NCT ID: NCT06425575 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome

Resolution of Pudendal Neuralgia in Chronic Pelvic Pain Using a Novel Biologic Therapy

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This goal of this study is to determine whether a novel biologic, i.e., an "amniotic suspension allograft" (ASA) will reduce pain and improve quality of life (QoL) in women stricken with chronic pelvic pain (CPP). The main questions it aims to answer are: - Weather pain in the genitalia is reduced with treatment - Weather bladder or urination pain is reduced with treatment - Weather any adverse events occur following treatment Patient responses to pain and QoL will be collected before and 6-12 months after treatment.

NCT ID: NCT06353100 Active, not recruiting - Chronic Pain Clinical Trials

Chronic Pain in the General Population of Chile

RDC
Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The present study seeks to follow up the cohort of adults representative of Chile's urban population whose levels of chronic pain were evaluated in March 2023 (baseline) as part of the Mental Health Thermometer (MHT) study. The study consists of a 12 month follow-up telephone interview to assess parameters of chronic pain (CP) and subtypes, mental and physical health, lifestyle and adversity and work characteristics. The study objectives are as follows: 1. Estimate the prevalence of CP and subtypes in the general population 2. Explore the association between mental health indicators, perceived work stress and presence of CP in the population. 3. Investigate the impact of CP (functional, occupational and social) among the subset of participants reporting CP 4. Describe the use of management strategies in those who suffer from CP.

NCT ID: NCT06338059 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Vitamin D Deficiency

Relationship Between Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 Levels and Neuropathic Pain in Lipedema

Start date: March 1, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Lipedema is a disease characterized by bilateral abnormal fat deposition in the upper and lower extremities. Pain is a common symptom in lipedema.Vitamin D plays an important role in chronic pain. Vitamin B have analgesic role in some neuropathic pain conditions. This study aimedto evaluate the relationship between vitamin D and vitamin B12 levels and neuropathic pain in lipedema.

NCT ID: NCT06241820 Active, not recruiting - Chronic Pain Clinical Trials

The Success of Lumbar Sympathetic Ganglion Block Using Lower Extremity Perfusion Index

Start date: February 13, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The patient, who is experiencing chronic pain in the lower extremities persisting for more than three months, is scheduled to undergo lumbar sympathetic ganglion block. To evaluate the technical success of the sympathetic blockade, temperature and perfusion index (PI) will be measured at one-minute intervals over a 20-minute period before and after the procedure on the treated side and the opposite side foot. Additionally, other variables related to the procedure will be assessed before the procedure, after the procedure, before discharge, and during follow-up outpatient visits or phone surveys at 1 week and 1 month after the procedure.

NCT ID: NCT06232486 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Postherpetic Neuralgia

Relationship Between Serum Vitamin D Levels and Postherpetic Neuralgia.

Start date: December 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

1. The correlations of serum vitamin D level, serum calcium level and osteoporosis degree with disease severity, treatment response, incidence of Post-Herpes zoster(PHN) and disease prognosis in Herpes zoster(HZ) patients were studied. 2. To investigate the role of inflammation-related factors and immune-related factors in the occurrence and development of HZ mediated by low vitamin D level.

NCT ID: NCT05914558 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Temporomandibular Disorder

Comorbid Painful TMD Among Trigeminal Neuralgia

TNTMD
Start date: August 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

An observational study following up with trigeminal neuralgia patients to understand their comorbid facial pain condition, specifically temporomandibular disorder.

NCT ID: NCT05890053 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Peripheral Neuropathic Pain

To Evaluate the Long-term Safety and Efficacy of HSK16149 in Chinese Patients With Peripheral Neuralgia

Start date: February 17, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Investigate the long-term(52 weeks) safety and efficacy of HSK16149 capsules in Chinese patients with periphcral neuralgia

NCT ID: NCT05837923 Active, not recruiting - Pain Clinical Trials

Radicle Relief 2: A Study of Health and Wellness Products on Pain and Health Outcomes

Start date: March 28, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study assessing the impact of health and wellness products on pain and other health outcomes

NCT ID: NCT05831059 Active, not recruiting - Diabetic Foot Clinical Trials

A Sympathetic Ganglion, High-voltage Pulsed Radiofrequency Ablation of Peripheral Neuralgia

Start date: December 12, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The Sham Operation Group was used as control, the patients were assessed with the Digital Rating Scale (NRS) , the quality of life-related scale (Euro Qol) , clinical outcome measures: physician's overall impression of changes in pain (CGIC) and patient's overall impression change scale (PGIC) , skin temperature measurement, toe Oxygenation measurement, and anxiety and depression scores (Gad-7, Phq-9) , objective: to evaluate the efficacy and safety of high voltage pulsed radiofrequency in the treatment of peripheral neuralgia in patients with diabetic foot.

Teleconsultations Hypnosis Sessions for Patients With Peripheral Chronic Neuropathic Pain

HYPTEC
Start date: February 23, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to assess the feasibility of hypnosis sessions performed in teleconsultations and led by a nurse, for patients with peripheral chronic neuropathic pain. Acceptability, satisfaction and effects (on pain and psychological distress) are also evaluated, comparing patients who have benefited from teleconsultations and those who did not.
