There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The effects of preoperative anxiety and preemptive analgesia on PAED in children undergoing adenotonsillectomy surgery.
The aim of this study is to determine the effects of faciliated tucking and reiki given manually during orogastric tube insertion in preterm infants treated in the NICU on stress, pain and physiological parameter (heartbeat, blood pressure, SpO2 and respiratory rate) levels.
Reaction time, movement and total movement time are said to affect athletic performance. The unit of time between giving a stimulus to the person and the beginning of the person's voluntary response to this stimulus is defined as the reaction time. Recent studies have reported that reaction time may depend on gender differences, neuromuscular and neurophysiological factors, force production, structural and neural properties of muscles, and information processing speed.
Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of early mobilization with consumption of tea, coffee, and warm water on bowel movements in patients who had laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery. Design: The study was a single-center, parallel, randomized, controlled trial. Setting: This study was carried out in the general surgery clinic of a university hospital in Türkiye. Metod: The participants were randomized into four equal groups: tea, coffee, arm water and control. At the 4th hour postoperatively, the patients in the intervention group were first mobilized after drinking 200 ml of tea, coffee or warm water within 15 minutes. The first mobilization and oral intake of the patients in the control group started at the 8th hour. Bowel movements, mobilization time, first flatulence, first stool removal and hospital stay of the patients were followed up. Data were collected with "Patient Information Form", "Glasgow Coma Scale", "Patient Mobilization Follow-up Form" and "Patient Undergone Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Surgery Follow-Up Form". Hypothesis: H0-a: Early mobilization and tea consumption have no effect on the first flatulence time in patients who have undergone laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery. H0-b: Early mobilization and coffee consumption have no effect on the first flatulence time in patients who have undergone laparoscopic cholecystectomy. H0-c: Early mobilization and consumption of warm water have no effect on the initial flatulence time in patients who have undergone laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
University life is a challenging period for many students. University students mostly leave their families and live in crowded environments such as home and home. Research shows that students have difficulty in adapting to university life and often experience emotional, academic, professional and economic problems. Peer mentoring is one of the methods of learning and developing life skills in meeting the needs of university students. The peer mentoring intervention, which is used effectively in nursing education, provides benefits to both mentor and menene; It provides the opportunity to grow and improve by improving positive interaction between peers. It can be said that peer mentoring has a significant effect on students in line with the literature information. In this study, it was planned to examine the impact of the peer mentoring program applied on the perceived stress and self -confidence in order to ensure that the first year students of the nursing students adapt to the university life and the profession and to gain the necessary skills to survive in this process.
This study was carried out as a cross-sectional-relationship searcher in order to determine the effect of evaluating the relationship between health literacy and family planning attitudes of postpartum women. The population of the study consisted of puerperant women in the Postpartum Clinic of Osmaniye State Hospital between March 2022 and June 2022. The sample of the research is; puerperant women who applied to the hospital for delivery within the research dates and gave birth in a healthy way, did not have any risk for the mother and the baby, had no communication barriers and met the research criteria. The sample number of the study was calculated using the G*Power 3.1.9.4 program. The puerperant women who met the inclusion criteria were included in the study with the method of improbable random sampling, and a total of 258 puerperant women were reached. In data collection; Socio-demographic and obstetric characteristics of puerperant women, descriptive information form including questions about current birth, Postpartum Family Planning Attitude Scale The Health Literacy Scale was used. In the study, a very strong positive correlation was found between the women's total PAPTS score and SAS total score (p=0.000). In other words; As the health literacy levels of postpartum women increase, their family planning attitude levels also increase
Purpose To investigate whether the natural progression rate of retinitis pigmentosa (RP) can be decreased with subtenon umbilical cord Wharton's jelly derived mesenchymal stemcell (WJ-MSC) application alone or combination with retinal electromagnetic stimulation (rEMS). Material and methods The study included prospective analysis of 130 eyes of 80 retinitis pigmentosa patients with a 36-month follow-up duration. Patients constitute 4 groups with similar demographic characteristics. The subtenon WJ-MSC only group consisted of 34 eyes of 32 RP patients as Group1; The rEMS only group consisted of 32 eyes of 16 RP patients as Group2; The combined management group consisted of 32 eyes of 16 RP patients who received combined WJ-MSC and rEMS as Group3; The natural course (control) group consisted of 32 eyes of 16 RP patients who did not receive any treatment were classified as Group4. Fundus autofluorescence surface area (FAF-field), horizontal and vertical ellipsoid zone width (EZW), fundus perimetry deviation index (FPDI), full field electroretinography magnitude (ERG-m) and best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) changes were compared within and between groups after 36 month follow up period.
Chronic ankle instability was first defined by Freeman as recurrent ankle sprains following an ankle sprain and the feeling of dislocation in the ankle lasting longer than six months. The recurrence of ankle sprains in athletes leads to the realization of ankle instability. Functional ankle instability gives the feeling that a re-sprain will occur at any time due to decreased static and dynamic support in the joint.Neuro-vestibular-ocular exercises is an approach that combines neuromuscular training and vestibular-ocular training techniques. At the same time, we are doing this study because of the mixed studies on the effect of fascial relaxation on the performance and proprioception of a specific group of football players.
