NCT ID: NCT06039865 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Chronic Care Management With Wearable Devices in Patients Prescribed Positive Airway Pressure Therapy (mPAP) Trial

mPAP
Start date: October 20, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial in adults with obstructive sleep apnea prescribed positive airway pressure therapy is to test the effects of a new patient-facing consumer wearable-based program (that involves provision of a consumer wearable that measures oxygen levels during sleep plus customized weekly reports to participants). The main question is to learn whether participants' use of positive airway pressure therapy will differ between the participants who receive the new program immediately versus delayed. Participants assigned to the delayed program will receive usual care while waiting for the program to begin.

NCT ID: NCT06039826 Active, not recruiting - Overweight Clinical Trials

A Study of LY3437943 in Postmenopausal Female Participants Who Are Overweight or Obese

Start date: September 12, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to determine the effect of LY3437943 when administered subcutaneously on the levels of combined oral contraceptive (COC) ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone in the blood stream in postmenopausal female participants who are overweight or obese. The safety and tolerability of LY3437943 when administered with COC will also be evaluated. This study will last up to approximately 29 weeks for each participant.

NCT ID: NCT06039709 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Glioblastoma Multiforme

Sonodynamic Therapy in Patients With Recurrent GBM

GBM 001
Start date: January 31, 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Patients diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM) are faced with limited treatment options. This pilot study will evaluate the safety and feasibility of combining an investigational drug called 5-ALA with neuronavigation-guided low-intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) for patients who have recurrent GBM. Focused ultrasound (FUS) can be used to non-invasively destroy tumor tissue while preserving normal tissue. When FUS is combined with 5-ALA, this combinatorial approach is called sonodynamic therapy (SDT), and this investigational therapy is being tested for its ability to cause damage to GBM cells. SDT will take place prior to surgery for recurrent GBM.

NCT ID: NCT06039605 Recruiting - Expectations Clinical Trials

Priming Expectations and Motor Learning With tDCS

Start date: October 23, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to test if priming expectations of transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) can improve the efficacy of tDCS in enhancing motor learning.

NCT ID: NCT06039579 Active, not recruiting - HIV Infections Clinical Trials

Proof of Concept Treatment Study of Orally Administered VH4004280 or VH4011499 in HIV-1 Infected Adults

CINNAMON
Start date: October 25, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary purpose of the study is to evaluate the antiviral activity of orally administered VH4004280 and VH4011499 monotherapy over 10 days in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infected Treatment-Naïve (TN) participants.

NCT ID: NCT06039566 Recruiting - Hysterectomy Clinical Trials

NAC vs Placebo on Opioid Use for Hysterectomy

Start date: November 30, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will enroll females who are ages 18 and older undergoing a laparoscopic or robotic, partial or full hysterectomy. Participants will be randomized to receive IV n-acetylcysteine or placebo during the first 60 minutes of their procedure. At various time points after the procedure patients will be asked to report their pain scores, and any pain medication taken.

NCT ID: NCT06039501 Recruiting - Critical Illness Clinical Trials

The Family Perspectives Project Pilot Trial

Start date: October 13, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to conduct a pilot randomized trial of a program designed to enhance equitable communication and emotional support for families of critically ill patients in order to determine feasibility, acceptability, and participant experience with the program. The primary study procedures include: chart abstraction, questionnaires, meetings with ICU support counselors, meetings with ICU physicians and care team, audio recordings of these meetings (optional), and interviews with study participants (optional). Study participants include: 70 critically ill patients with acute respiratory failure (enrolled with the consent of their Legally Authorized Representative) and their primary surrogate decision makers as well as ICU support counselors and ICU care teams (physicians, nurses, social workers).

NCT ID: NCT06039488 Enrolling by invitation - Cancer Clinical Trials

Effectiveness of a Cancer Exercise Program

Start date: August 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators are examining the impact of an 8-week multi-modal exercise program (resistance and cardiovascular training) delivered 2 times per week on physical function adults (>18 years old) with cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06039449 Active, not recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials
