The goal of this observational study is to assess the accuracy of screening for diabetic peripheral neuropathy by comparing the Ipswich touch test with the 10-g monofilament test in patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The main question it aims to answer is: How does the accuracy of the Ipswich Touch Test for identifying peripheral neuropathy compare to the traditional 10-g monofilament test? Participants underwent both the Ipswich touch test and the 10-g monofilament test.
The purpose of this study was to study factors for controlling hypertension or type 2 diabetes before stroke diagnosis on the severity level when a stroke occurs, NIHSS, and survival rate after having a stroke in 1 year in Trat Province The research hypothesis was patients with hypertension or type 2 diabetes who are well-controlled Will have a lower NIHSS score than the group whose disease is not well-controlled. and patients with hypertension or type 2 diabetes that is well controlled There will be a higher survival rate for patients diagnosed with cerebrovascular disease within 1 year than those whose disease cannot be controlled.
BACKGROUND: Pulmonary tuberculosis remains the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Thailand. The microbiological detection of TB is important because of early and correct diagnosis, drug resistance testing and ensures that the effective treatment can be achieved and in a timely manner. Mycobacterial culture is the gold standard diagnostic test. Currently, a real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay, such as Allplex™ MTB/MDRe Detection, Seegene is commonly used. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the diagnosis value of the real-time multiplex PCR by using Allplex™ MTB/MDRe Detection kit to detect MTB from sputum specimens with a gold standard TB culture.
The goal of this clinical trial was to compare the efficiencies of bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) measurement frequency in preventing intradialytic hypotension in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients undergoing regular hemodialysis. The main question aimed to answer about the optimum frequency of BIA measurements to prevent intradialytic hypotension. Participants underwent BIA measurements to determine their appropriate dry weight, and factors affecting intradialytic hypotension. Researchers compared the efficiencies of BIA measurements between the every-1-month group and the every-2-month group to prevent intradialytic hypotension.

Now aday there are more interest for using Vernonia cinerea as a medication to aid smoker to quit smoking because it is cheaper than other current therapeutic medications. The objective of this study is to evaluate efficacy and safety of Vernonia cinerea lozenge for smoking cessation when compared to placebo.
The goal of this prospective observational study is to test combination of STOP-Bang score and factors predicting difficult intubation can improve accuracy of prediction difficult mask ventilation in obese patients that undergoing to elective surgery under general anesthesia. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: - Can combination of STOP-Bang score and factors predicting difficult intubation improve accuracy of prediction difficult mask ventilation in obese patients? - Study about complication after endotracheal tube insertion in obese patients that undergoing to elective surgery under general anesthesia. Participants who undergoing to elective surgery under general anesthesia will - Routine preoperative evaluation and ask about STOP bang questions, evaluate neck circumference, Mallampati grade,Thyromental distance (That routine physical examination for anesthetic care pre-operation) - In operation room, patients will be inducted anesthesia by anesthesiologist (step routine for general anesthesia),observe difficult mask ventilation grading before intubate endotracheal tube and complication after endotracheal tube insertion. If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare obese patients with/without high STOP bang score >=3 point plus factor predicting difficult intubation (Mallampati grade 3-4, Neck circumference > 42 cm, Thyromental distance < 6 cm)to prediction difficult mask ventilation
