NCT ID: NCT05147454 Active, not recruiting - Facial Pain Clinical Trials

MRI & QST Analysis in Trigeminal Neuralgia and Persistent Idiopathic Facial Pain

Start date: November 11, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Patients with a definite diagnosis of classical TGN and PIFP will undergo a structured clinical questionnaire and a trigeminal sensory profile using the quantitative sensory testing. Clinical measures and sensory profiles will be correlated with MRI measures.

NCT ID: NCT04852484 Active, not recruiting - Pain, Postoperative Clinical Trials

Morphine Versus Ketamine as Adjuvants in Paravertebral Blocks

Annie-Dimitr
Start date: April 16, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study will be to compare the effects of morphine versus ketamine when they are used as adjuvants to the local anesthetic in paravertebral nerve blocks performed with the aid of ultrasound. Furthermore, a group of local anesthetic without an adjuvant, will also be compared to the two groups

NCT ID: NCT04795635 Active, not recruiting - Neuropathic Pain Clinical Trials

Axon Therapy for Post-Traumatic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain Compared to Conventional Medical Management

Start date: April 14, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Compare Axon Therapy using transcutaneous magnetic stimulation (tMS) against conventional medical management in treating post-traumatic peripheral neuropathic pain (PTPNP).

NCT ID: NCT04737746 Active, not recruiting - Pain, Chronic Clinical Trials

Caregiver Burden and Correlation With Clinical Outcome in Spinal Cord Stimulation for Chronic Neuropathic Pain

CAREstim
Start date: January 18, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Prospective multicentric observational trial on caregiver burden, caregiver satisfaction and clinical outcome in spinal cord stimulation for chronic neuropathic pain.

NCT ID: NCT04614454 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Neuromyelitis Optica

High Frequency Impulse Therapy for Neuropathic Pain in NMOSD

Start date: June 7, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to determine whether self-administered, at-home use of a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulating device is an effective, acceptable and feasible method of relief from neuropathic pain among patients with Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD).

NCT ID: NCT04479787 Active, not recruiting - Neuropathic Pain Clinical Trials

Spinal Cord Stimulation vs. Medical Management for Low Back Pain (DISTINCT)

Start date: July 31, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of BurstDR dorsal column stimulation, compared with conventional medical management, in improving pain and back-related physical function in subjects suffering with chronic, refractory axial low back pain with a neuropathic component, who have not had lumbar spine surgery and for whom surgery is not an option.

NCT ID: NCT04379011 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Spinal Cord Injuries

Brivaracetam to Reduce Neuropathic Pain in Chronic Spinal Cord Injury

Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is associated with severe neuropathic pain that is often refractory to all pharmacological intervention. Preliminary data suggest brivarecetum is a mechanism-based pharmacological intervention for neuropathic pain in SCI. This randomized, placebo-controlled pilot clinical trial will assess feasibility of a 3-month treatment course with brivarecetum.

NCT ID: NCT04238793 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Lumbosacral Radiculopathy

Single Ascending Doses Study of KLS-2031 in Subjects With Neuropathic Pain From Lumbosacral Radiculopathy

Start date: March 10, 2020
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Escalating single-dose design study to determine the safety, tolerability, and analgesic activity of KLS-2031

NCT ID: NCT04235478 Active, not recruiting - Pain, Neuropathic Clinical Trials

Effect of the Cervical Interlaminar Epidural Steroid Injection on Quality of Life, Pain and Disability

Start date: December 27, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the effect of cervical interlaminar epidural steroid injections on the neuropathic pain, quality of life and disability patients with cervical radiculopathy. After the clinical and MRG evaluations of patients with neck and arm pain, injection was given to eligible patients. Patients undergone the procedure were evaluated before and after injection for neuropathic pain, quality of life and disability.

NCT ID: NCT04198714 Active, not recruiting - Surgery Clinical Trials

Pudendal Nerve Block in Vaginal Surgery

Start date: August 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this this randomized controlled study is to determine whether a pudendal nerve block at the time of vaginal surgery is associated with improved postoperative pain control and decrease opioid consumption compared to a sham pudendal nerve block in patients undergoing vaginal surgery.
