There are about 3709 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Thailand. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of VIS649 in participants with immunoglobulin A (IgA) Nephropathy (IgAN)
The aim of the present study is to determine the effect of the five-session dual-tDCS combine with physical therapy on gait performance, balance and lower limbs muscle strength in patients with subacute stroke.
Hypertension is one of the most common chronic medical conditions. The concerned sequelae are the cardiovascular complications, especially acute myocardial infarction and stroke. In Thailand, the incidence of hypertension is increasing each year. Many clinical studies found that salt intake over the reference level (>5 g/day) would result in elevated blood pressure (BP) and long-term morbidity. Dietary salt reduction campaigns were unsuccessful, in part, due to time limitation in the clinic, lacking of awareness, and the higher threshold to detect salt taste in chronic high salt ingestion. Salt meter is a device used to detect sodium content in daily food. It will facilitate monitoring and control of salt intake. The 24-hour urinary sodium excretion is an acceptable method to reflect the quantity of sodium intake. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of salt meter plus dietary education compared with education alone in terms of salt intake reduction, blood pressure, salt taste sensitivity, and vascular consequence.
Although the asthmatic treatments currently be effective in term of efficacy of inhaled medications and good clinical outcome including symptom controlled and asthma exacerbation number, the large number of worse event still have been reported. Few cases eventually have been intubated and died even though using optimal medication. In this study, we will search to identify factors that may influence intubation in hospitalised patient with asthmatic attack.
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate superiority of macitentan 75 milligrams (mg) in prolonging the time to the first clinical events committee (CEC)-adjudicated morbidity or mortality (M/M) event in participants with symptomatic pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) compared to macitentan 10 mg.
This study will evaluate the potential drug-drug interactions between dolutegravir (DTG) and steady state rifapentine (RPT) when RPT is given with isoniazid (INH) daily for 4 weeks (1HP) as part of treatment for latent TB infection (LTBI) in HIV-1 and LTBI co-infected individuals.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effect of macitentan 75 mg versus placebo on exercise capacity at Week 28 in participants with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH).
The investigators proposed that pain, agitation, delirium and sleep deprivation protocol (PADS) will help improve the patients' outcomes (shortening ICU length of stay, improving ventilator free days, increasing delirium free days) in critically ill patients, a university hospital, Thailand.
DISSECT-N is a post-market registry designed to assess real-world safety and effectiveness of Valiant Navion Thoracic Stent Graft System in the treatment of thoracic aortic dissections in real world practice.
This is a Phase III multi-center, randomized, two-arm parallel-group, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of MBG453 or placebo added to azacitidine in adult subjects with intermediate, high or very high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) as per IPSS-R, or Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia-2 (CMML-2) who are not eligible for intensive chemotherapy or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) according to medical judgment by the investigator. The purpose of the current study is to assess clinical effects of MBG453 in combination with azacitidine in adult subjects with IPSS-R intermediate, high, very high risk MDS and CMML-2.
