There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to estimate the proportion of participants fulfilling criteria for symptomatic remission following a transition to 12 months treatment with flexible-dose paliperidone palmitate 3 month formulation (PP3M) in participants with schizophrenia previously adequately treated with paliperidone palmitate 1 month formulation (PP1M) for at least 4 months.
This phase 1 / 2 study will evaluate the response of B-cell malignancies expressing CD19 to autologous T cells transduced with a second generation anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor in children and young adults.
This is a proof of concept, randomized, open label, 2-arm study of OPRX-106 in subjects with active mild to moderate ulcerative colitis. Eligible subjects will be enrolled and randomized to receive 2 mg or 8 mg of OPRX-106 administered orally, once daily for 8 weeks.
The neurobiological underpinnings of obesity point to brain asymmetry in cortical and deeper brain regions. Furthermore, chemical, structural and functional imbalance in cortical and sub-cortical brain regions alters reward processing, attentional control and self-regulation in food-addicted obese individuals. In this study the investigators use TMS with a special multichannel H-coil developed by their lab to safely stimulate cortical and deeper brain regions in obese humans. The investigators aim to produce interhemispheric neuroplasticity (INP) using a paired associative stimulation (PAS) protocol over the DLPFC, to restore neurobiological functioning, alleviate food addiction symptoms, and promote weight loss.
Febrile shivering in the pediatric population is assumed to be related to a Severe Bacterial Infection (SBI). Research supporting this assumption is scant. The purpose of this study is to describe the frequency of febrile shivering in the pediatric population arriving at the emergency department and to define its role in predicting a SBI.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is proposed as a possible in vivo angiogenic stimulator for improving microvascular myocardial perfusion and anginal symptoms as assessed by myocardial perfusion imaging and angina questionnaire in patients with chronic stable ischemic heart disease, when no other means to relief symptoms and/or ischemia are available.
The investigators hypothesis is that we can determine estrogen and progesterone levels in the hair by using the immune method and we can show a significant difference in the levels of these hormones in both groups of women: pre- and postmenopausal women. If indeed it would then be possible in future to carry out research that can find a relationship between the levels of these hormones and various diseases
Induction of labor at term versus expectant management among women with abnormal maternal biochemical markers. A randomized controlled trial
This study aims to assess the feasibility of Intendu Cognitive Motion-Based Videogames in Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) patients in inpatient treatment and in the community and to evaluate the effects of training on patients' cognitive performance
The investigators like to learn whether Lidoderm patch (lidocaine 5%) helps tinnitus patients. so far it is known that lidocaine I.V do helps tinnitus but until now it is not clear if other means of drug delivery (e.g lidocaine patch) help tinnitus. The investigators are going to compare 1 day of treatment with lidoderm patch cream Versus (VS.) tegaderm patch (containing no drug) in treating tinnitus patients.
