NCT ID: NCT03508947 Completed - Clinical trials for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Safety and Tolerability of WVE-210201 in Patients With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Start date: January 24, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single ascending dose cohort study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and plasma concentrations of WVE-210201 in ambulatory and non-ambulatory male pediatric patients with DMD amenable to exon 51 skipping intervention.

NCT ID: NCT03508219 Terminated - Coronary Stenosis Clinical Trials

POLish Bifurcation Optimal Treatment Strategy Study for Left Main Bifurcation Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

POLBOS LM
Start date: August 10, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to study the safety and efficacy of the BiOSS LIM C with respect to Patient oriented Composite Endpoint (PoCE) at 12 months in a "real world" left-main bifurcation population and as compared with a prespecified performance goal.

NCT ID: NCT03507777 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

ILUMIEN IV: OPTIMAL PCI

Start date: May 17, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this prospective, single-blind clinical investigation is to demonstrate the superiority of an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)-guided stent implantation strategy as compared to an angiography-guided stent implantation strategy in achieving larger post-PCI lumen dimensions and improving clinical cardiovascular outcomes in patients with high-risk clinical characteristics and/or with high-risk angiographic lesions.

NCT ID: NCT03507504 Recruiting - Dementia Clinical Trials

REspectful CAring for the AGitated Elderly

RECAGE
Start date: April 19, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The treatment of Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD) continue to raise difficult problems. Both the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies often fail to achieve the expected results. The aim of this study is to assess the short- and long-term efficacy of an intervention, the Special Care Unit for patients with BPSD (SCU-B), already implemented in some countries but not validated so far, as well as its cost-effectiveness

NCT ID: NCT03507439 Completed - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

REALIsM-HF Pilot Study

REALIsM-HF
Start date: April 6, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study aims to explore two marketed devices providing a multimarker monitoring including physical activity under real-life conditions in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and with heart failure and reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). It aims to identify potential novel endpoints for future heart failure trials by exploring clinically relevant changes over time and correlations/associations with conventional endpoints such as the six minute walking distance (6MWD), biomarkers and clinical events. Furthermore, it aims to address the challenges and feasibility of implementing device based measurements under real-life conditions.

NCT ID: NCT03507361 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Stable Angina

Myocardial Damage and Music Study

MYDA-MUSIC
Start date: May 2, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

MYDA-MUSIC study is a randomized, double blind (operator and analyst) study performed in San Filippo Neri Hospital, Roma, Italy and in Di Venere Hospital, Bari, Italy. The planned study duration is 12 months. The objectives are to assess the effects of heart-rate-variability based music on the incidence and magnitude of peri-procedural myocardial damage caused by coronary angioplasty in stable patients. 443 patients with chronic stable angina scheduled for a coronary angiography and possible ad hoc angioplasty will be randomized to receive music or dumb earphones.

NCT ID: NCT03507062 Completed - Acid-Base Imbalance Clinical Trials

Effect of Crystalloids With Different SID on pH, and Urinary Electrolytes During General Anesthesia

CRYSID
Start date: December 10, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The present study will investigate variations in acid base equilibrium caused by the administration of four different crystalloids with increasing strong ion difference (0.9% saline, Ringer's lactate, Ringer's acetate, plasmalyte-like solution) in patients during general anesthesia. The same crystalloid will be administered throughout the surgery. In order to assess the effect of hemodilution, every patient will receive two fluid boli with different volumes of the same solution. pH and strong ion variations, togher with the renal response to acid base disturbances, will be analysed.

NCT ID: NCT03506282 Recruiting - Healthy Clinical Trials

Does Listening to Music Alter the Running Mechanics?

Start date: July 15, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether in healthy subjects listening to music while running influences the ground pressure forces, the vertical loading and, overall, the running biomechanics.

NCT ID: NCT03505801 Active, not recruiting - Atrial Fibrillation Clinical Trials

Confirm Rx Insertable Cardiac Monitor SMART Registry

Start date: April 24, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The purpose of the Confirm Rx SMART Registry is to collect real world data to assess the safety and performance of the Confirm Rx Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) and system over a 12 month period. A sub-set of subjects enrolled in the Confirm Rx SMART Registry will meet the Post Market Clinical Follow-Up (PMCF) requirement for CE mark.

NCT ID: NCT03505723 Completed - Venous Thrombosis Clinical Trials

PeriOperative ISchemic Evaluation-3 Trial

POISE-3
Start date: June 27, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is a multicentre, international, randomized controlled trial of tranexamic acid (TXA) versus placebo and, using a partial factorial design, of a perioperative hypotension-avoidance versus hypertension-avoidance strategy.
