A Study With Pembrolizumab in Combination With Dual Anti-HER2 Blockade With Trastuzumab and Pertuzumab in Early Breast Cancer Patients With Molecular HER2-enriched Intrinsic Subtype (Keyriched-1)

Keyriched-1
Start date: August 18, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Keyriched-1 is a multicenter, interventional, prospective, single arm, open label, neoadjuvant phase II trial evaluating the pathological complete response (pCR) rate induced by pembrolizumab in combination with the dual anti-HER2 blockade consisting of trastuzumab biosimilar ABP 980 and pertuzumab in early breast cancer patients with molecular HER2-enriched intrinsic subtype tested by PAM50.

NCT ID: NCT03985267 Completed - Depression Clinical Trials

A New Mindfulness Intervention Called Mindfulness Based Swinging Technique (MBST) for Women With Breast Cancer

Start date: November 29, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

It is hypothesised to find that the new mindfulness intervention of Mindfulness Based Swinging Technique (MBST) for Women With Breast Cancer is an effective therapeutic intervention to be applied in breast cancer population. This intervention intended to support patients' management of their chronic illness (self-efficacy) by increasing their hope about their treatment and alleviate anxiety, as well as increase patient saturation level. Therefore, enabling patients to continue to their medical as well as psychological treatment will result improved anxiety, stress levels, hope and self-efficacy. It is known that mental health needs of cancer patients differ from people who do not suffer from a chronic illness.

NCT ID: NCT03983538 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Mathematical Modeling to Predict Response to Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Breast Cancer

Start date: June 2, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a feasibility study evaluating the use of a mathematical model to predict response to standard neoadjuvant anthracycline / taxane based chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03983096 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Pegylated Liposomal Doxorubicin or Epirubicin in Neoadjuvant or Adjuvant Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer.

Start date: July 7, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin or epirubicin in neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03981731 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Management of Perioperative Anxiety by the Cardiac Coherence Technique Coupled With a Hypnosis Session

COHEC
Start date: February 14, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

the investigator proposes to use the cardiac coherence technique coupled with a hypnosis session to improve post-operative recovery.

NCT ID: NCT03980626 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Study on Physical Activity's Relationship With Cancer and Cognition

SPARCC
Start date: September 30, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot study tests the effects of aerobic exercise training on cognitive function in breast cancer survivors (BCS). Participants will be randomized to a 12-week walking intervention or usual care. Walking participants will attend small group sessions led by an exercise specialist 3 times weekly. Usual care participants will complete baseline and post-testing and be offered two sessions with an exercise specialist. All participants will complete a fitness test, electrophysiology, and patient-reported outcomes at baseline and post-intervention. A subset of participants will also be invited to undergo magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The investigators will generate preliminary data on clinical and biological correlates of exercise and cognition, including treatment protocol, cardiorespiratory fitness, brain structure and function, and cancer-related fatigue.

NCT ID: NCT03980093 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

The REACH Study: A Novel Values-Based Intervention to Increase Endocrine Therapy Adherence Among Breast Cancer Survivors

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot trial compares two online interventions to improve adherence to anti-hormonal medication among women with the most common form of breast cancer (estrogen receptor-positive).

NCT ID: NCT03979729 Completed - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Screening

Breast Cancer Screening for Underserved Women: Comparing Outcomes and Lowering Recall Rates With 3D- vs. 2D-mammography

Start date: September 22, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Three-dimensional (3D) + two-dimensional (2D)- mammography may have particular value for minority, rural, and underserved women in New Mexico by decreasing recall rates and improving diagnostic sensitivity, thus alleviating some of the unique burdens associated with breast cancer screening in the multi-ethnic and underserved New Mexico patient population. Primary objective: To compare recall rates using 3D + 2D- vs. 2D- mammogram in New Mexico women undergoing screening mammogram between 2013 and 2016. Secondary objectives: Evaluate knowledge, attitudes, perceived barriers, intentions, decisional influences, and other psychosocial/cultural factors influencing breast cancer screening among medically underserved patients and assess what impact 3D + 2D-mammography might have on those perceptions; Determine primary care providers' knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and preferences regarding 3D + 2D- vs. 2D- mammography; evaluate breast cancer detection rate and biopsy positive predictive value for screening mammograms using 3D + 2D- vs. 2D using PENRAD data; evaluate screening outcome, compliance with recall recommendations, breast cancer detection rate, positive predictive value, and demographics of interest in New Mexico women undergoing screening and offered 3-D mammography (retrospective chart review).

NCT ID: NCT03975855 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Evaluation of NeoNavia® Biopsy System in Axillary Lymph Nodes

PULSE
Start date: February 14, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of the study is to document performance characteristics of a biopsy device indicated for use in axillary lymph nodes, to provide basic insights into the complexity of axillary biopsy procedures and generate hypothesis for further larger comparative trials. This is a Sponsor-initiated prospective, multicenter, registry trial. Patients that present with suspicious axillary lymph nodes at the time of breast cancer diagnosis undergo axillary sampling using the NeoNavia biopsy system. This is in accordance with clinical routine and current clinical guidelines. The system incorporates a new mechanism for controllable and precise needle insertion and a newly developed sampling needle for high yield sampling acquisition. It is approved for use in the breast and axillary lymph nodes.

DMT SV RRS2
Start date: June 8, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this multi‐reader, multi‐case (MRMC) reader study is to evaluate reader performance when SoftVue™ automated breast ultrasound and screening mammography are combined, compared to screening mammography alone, in women with dense breast parenchyma. This reader study will include approximately 32 radiologist readers and a sample of approximately 200 breast screening cases to be selected from the library of images collected under Delphinus Protocol #DMT‐2015.001 (NCT03257839) Arm 1 Phases B, C, and D. The reader study image case set will be enriched with cancer cases.
