NCT ID: NCT05427071 Recruiting - Chemotherapy Effect Clinical Trials

Magnetic Marker Localization for Occult Breast Cancer and Target Axillary Dissection in Node-positive Breast Cancer Post-neoadjuvant Chemotherapy

MaCTAD
Start date: October 15, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer is expanding in the recent decade. Patients with good response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy could benefit from de-escalation of breast and axilla operation. However, breast tumor and involved axillary lymph node should be marked before the commencement of chemotherapy. This could facilitate subsequent operative planning and intraoperative assessment of disease response. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of magnetic marker localization for non-palpable breast cancer and targeted axillary dissection in patients with node-positive breast cancer following neoadjuvant therapy

NCT ID: NCT05424692 Recruiting - Rectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Drug Sensitivity Detection of Micro Tumor (PTC) to Guide Postoperative Adjuvant Treatment Strategy of Colorectal Cancer

Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The research objectives is to compare vitro 3D drug sensitivity test results of micro tumor (PTC) with the clinical outcomes of patients, evaluate the consistency between the test results of the technology platform and the clinical prognosis, and explore the decision-making value and guiding significance of this technology in assisting the precise treatment of colorectal cancer. The completion of this study will provide real-world data support for the clinical application of micro tumor (PTC) in vitro 3D drug sensitivity detection technology, and provide more valuable reference basis for realizing the individualization and accuracy of colorectal cancer treatment and improving the clinical benefit rate.

NCT ID: NCT05356039 Recruiting - Quality of Life Clinical Trials

Survival, Quality of Life and Resectability in Locally Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

SQUARE
Start date: April 19, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to assess overall survival, quality of life and resection rates in locally advanced pancreatic cancer

NCT ID: NCT05353582 Not yet recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Preoperative Systemic Therapy for Colorectal Cancer Peritoneal Metastases

Start date: June 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, parallel-group, phase 2 randomized trial which randomizes patients with isolated resectable colorectal cancer peritoneal metastases to receive preoperative systematic therapy followed by CRS+HIPEC and postoperative chemotherapy or upfront CRS+HIPEC followed by postoperative chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT05350930 Completed - Chemotherapy Effect Clinical Trials

Multidisciplinary Care Program to Secure mEdication Therapy for hematoLOgy Patients Receiving Injectable Anticancer Drugs

Melodia
Start date: June 9, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Several experiences of multidisciplinary care pathways associating oncologists, pharmacists and nurses have been reported for cancer patients, with positive results on medication management safety, reduction of Drug-Related Problems (DRPs), and re-hospitalizations. This study aims to evaluate the impact of a multidisciplinary city-hospital follow-up program on medication management safety in haematological oncology patients receiving intravenous chemotherapy in onco-haematology. Additional aspects will be evaluated, such as the impact of the follow-up on the city-hospital link, satisfaction of patients and professionals involved in the follow-up and the use of telecare

NCT ID: NCT05344820 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

The Effect of the Art-based Mandala Intervention on the Quality of Life of Cancer Patients Receiving Chemotherapy

ARQULA
Start date: May 19, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of mandala application on fatigue, quality of life, rumination and alexithymia in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT05326295 Recruiting - Breast Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Treatment Efficacy by Circulating Tumor Cell Phenotype Surveillance in Breast Cancer Patients

Start date: March 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The phenotype of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) is supposed to be significant indicator that is correlated the prognosis of breast cancer patients who have completed neoadjuvant chemotherapy, primary tumor surgery with/without adjuvant chemotherapy. The aim of this observational study is to assess the efficacy of CTCs surveillance in predicting the prognosis of breast cancer patients.

NCT ID: NCT05322889 Recruiting - Neuropathic Pain Clinical Trials

Prevention of Paclitaxel-induced Neuropathic Pain in Patients With Planned Paclitaxel Chemotherapy (PrevTel)

PrevTel
Start date: April 9, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Phase IIa clinical trial will be conducted with patients requiring in-label paclitaxel-chemotherapy due to ovarian or breast cancer. The efficacy of a 12-week telmisartan treatment, starting one week before planned paclitaxel-administration to prevent PIPNP (paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathic pain) will be assessed by measurement of occurrence of clinical symptoms of PIPNP as well as lipid profiles

NCT ID: NCT05318794 Not yet recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Neoadjuvant Systemic and Peritoneal Chemotherapy for Advanced Gastric Cancer

SPECTRA
Start date: November 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Data demonstrating the efficacy of PIPAC in patients with regionally advanced gastric cancer with positive peritoneal cytology and/or minimal peritoneal disease is limited due to the relatively recent development of this technique and its historical preferential use in palliative patients with disseminated peritoneal metastasis. Existing data suggest PIPAC administered every six weeks in conjunction with standard treatment may work as an adjunct to conventional systemic neoadjuvant chemotherapy. PIPAC protocols have been established both for gastric cancer as well as other intra-abdominal malignancies and have a good safety profile. Given these promising findings, a study protocol is proposed herein to further investigate PIPAC for the treatment of a highly selected group of patients with regionally advanced gastric cancer (positive peritoneal cytology and/or minimal peritoneal disease).

NCT ID: NCT05289076 Recruiting - Chemotherapy Effect Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Tumour Growth and Oncological Treatment in Patients With CRLM Using Zebra Fish Embryo Model

CRLM-Z
Start date: May 17, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In order to improve and individualize cancer treatment, personalized treatment needs to be developed much further. Liver metastasizing colorectal cancer is treated with a combination of oncological and surgical interventions. The selection of chemotherapy is today mainly done according to best guess. Today only a small fraction of oncological treatment may be known to be effective in a person before treatment start, most often it is trial and error. A fast reliable system for looking at response to different treatments in each unique patient is much needed and would, if successful, completely change the way we give oncological treatment today. Patient's tumor tissue will be evaluated with use of zebrafish embryo avatars to evaluate tumour growth and response to different combinations of chemotherapy. If successful interventional studies are planned.
