This research study will examine how diet during pregnancy can benefit pregnancy and pregnancy outcome, such as your baby's weight. More specifically, the investigators will study the effects of two different food oils/fats that are commonly consumed to determine if one is more effective in limiting maternal inflammation during pregnancy. You are being asked to take part in this study because it will help us update and make the best dietary recommendations for pregnant women and women of child bearing ages.

Acupuncture for Lymphedema Secondary to Breast Cancer Treatment

This study is being conducted to determine if electro-acupuncture can reduce swelling of the arm due to breast cancer treatment (commonly referred to as 'lymphedema'). Research conducted on animals suggests that such treatment might be used to improve circulation leading to reductions in swelling. Previous research in humans with lymphedema suggests that treatment may be safe to use, although results regarding its efficacy in the reduction of swelling have not yet been established. This research will use sophisticated, non-invasive assessment methods to determine if a single session of electro-acupuncture treatment can be effective for reducing lymphedema. Results may be used to further develop our understanding of how electro-acupuncture can be used in the management of this condition. Electro-acupuncture may provide a promising complement or alternative to conventional lymphedema treatments such as compression bandaging, massage therapy or surgery.

Interest of Indocyanine Green in Neoplastic Prostatic Tissue

Prostate cancer, with more than 70,000 new cases and 8900 deaths a year in France, is a major public health problem. Until 28% of patients treated with surgery will present a positive surgical margin resulting in an incomplete clearance of the tumoral process and exposing so the patient at a local, systemic recurrence and increased morbidity. An increasing number of international publications have shown (ICG) was interesting for the detection of the sentinel lymph node, in the surgery of tumors of type hepatocarcinoma and liver metastases from colorectal diseases, but also in the surgery of the kidney, bladder or breast. ICG has affinity for tumor and tissues around the tumor related to micro-vascular histology for a localized and specific deposit (EPR effect). The detection of ICG 's deposits is now possible with to the use of a device which allow to visualize the infra-red fluorescence (NIR; Near Infra-Red) for objects larger than 0.15 mm. Thanks to this feature, the location of residual tumor tissue when performing a radical prostatectomy could be made much easier.

Diagnostic Value of Sperm DNA Fragmentation and Sperm Morphology for Assisted Reproduction Treatment

All patients will go through an ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection)cycle Monitoring: COH (controlled ovarian hyperstimulation) will be monitored by transvaginal sonography, and then the dose of gonadotropin will be adjusted according to the follicle size and number. Triggering ovulation: when three or more follicles reach >18mm, endometrium triple line >8mm, both the gonadotropin and agonist injections will be stopped and 10,000 IU of hCG(human chorionic gonadotropin ) will be given. Egg collection : 34-36 hour after hCG injection, embryo transfer :48-72 hour after oocyte retrieval. Luteal phase support: with 100 mg progesterone injection IM daily until the day of the pregnancy test pregnancy test: 15 days after the embryo transfer. Semen collection and preparation Semen samples will be collected by masturbation in clean containers, usually after 2-3 days of abstinence. Each sample will be allowed to liquefy for at least 20 min at 37 °C. Semen analysis: Basic sperm parameters including sperm count, concentration, motility and morphology will be evaluated according to World Health Organization guidelines. After the initial assessment, ejaculates will be divided into three aliquots. An aliquot of each sample will be used to assess sperm DNA damage, the second aliquot will be processed by direct swim-up technique (n 30) or zeta test technique (n 30) this will be followed by assessment of DNA damage again in each sample to measure the difference in DNA damage after processing in each technique then spermatozoa from the third aliquot will be morphologically analyzed manually using Spermic stain and a light microscope and will be scored according to WHO

Improving Cancer Foci Detection in Prostate Cancer Using Multiparametric MRI/MRS

The investigators' goal is to develop a non-selective and non-invasive procedure to identify aggressive tumors and simultaneously identify their exact location in Prostate cancer patients undergoing radical prostatectomy by combining multiparametric MRI and machine learning techniques. The combination of multi-parametric MRI and machine learning (validated using histopathology) can lead to increased sensitivity and specificity of cancer foci in the prostate, and help in isolating aggressive from indolent tumors. This increased sensitivity and specificity may eventually lead to: a) a reduction in the number of patients that undergo unnecessary treatment, and b) enhance current treatment options by enabling the use of focused therapies. The investigators will recruit 15 patients with prostate cancer that are currently scheduled to undergo radical prostatectomy into the study. All patients will obtain an advanced MRI study prior to the radical prostatectomy. MRI scans will include a) high-resolution volumetric images using T1 and T2-weighted imaging, b) vascular images using dynamic contrast enhanced (DCE) imaging, c) biophysical microstructure images using diffusion-weighted imaging, and d) biochemical images using MR spectroscopic imaging. Following radical prostatectomy, a pathologist will grade the prostatectomy specimens based on standard of care (Gleason grading system). Correlations will be generated between the parameters obtained from scans and from clinical assessments.
