Patient with Tetralogy of Fallot need live-long surveillance after initial operative correction (rTOF). MRI is an established and important component of the standardized follow-up in this patient population. A new score will be used to summarize the multitude of MRI-based parameters into a single number. Individual modificators are assigned to the components of the score. The value of each modificatory will be determined as a result of this feasibility trial. This new compound score is designed to anticipate any deterioration of cardiac function, arrhythmias or sudden cardiac death. This feasibility study is the first step to establish this score and find initial values for the modifies that are assigned to the more than 40 biomarkers from MRI, clinical examinations and serum parameters that are included in this new score.
This phase II clinical trial evaluates the efficacy and tolerability of the non-intensive treatment with venetoclax and the hypomethylating agent azacitidine as compared to the standard of care chemotherapy plus gemtuzumab ozogamicin in newly diagnosed NPM1 mutated AML patients fit for intensive chemotherapy.
After the Introduction of the pathological circumferential resection margin (CRM status by LEEPP Protocol), residual cancer (R1 resection) was most often found in the dorsal and medial resection margins. Yet only the medial resection margin is preoperatively evaluated during staging, while the dorsal resection margin which embeds the mesopancreatic fat and thus resembles the area of the mesopancreas, is not considered during preoperative assessment for resectability. Local recurrence is similarly prevalent as systemic relapse, and revised lower rates of R0CRM- resections through the LEEPP protocol explained the poor local tumor control. The aim of this study is to interdisciplinary approach the circumferential infiltration status of the PDAC concentrating foremost on the mesopancreas of the dorsal resection margin by including anatomic and embryologic derived perspectives.
The goal of this (monocentric, randomised, placebo-controlled single-blinded; phase 2) clinical trial is to test the hypothesis that DNase 1 administration leads to a reduction in systemic immune response measured in patients after acute ischaemic stroke compared to control treatment. Participants will receive intravenous DNase 1 (500 µg/kg) or placebo (NaCl 0.9%) twice within 24±6 hours after symptom onset (last seen well). Blood samples will be taken at baseline, day 1 and 3. Personal visits will occur on baseline, day 1, 3 and discharge date. A telephone interview will be conducted on day 30±3.
The goal of this observational study is to learn about a new type of computed tomography (Photon-Counting Detector CT) in patients with coronary artery disease. The main questions it aims to answer are: - How good is the image quality for the new CT - How accurate are measurements in the images of the new CT - Is there a relationship between measurements in the images and the management of the disease (e.g. new medication or additional investigations) - Is there a relationship between measurements in the images and the results of follow-up investigations - Is there a relationship between measurements in the images and the patient outcome Participants will undergo normal clinical assessment of coronary artery disease and all data from the CT scan and additional investigations will be collected. There will be no additional investigations for the purpose of the study. After 1, 2 and 5 years, participants will be asked to answer a health questionaire.

Biomarkers and mechanisms in the progression of aortic valve stenosis are sometimes not sufficiently understood. The current project will take into account image morphological and immunological aspects that predict the development of hemodynamically relevant aortic valve stenosis in order to identify high-risk patients and to develop further therapeutic options.
The primary objective of this clinical trial is to evaluate whether primary total pancreatectomy with simultaneous islet autotransplantation compared with pancreatic head resection (alone) can reduce perioperative morbidity and time to initiation of adjuvant therapy in patients with a high-risk constellation for pancreatic fistulas.
The goal of this study is to determine the efficacy of the study drugs ribociclib and everolimus to treat pediatric and young adult patients newly diagnosed with a high-grade glioma (HGG), including DIPG, that have genetic changes in pathways (cell cycle, PI3K/mTOR) that these drugs target. The main question the study aims to answer is whether the combination of ribociclib and everolimus can prolong the life of patients diagnosed with HGG, including DIPG.
The goal of this study is to perform genetic sequencing on brain tumors from children, adolescents, and young adult patients who have been newly diagnosed with a high-grade glioma. This molecular profiling will decide if patients are eligible to participate in a subsequent treatment-based clinical trial based on the genetic alterations identified in their tumor.
