Dinutuximab and Irinotecan Versus Irinotecan to Treat Subjects With Relapsed or Refractory Small Cell Lung Cancer

This is a 2-part, multicenter, open-label, randomized study of dinutuximab and irinotecan versus irinotecan alone in subjects with relapsed or refractory small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Part 1 of the study involves intrasubject dose escalation to evaluate the safety and tolerability of dinutuximab in combination with irinotecan. Part 2 of the study is designed to determine whether dinutuximab plus irinotecan prolongs overall survival (OS) compared with irinotecan alone. Subjects in Part 2 will be randomized in a 2:2:1 fashion to 1 of 3 treatment groups: (A) irinotecan; (B) dinutuximab plus irinotecan; or (C) topotecan. Randomization will be stratified by duration of response to prior platinum therapy (relapse-free period <3 months or ≥3 months).

The Clover trial is evaluating an investigational vaccine that may help to prevent Clostridium difficile infection. Participants in the study are adults 50 years of age and older, who are at risk of developing Clostridium difficile infection. The study will assess whether the vaccine prevents the disease, and whether it is safe and well tolerated. Each subject will receive 3 doses of Clostridium difficile vaccine or placebo and be followed for up to 3 years after vaccination for potential Clostridium difficile infection.

Study to Evaluate the Effectiveness and Safety of Ocrelizumab in Participants With Early Stage Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS)

This is a prospective, multicenter, open-label, single-arm, phase 3b study which evaluates effectiveness and safety of ocrelizumab in participants with early stage RRMS. The study will consist of an open-label treatment period of 192 weeks and follow-up period of at least 48 weeks. The optional shorter infusion substudy will evaluate the safety of a shorter infusion of ocrelizumab in a subgroup of participants with early stage RRMS enrolled in the main MA30143 study. Approximately 700 patients will be enrolled in the substudy, and will receive additional 600 mg ocrelizumab administered in a shorter time frame.

To learn in a general Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Defibrillators (CRT-D) population, which optimization techniques are used and how effective they are. It will compare 12-month response rates among different optimization methods and characterize which selected subject subgroups achieve better response than others. A subset of SMART Registry subjects will contribute to the NG4 Post Market Clinical Follow Up (PMCF) Cohort whose objective is collecting data on the NG4 CRT-D features and device usage in a real world setting and monitor long term safety associated with these devices to support CE Mark.

A Clinical Study to Investigate the Effect of a Partially Hydrolysed Infant Formula With Added Synbiotics on Gut Microbiota Composition and Clinical Effectiveness in Infants at High Risk of Developing Allergy

With the rising prevalence of allergic diseases and the subsequent risk of developing other immune-related disorders, primary prevention of allergy has become a major priority. It is generally acknowledged that breastfeeding is one of the main pillars in allergy prevention. Infant formulas based on hydrolysed proteins have been developed to be used by infants at increased risk of developing allergy in case a mother is unable or chooses not to breastfeed her infant. It has recently been demonstrated that the gut microbiota composition and microbiota activity of infants receiving an infant formula based on partially hydrolysed proteins, supplemented with oligosaccharides, is more similar to breastfed infants than to infants receiving standard cow's milk formula, demonstrated by increased levels of bifidobacteria. However the interaction between microbial changes impacted by an hypoallergenic concept and its influence on early life immune development should be further explored. The aim of the present study is therefore to investigate the bifidogenic effect of a hypoallergenic formula supplemented with prebiotics and probiotics compared to standard infant formula in infants at increased risk of developing allergic disease. This study will secondary assess the effects of this concept on the development of allergic manifestations up to the age of 12 months, which will be verified in a separate clinical study MAESTRO as primary outcome. Furthermore, the effects on growth and safety will be studied.
