There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
When the literature is examined, there are studies examining the relationship between low back pain and anxiety depression, quality of life and LDH in patients with lumbar disc herniation. There are many studies on the clinical use of manual therapy methods in LDH. Most of these studies examine the effect of manual therapy on pain and functional level. However, there are hardly any studies examining the effect of manual therapy on quality of life and psychological factors in LDH patients. The aim of our study is to examine the effect of mobilization, which is a manual therapy application, on psychological factors (kinesiophobia, pain catastrophic thought, anxiety and depression) and quality of life in LDH patients.
Intentionality is defined as the property of being about or directed toward a subject, as inherent in conscious states, beliefs, or creations of the mind. In nursing science, intentionality has been conceptualized as a dynamic and evolutionary antecedent of transpersonal caring in the mutual healing process. Intentionality is an ongoing process of discovering the nurse's self, purpose, and mission in life. The nurse's intentionality is a dynamic concept that evolves continuously. The nurse's cultural and ethnic background, philosophical and religious beliefs, life experiences, capacity for reflection, and self-awareness influence intentionality development and expression. It is recommended that nurses be encouraged to foster self-care and seek mentors and those who will support intentional care and healing practices. Also, breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness, and self-reflection are recommended exercises for developing intentionality. Mindfulness is one way to cultivate personal knowing, awareness, and intentionality to facilitate growth and development in a transpersonal caring relationship. However, no research has been found to increase the nurse's mindful awareness or improve intentionality in the caring relationship. In this context, this research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of mindful caring education on nurses' intentionality.
Our study aims to decrease independence by increasing upper extremity strength and performance by applying blood flow restrictive training, which has entered the literature as a new method, to the upper extremity in the elderly. The application will only be applied to the upper extremity and will last for 6 weeks.
Women who undergo assisted reproduction technology (ART) treatment will be eligible for this study. The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to compare the outcomes of ART treatment between women who have 36 and 38 hours interval between the administration of ovulation trigger (ovulation trigger medication initiates oocyte maturation and makes it possible for the egg to be collected by aspiration, during a procedure called oocyte pick-up, OPU) and OPU. The main questions it aims to answer are, does prolonging the trigger-OPU interval to 38-hours improve: 1. Primarily: •Ratio of metaphase-2 oocytes to total number of follicles 2. Secondarily: - Maturation rate - Fertilization rate - Blastulation rate - Premature ovulation rate - Positive pregnancy test rate - Clinical pregnancy rate - Live birth rate compared to 36-hours interval?
The main purpose of this study is to determine safety and efficacy of orforglipron compared with insulin glargine in participants with type 2 diabetes and obesity or overweight at increased cardiovascular risk. The study will last approximately 2 years may include up to 27 visits.
It is planned to examine the relationship between quality of life in patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunction and the patient's individual, physical and psychosocial characteristics.
The research will be carried out in a randomized controlled experimental study design in order to evaluate the effect of standard patient simulation method on communication skills, satisfaction and self-confidence in learning of nursing students in communication with intensive care patients. The research will be conducted face-to-face with nursing students who are in the 2nd year of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Sinop University and meet the inclusion criteria in the fall semester of 2022-2023, after the necessary permissions are obtained for the study.
The aim of the study is to determine whether the traditional intravenous analgesia technique or the ultrasound-guided pericapsular nerve group block or the unilateral erector spina plane block technique is superior in postoperative analgesia management in the hip operation procedure that requires preoperative and postoperative severe analgesia. In this way, by preventing the health problems that may occur due to the pain of the patients after the operation; to provide benefits for the early mobilization of patients, shortening the hospital stay, reducing the cost and increasing patient satisfaction.
This study will carry out as a randomized controlled experimental study in order to examine the effect of early skin-to-skin contact on mother-infant attachment and traumatic birth perception and to provide new information to the literature. The sample of the study consist of 350 women who apply to the Training and Research Hospital in the city center of Batman between December 2021 and May 2022, and who agreed to participate as the study group (n:175) and the control group (n: 175), who had a normal delivery in the delivery room. hascreated. "Personal Questionnaire Form", "Traumatic Birth Perception Scale" and "MaternalAttachment Scale" forms were used in the analysis of the data. Data analysis was done with SPSS 24 program
The research will be carried out as a randomized controlled experimental design to evaluate the effectiveness of the breastfeeding support system to increase sucking success in premature infants receiving care in the NICU and breastfeeding self-efficacy in mothers. In the study, the experimental and control groups will be determined by randomization of premature babies hospitalized in the NICU. While the babies in the control group will be fed with the routine feeding method (bottle) of the NICU, the babies in the experimental group will be fed with the breastfeeding support system by their mother. Research data will be collected using the Premature Baby and Its Mother Information Form, Premature Baby Follow-up Form, LATCH Breastfeeding Diagnostic Scale and Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form.
