Filter by:Breast surgeries are usually associated with sever postoperative pain ,good perioperative analgesic technique after breast surgery is always questionable .Thoracic epidural and paravertebral blocks became the gold standard techniques for pain relief ,however they may be associated with complications such as spinal cord injury, total spinal anesthesia ,inadvertent intravascular injection and pneumothorax . Recently , fascial plane blocks have been introduced as an alternative such as erector spinae plane block and serratus plane block Serratus plane block were introduced by Blanco et al where local anesthetic injected superficial to the muscle to provide nerve block of the lateral cutaneous branches of the intercostal nerves Rhomboid intercostal block is an interfascial plane block for chest wall analgesia, it was reported in 2016 as alternative to thoracic epidural and paravertebral blocks.
The study is a single-center, open, single-dose, self-controlled clinical trial. It is planned to enroll 24-30 subjects. Subjects will take the SHR6390 on Day1.
The primary aim of this prospective, multicentre study is to determine whether the involved node can be marked using black carbon dye and successfully identified at the time of surgery. The secondary aims are to determine the concordance between the tattooed node and sentinel node, migration of black dye into other nodes, and false-negative rate of tattooed node (in patients undergoing ALND after NACT).
In this single arm, open label, phase 2 trial, operable patients with stage IIB-III HR+/HER2- breast cancer will be enrolled and receive six cycles of adjuvant dalpiciclib plus letrozole. This study aims to assessed the biological effects and safety of dalpiciclib in combination with letrozole for HR+/HER2- breast cancer in the neoadjuvant setting.
This study is the first prospective randomized study assessing the patient-reported outcomes and safety outcomes between preoperative and postmastectomy radiotherapy in locally advanced breast cancer patients with immediate reconstruction of deep inferior epigastric perforator(DIEP) flap. Radiotherapy before mastectomy and autologous free-flap breast reconstruction can avoid adverse radiation effects on healthy donor tissues and delays to adjuvant radiotherapy. We aimed to explore the feasibility of preoperative radiotherapy followed by DIEP flap reconstruction in patients with breast cancer requiring mastectomy.
About a half of HER2-negative breast cancer show HER2-low expression that can be targeted by new antibody-drug conjugates. The main aim of this study is to describe the evolution of HER2 expression from primary BC to relapse by including HER2-low category in both primary and recurrent BC samples. Patients with matched primary and relapse BC samples were included. 1299 patients were included.
Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) could improve surgical outcomes and reduce complications like SSI, wound dehiscence and seroma in closed surgical wounds. To date, NPWT was not evaluated in patients undergoing breast conserving surgery without direct reconstruction.Therefore, the aim of this trial is to evaluate the feasibility of NPWT after surgery and its effects on postoperative complications.

This study examines TRPC6 in predicting and preventing chemotherapy related cardiac toxicity and heart failure in patients with breast cancer. Cardiac toxicity, changes in heart function is a well-recognized complication of certain cancer related therapies. Understanding these changes may allow early intervention against therapy-related cardiac toxicity and also identify novel therapeutic targets to protect patient long-term cardiac health. Studying samples of blood from patients with breast cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), identify biomarkers related to cardiac toxicity, and prevent the development of therapy-induced cardiac toxicity in patients receiving chemotherapy.
This study aims at evaluating and comparing the anti-tumor effects of metformin and statins (hydroxyl-methyl-glutaryl-CoA reductase inhibitors) in patients with non-metastatic breast cancer (stage I, II, & III).
