NCT ID: NCT04286802 Active, not recruiting - Hypertension Clinical Trials

Impact of Self-monitoring of Salt Intake by Salt Meter in Hypertensive Patients

SMAL-SALT
Start date: July 11, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Hypertension is one of the most common chronic medical conditions. The concerned sequelae are the cardiovascular complications, especially acute myocardial infarction and stroke. In Thailand, the incidence of hypertension is increasing each year. Many clinical studies found that salt intake over the reference level (>5 g/day) would result in elevated blood pressure (BP) and long-term morbidity. Dietary salt reduction campaigns were unsuccessful, in part, due to time limitation in the clinic, lacking of awareness, and the higher threshold to detect salt taste in chronic high salt ingestion. Salt meter is a device used to detect sodium content in daily food. It will facilitate monitoring and control of salt intake. The 24-hour urinary sodium excretion is an acceptable method to reflect the quantity of sodium intake. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of salt meter plus dietary education compared with education alone in terms of salt intake reduction, blood pressure, salt taste sensitivity, and vascular consequence.

NCT ID: NCT04266301 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Study of Efficacy and Safety of MBG453 in Combination With Azacitidine in Subjects With Intermediate, High or Very High Risk Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) as Per IPSS-R, or Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia-2 (CMML-2)

STIMULUS-MDS2
Start date: April 14, 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase III multi-center, randomized, two-arm parallel-group, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of MBG453 or placebo added to azacitidine in adult subjects with intermediate, high or very high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) as per IPSS-R, or Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia-2 (CMML-2) who are not eligible for intensive chemotherapy or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) according to medical judgment by the investigator. The purpose of the current study is to assess clinical effects of MBG453 in combination with azacitidine in adult subjects with IPSS-R intermediate, high, very high risk MDS and CMML-2.

NCT ID: NCT04248829 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Clinical Trial of YH25448(Lazertinib) as the First-line Treatment in Patients With EGFR Mutation Positive Locally Advanced or Metastatic NSCLC (LASER301)

Start date: February 13, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This Phase III study will be conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of YH25448 as first-line treatment in locally advanced or metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) patients with EGFR mutations

NCT ID: NCT04246177 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Hepatocellular

Safety and Efficacy of Lenvatinib (E7080/MK-7902) With Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in Combination With Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) in Participants With Incurable/Non-metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma (MK-7902-012/E7080-G000-318/LEAP-012)

Start date: May 22, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of lenvatinib and pembrolizumab in combination with TACE versus TACE plus oral and intravenous (IV) placebos in participants with incurable, non-metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The primary hypotheses are that pembrolizumab plus lenvatinib in combination with TACE is superior to placebo plus TACE with respect to progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).

NCT ID: NCT04240847 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Skin Numbness and Kneeling Ability

Comparison of Midline With Lateral Skin Incision in Simultaneous Bilateral TKA

Start date: September 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a RCT which compare skin numbness, kneeling ability and functional outcome between midline incision and lateral incision in patients undergoing simultaneous bilateral TKA

NCT ID: NCT04225715 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatitis B, Chronic

A Trial To Evaluate The Efficacy And Safety Of Multiple Combination Therapies In Participants With Chronic Hepatitis B

Piranga
Start date: July 5, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a study designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of New Molecular Entity (NME) combination therapies in Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) participants with preserved liver function and without significant fibrosis/cirrhosis. The platform design allows comparison of multiple NME combination therapies against a common control, and introduction of additional treatment arms at later study time points. Each arm will consist of a screening phase (up to 8 weeks), treatment phase (up to 48 weeks) and post-treatment follow-up phase (48 weeks). The safety and efficacy will be monitored throughout the study.
