Start date: February 12, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of combination therapy with pembrolizumab (MK-3475) and lenvatinib (E7080/MK-7902) in participants with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer (CRC), glioblastoma (GBM), biliary tract cancers (BTC), or pancreatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03785106 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for HIV-infected Participants With Latent TB Infection in High TB Burden Country

Tuberculosis Preventive Therapy Among Latent Tuberculosis Infection in HIV-infected Individuals

Start date: August 15, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The investigators want to know if ultra-short, effective treatment for latent tuberculosis (TB) infection (LTBI) could dramatically reduce the global incidence of active TB or not. The investigators hypothesize that short-course (4-week) daily isoniazid/rifapentine (INH/RPT) (1HP) is not inferior to standard -course (12 weeks) INH/RPT weekly regimen (3HP) for the prevention of TB in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected individuals.

NCT ID: NCT03778957 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

A Global Study to Evaluate Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) in Combination With Durvalumab and Bevacizumab Therapy in Patients With Locoregional Hepatocellular Carcinoma

EMERALD-1
Start date: November 30, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A global study to evaluate transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) in combination with durvalumab and bevacizumab therapy in patients with locoregional hepatocellular carcinoma

NCT ID: NCT03776305 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Critically Ill Patients With ECMO

Imipenem in Critically Ill Patients

Start date: December 1, 2015
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) has become increasingly used for lifesaving respiratory and/or cardiac failure support in critically ill patients, including those with life-threatening severe infections. This cardiopulmonary bypass device has been shown to enhance the profound pathophysiological changes in this patient population, resulting in an alteration of the pharmacokinetics (PK) of antimicrobial agents. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of ECMO on the PK of imipenem in critically ill patients supported by this cardiopulmonary bypass device. Methods The study was conducted in critically ill patients with respiratory and/or cardiac failure and suspected severe nosocomial infections who were supported by ECMO. All patients received a 1-h infusion of 0.5 g of imipenem every 6 h and imipenem PK studies were carried out on the fourth dose of drug administration.

NCT ID: NCT03774082 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Graft vs Host Disease

Activity, Safety and Pharmacokinetics in Pediatric Subjects With Moderate and Severe Chronic Graft vs. Host Disease After Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant

Start date: May 20, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This open-label, single-arm, Phase II multi-center study will enroll approximately 42 subjects and investigate the activity, pharmacokinetics and safety of ruxolitinib added to the subject's immunosuppressive regimen among infants, children, and adolescents aged ≥28 days to <18 years old with either moderate to severe treatment-naive cGvHD or SR-cGvHD. Subjects will be grouped according to their age as follows: Group 1 includes subjects ≥12y to <18y, Group 2 includes subjects ≥6y to <12y, Group 3 includes subjects ≥2y to <6y, and Group 4 includes subjects ≥28days to <2y.

NCT ID: NCT03755791 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Study of Cabozantinib in Combination With Atezolizumab Versus Sorafenib in Subjects With Advanced HCC Who Have Not Received Previous Systemic Anticancer Therapy

COSMIC-312
Start date: June 10, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This Phase 3 study evaluates the safety and efficacy of cabozantinib in combination with atezolizumab versus the standard of care sorafenib in adults with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who have not received previous systemic anticancer therapy. A single-agent cabozantinib arm will be enrolled in which subjects receive single agent cabozantinib in order to determine its contribution to the overall safety and efficacy of the combination with atezolizumab.

NCT ID: NCT03745495 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Men or Transgender Women Who Have Sex With Men

Start date: October 15, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This will be a prospective study that will enroll up to 600 older adolescent MSM and TGW from community-based clinics in Bangkok, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, and Songkhla.

NCT ID: NCT03735121 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Study to Investigate Atezolizumab Subcutaneous in Patients With Previously Treated Locally Advanced or Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: December 14, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the pharmacokinetics, safety, and efficacy of atezolizumab subcutaneous (SC) compared with atezolizumab intravenous (IV) in participants with locally advanced or metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) who have not been exposed to cancer immunotherapy (CIT) and for whom prior platinum-based therapy has failed. The study is comprised of two parts, as follows: A dose-finding part (Part 1, Phase Ib) will aim to identify the dose of atezolizumab SC to be tested in Part 2. A dose-confirmation part (Part 2, Phase III, randomized) will aim to confirm that the dose moved forward from Part 1 yields drug exposure that is comparable to that of atezolizumab IV.

NCT ID: NCT03713593 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Hepatocellular

Safety and Efficacy of Lenvatinib (E7080/MK-7902) in Combination With Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) Versus Lenvatinib as First-line Therapy in Participants With Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma (MK-7902-002/E7080-G000-311/LEAP-002)

Start date: December 31, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of lenvatinib (E7080/MK-7902) in combination with pembrolizumab (MK-3745) versus lenvatinib in combination with placebo as first-line therapy for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma in adult participants. The primary hypotheses of this study are that lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab is superior to lenvatinib plus placebo with respect to progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).
