The purpose of the study is to simplify amivantamab intravenous administration and to reduce dose times, by assessing a new formulation of amivantamab, amivantamab subcutaneous and co-formulated with recombinant human hyaluronidase (SC-CF), for subcutaneous administration. This formulation has the potential to enhance both the patient and physician experience with amivantamab by providing easier and accelerated administration.

A Study on the Long-term Efficacy, Safety and Persistence of Immune Response of a Vaccine Against Herpes Zoster in Older Adults

The purpose of the current ZOSTER-101 long-term follow-up (LTFU) study of ZOSTER-049 (NCT02723773) study, an extension of ZOSTER-006 (NCT01165177) and ZOSTER-022 (NCT01165229) primary studies, is to assess the long-term vaccine efficacy (VE) against Herpes Zoster (HZ) (approximately 11-15 years post primary vaccination in ZOSTER-006/022 studies), persistence of immunogenicity and safety of GSK's Herpes Zoster subunit (HZ/su) vaccine in older adults. The persistence of immunogenicity and safety of 1 or 2 additional doses (0, 2-month schedule) of HZ/su vaccine administered to a small group of participants in ZOSTER-049 study (approximately 5 years after the initial vaccination in ZOSTER-006/022 studies) will also be assessed.

NDV-HXP-S is an inactivated COVID-19 vectored-vaccine virus using the Newcastle Disease Virus as basis and expressing Spike (S) protein from SARS-CoV-2 stabilized in pre-fusion form with Hexapro technology. This vaccine was successfully tested in non-clinical and clinical studies with a good safety profile and eliciting neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. Clinical testing is conducted by an international consortium including three different manufacturers. Butantan, in Brazil, is one of them.

Immediate and Short-term Effects of Low-level Laser

Athletes experience an exhaustive routine of training, associated with the reduced time of rest, facilitates the appearance of muscle fatigue, which increases the risk of muscle injuries, especially during the execution of the jump. Low Level Lasertherapy is a technique that has been increasingly improved due to the physiological effects it provides in the muscle recovery process. However, there is still a lack of studies focused on the use of this technique in functional improvement, especially in jumping sports. Objectives: To evaluate the immediate and short-term effects of low-level laser on the functional performance of lower limbs of jumping athletes and to evaluate the short-term effects of low-level laser on the activation of the gluteus medius and quadriceps muscles. Methods: This is a brief, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial. Will be recruited 24 handball and volleyball players aged between 18 to 35 years. The primary outcome of our study is functional performance (modified hop test and modified SEBT), and as a secondary outcome (level of electromyographic activity). After the baseline assessments, the athletes will be randomized and allocated into two groups: Intervention Group (IG, n=12) and Control Group (CG, n=12) and submitted to a fatigue protocol, followed by laser therapy or placebo.

This is a phase I/II multicenter, open-label umbrella platform study that will evaluate the safety and efficacy of investigational agents with pembrolizumab, plus chemotherapy or lenvatinib, for the treatment of participants with advanced esophageal cancer who have failed 1 prior line of therapy and have not been previously exposed to programmed cell death 1 protein (PD-1)/ programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) based treatment. With protocol amendment 5 (effective: 17-November-2023), enrollment in study arms "Pembrolizumab plus MK-4830 plus Chemotherapy" and "Pembrolizumab plus MK-4830 plus lenvatinib" is discontinued.

A Study to Find Out Whether BI 1015550 Improves Lung Function in People With Progressive Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseases (PF-ILDs)

This study is open to adults with Progressive Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseases (PF-ILDs). People who have a form of PF-ILD other than Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) can join the study. If they already take nintedanib, they can continue treatment throughout the study. The purpose of this study is to find out whether a medicine called BI 1015550 helps people with PF-ILD. Participants are put into 3 groups randomly, which means by chance. Participants in 2 groups take different doses of BI 1015550 as tablets twice a day. Participants in the placebo group take placebo tablets twice a day. Placebo tablets look like BI 1015550 tablets but do not contain any medicine. Participants are in the study for up to two and a half years. During the first year, they visit the study site 10 times. Afterwards, they visit the study site every 3 months. The doctors regularly test participants' lung function. The results of the lung function tests are compared between the groups. The doctors also regularly check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.
