NCT ID: NCT04992728 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Prostate Assessment With Restriction Spectrum Imaging (RSI) MRI

Start date: November 2, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This single-center study will enroll 40 male participants to complete 2 diffusion magnetic resonance images within 30 days of each other.

NCT ID: NCT04989946 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Androgen Deprivation, With or Without pTVG-AR, and With or Without T-Cell Checkpoint Blockade, in Patients With Newly Diagnosed, High-Risk Prostate Cancer

Start date: December 16, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The current protocol will examine the use of a plasmid DNA vaccine encoding AR, alone or with T-cell checkpoint blockade, to induce and/or augment therapeutic T-cells following androgen deprivation in patients with newly diagnosed prostate cancer scheduled to undergo prostatectomy. Patients without evidence of metastatic disease, with tissue remaining from a pre-treatment biopsy, and who are being considered for standard treatment by prostatectomy, will be invited to participate and will be on study for up to 15 months.

NCT ID: NCT04986280 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Diagnostic Accuracy and Performance of 18F-PSMA-1007

Start date: July 13, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Whereas 18F-PSMA-1007 has rapidly established itself as a radiotracer for the investigation of prostate cancer, there are no studies confirming its diagnostic performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the diagnostic performance for this radiotracer.

NCT ID: NCT04985110 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Administration of Antibiotic Prophylaxis for Transperineal Prostate Biopsy in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital

Start date: July 6, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This randomized controlled trial aims to compare the rate of perioperative infection complications in transperineal prostate biopsy between the group that receives prophylactic antibiotic and the group that receives placebo. The types of infection studied included bacteriuria, urinary tract infection (UTI), UTI with fever (febrile UTI), and sepsis. This study hypothesized that the administration of prophylactic antibiotics during transperineal prostate biopsy would result in lower rates of perioperative infection complications.

NCT ID: NCT04984343 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Randomized Trial of Five or Two MRI-Guided Adaptive Radiotherapy Treatments for Prostate Cancer

FORT
Start date: February 11, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The study is a randomized study that compares 5 radiation therapy treatments to 2 radiation therapy treatments in men with low or intermediate-risk prostate cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04983706 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Optimization of the Core Number and Location for Targeted Prostate Biopsy

Start date: July 5, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to investigate the effect of core number and location optimization for targeted prostate biopsy on pathological accuracy.

NCT ID: NCT04982536 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Assessment of VMCore Biopsy Versus Standard of Care Biopsy

Start date: July 19, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Prostate biopsy is the definitive test to establish the diagnosis of prostate cancer. The standard of care biopsy needles do not predictably obtain full cores of tissue and what tissue obtained is often fragmented, making pathologic review a challenge. The VMCore Biopsy System has a geometry in the tip of its biopsy needles that capture more tissue in a single sample. This study is to compare the characteristics of tissue captured by either standard of care needles and the VMCore needle.

NCT ID: NCT04981223 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Predicting Location and Extent of Prostate Cancer Using Micro-Ultrasound Imaging

Start date: April 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to use a clinical micro-ultrasound to systematically image the prostate before biopsy or surgery. The images from the ultrasound system will be saved and compared to other imaging modalities and pathology in order to develop better tools.

NCT ID: NCT04978519 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Effectiveness of Cryotherapy Study for Prostate Cancer

Start date: August 2, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-centre prospective, non-randomized trial to investigate the efficacy of cryotherapy in patients with localized prostate cancer. The aim of study is to investigate the safety profile of cryotherapy in the treatment of prostate cancer and to evaluate the oncological control of prostate cancer by means of cryotherapy focal treatment.

NCT ID: NCT04972097 Active, not recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Pivotal Study of the NanoKnife System for the Ablation of Prostate Tissue

PRESERVE
Start date: March 29, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Pivotal study to evaluate the use of the NanoKnife System as a focal therapy option for prostate cancer patients. This study will assess the safety and effectiveness of the device when used to ablate prostate tissue in intermediate-risk prostate cancer patients.
