There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the current periodontal status on the progression rate of AD.

Data were collected using the descriptive features form, the General Self-Efficacy Scale-Pediatric Cancer Version, the State and Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children, the Pediatric Cancer Coping Scale, the General Self-Efficacy Scale for parents, the Problem-Solving Scale, and the Cope and Adaptatıon Process Scale. Brief Summary: Laughter is an innate, universal response we give to events in our lives. "Laughter Therapy" is a technique created by combining breathing techniques and laughter and takes its place in complementary medicine. It is a simulation performed by making eye contact with the members of the group, in which physical exercise and childlike games take place. Laughter sessions are about 30-40 minutes. continues and this simulation in a short time creates a real and contagious laugh. It has been determined by studies that laughter therapy physiologically increases breathing and relaxes muscles, strengthens mental function by decreasing the level of stress hormones, reduces burnout, depression and anxiety levels, positively affects quality of life, increases social interaction and provides psychological well-being. Self-efficacy, on the other hand, is a state that expresses a person's belief that he or she is able to perform a certain task. More broadly, self-efficacy examines an individual's ability to perform a task rather than individual characteristics such as physical or psychological characteristics. Psychological well-being is as important as self-efficacy in the development of students. In addition, studies on mental health have generally focused on anxiety and depression. Most of these studies were related to well-being and contributed to the literature. Psychological well-being is defined as managing existential challenges in life. Aim: This study was planned to determine the Effect of Laughter Therapy on Self-Efficacy and Psychological Well-Being in Nursing Students.
Pelvic floor disorders affect millions of women and their lives in our country and around the world. Along with many factors such as age, obesity, menopause, smoking, number of births and mode of delivery, there is an increase in the prevalence of pelvic floor disorders. Pelvic floor disorders (urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction) negatively affect women, their families, caregivers of individuals who cannot meet their own needs, and society in many ways. Treatment of pelvic floor disorders is very costly on a community basis. An effective process is carried out with the use of non-pharmacological traditional and complementary therapies instead of invasive or pharmacological treatment in the early period of the treatment of symptoms of pelvic floor disorders.
Preterm infants lack intrauterine sounds suitable for their development as they are born early. In addition, they are exposed to many unfamiliar sounds for weeks or months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) where their follow-up and care are continued. , one of evidences is that the maternal voices have an effect on the physiological, neurobehavioral and autonomic functions of the preterm infants. Also, the fact that the maternal voice is a non-pharmacological and non-invasive application has importance for the preterm infant. Therefore, considering the optimal well-being of the infant, it is predicted that using the applications that simulate the extrauterine environment of the preterm infant to the intrauterine environment would decrease the stress behaviors of the infants and would provide the physiological values to be followed up in the positive direction, and as a result of these, it would contribute to supporting the recovery and shortening the discharge period. The study was planned as a randomized controlled experimental design in order to determine the effect of the sound applied on the 26-37 week-old preterm infants on their heart rate, oxygen saturation and comfort level.
This study will carried out to determine the effect of acupressure applied to Tianshu (ST25), Guanyuan (CV4) and Hegu (LI4) acupuncture points for a total of 6 minutes, two to each point, on the symptoms of constipation in the elderly people receiving institutional care.
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the developed program on screen usage time and physical activity for pre-school children.
The aim of this clinical trials is to determine the effect of sexual counseling applied in line with a special counseling model on the sexual functions of couples during pregnancy and postpartum period in order to prevent sexual problems that may occur in the pregnant woman and her husband during pregnancy. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does sexual counseling to be conducted during pregnancy prevent the problems that may occur in women during pregnancy and postpartum period? 2. Does sexual counseling to be conducted during pregnancy prevent the problems that may occur in pregnant women's husband during pregnancy and postpartum period? Questionnaires evaluating the sexual lives of the participants were administered. Afterwards, sexual counseling was given to the pregnant woman and her husband in the first three months of pregnancy. After the counseling, the questionnaires were applied again in the later stages of pregnancy and in the postpartum period. In order to see whether sexual counseling affects sexual problems that may develop during pregnancy and postpartum period, the researchers compared the counseling couples with the pregnant women who did not receive counseling and their spouses.
This study was planned to examine the effects of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program, which is one of the popular concepts of the 21st century, on depression, psychological well-being and prenatal attachment, which are likely to occur as a result of increased stress during an important period that requires adjustment as a result of physical, mental and cognitive changes during pregnancy. It is planned to be carried out with the ZOOM Cloud Meetings program, which is an online education platform, with pregnant women who apply to the Health Sciences University Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital pregnancy polyclinic in the Ümraniye district of Istanbul. The universe of the research will be the pregnant women who applied to the Health Sciences University Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital pregnant outpatient clinic. Primiparous pregnant women who meet the inclusion criteria and willingly agree to participate in the study will be included in the study. 54 people in the intervention group, 54 people in the control group, and a total of 108 people will be taken. While the Conscious Awareness-Based Stress Reduction Program adapted for pregnant women will be applied to the intervention group, routine follow-up will be applied to the control group within the scope of the outpatient clinic follow-up of the relevant institution. Informed Voluntary Consent Form, Descriptive Characteristics Information Form, Psychological Well-Being Scale, Beck Depression Scale, Prenatal Attachment Scale and Conscious Awareness Scale will be administered to the participants included in the study. As a result of the findings, the discussion and results of the study will be written.
Migraine: An episodic disorder consisting of severe headache, usually with photophobia (sensitivity to light), phonophobia (sensitivity to sound), and/or nausea (occasionally vomiting). Migraine is predominantly a female disease. The incidence of migraine was found to in women (18.2/1000 person-years) and between the ages of 15-19 in men (6.2/1000 person-years). The incidence of migraine was found to peak between the ages of 20-24 in women (18.2/1000 person-years) and between the ages of 15-19 in men (6.2/1000 person-years). Migraine treatments are generally classified as pharmacological (treatment with medication) and non-pharmacological (treatment with no medication). Laughter therapy has recently come to the fore as a non-pharmacological and alternative treatment in chronic pain management. In a randomized controlled study, 30 minutes of laughter therapy was applied to women on the 2nd and 6th days after mastectomy surgery and it was determined that women who received laughter therapy had a significant decrease in pain and anxiety levels. This study was planned to determine the effect of laughter therapy on women with migraine.
