility of Remote Exercise Training for Hispanics/Latinos With MS

The goal of this clinical trial is to investigate the potential benefits of a specially designed exercise program for Hispanics/Latinos with multiple sclerosis (MS). The main questions it aims to answer are: - Can a 4-month remotely-delivered exercise training program improve physical function, symptom management, and quality of life in Hispanics/Latinos with MS? - How do social determinants of health, such as income, education, access to healthcare, and social support, influence the feasibility and effectiveness of the exercise intervention? Participants in this study will engage in a 4-month remotely-delivered exercise training intervention that includes flexibility, or aerobic and resistance exercise training sessions. They will work with experienced coaches who will guide and support them throughout the program. The researchers will compare the participants who receive the exercise intervention with a control group to see if the exercise program leads to significant improvements in physical function, fatigue, mood, and overall well-being for Hispanics/Latinos with MS. The study aims to empower this underserved population and provide insights for future healthcare and research initiatives.

JAK1/2 Inhibitor Ruxolitinib for Relapsed/Refractory Immune Bone Marrow Failure

Background: Immune bone marrow failure is a condition that occurs when a person s immune system attacks the cells of the bone marrow. This can lead to diseases including different types of anemias and blood cancers. Some of these diseases can be deadly. Better treatments are needed. Objective: To test a drug (ruxolitinib) in people with different types of immune bone marrow failure. Eligibility: Adults aged 18 and older with an immune bone marrow failure. Design: Participants will be screened. They will have a physical exam. They will give samples of blood and saliva. They will have a bone marrow biopsy: A large needle will be inserted into a small cut to remove a sample of the soft tissue inside the bone. Some participants may have a skin biopsy: A small piece of skin will be removed. Some may have a computed tomography (CT) scan: They will lie on a table that slides into a donut-shaped machine that uses X-rays to make pictures of the inside of the body. Ruxolitinib is a tablet taken by mouth. Participants will take the drug twice a day for up to 6 months. Participants will have blood tests every week while they are taking the drug. These tests can be done by the participant s own physician and the results sent to the researchers. Participants will have clinic visits after taking the drug for 3 months and 6 months and then after 1, 2, and 3 years. The blood tests and bone marrow biopsy will be repeated. Participants who improve while taking the drugs may go on to an extension phase of the study.

Background: Kohlmeier-Degos (K-D) is a rare disease that leads to the blockage of small blood vessels in many organs; these can include the skin, eyes, stomach, lungs, heart, and the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system, or CNS). There are no known effective treatments for K-D that affects the CNS. Objective: To test a drug (ruxolitinib) in a person with K-D affecting the CNS. Eligibility: This study is designed to treat 1 subject, a 58-year-old male with K-D affecting the CNS. Design: The participant will be screened: He will have a physical exam and blood tests. He will have skin biopsies: Small samples of skin will be removed. He will have a lumbar puncture: A needle will be inserted in his back to draw fluid from the space around the spinal cord. He will have a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan: He will lie on a table that slides into a tube to take pictures of his brain and spinal cord. He will see a doctor who specializes in nerves. Ruxolitinib is a tablet taken by mouth. The participant will take the drug twice a day for up to 26 weeks. The dosage may change over time. The participant will have up to 7 clinic visits in 28 weeks. Each visit will be 1 to 3 days. MRI scans, biopsies, lumbar punctures, and other tests will be repeated on different visits. The participant may receive follow-up phone calls between visits. He will report any adverse effects. Unscheduled visits may be needed if new symptoms develop. The last follow-up will be 4 weeks after the last dose of the study drug....

Empowered Relief for Youth

The purpose of this pilot study is to examine the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of Empowered Relief for Youth with chronic pain (ER-Y). ER-Y is a single-session pain management class for youth focused on pain science education and teaching self-regulatory skills for pain management based on the evidence-based adult ER class. Feasibility and acceptability of ER-Y will be assessed post-class. Preliminary efficacy will be assessed by administering surveys at baseline, 4-weeks, 8-weeks, and 12-weeks post class.
