Filter by:The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of itraconazole, a strong inhibitor)of cytochrome P4503A , and phenytoin a strong inducer of cytochrome P450 3A, CYP3A4, CYP1A2 and CYP2C19 on the pharmacokinetics of ASC41, a THR beta agonist tables in healthy subjects. The PK, Safety and Tolerability of ASC 41 in Subjects with NAFLD will also be evaluated. Approximately 24 subjects including 16 healthy volunteers (HVs) and 8 subjects with NAFLD will be enrolled. This study consists of 3 cohorts.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of JNJ-68179280 compared with placebo after administration of single ascending oral doses of JNJ-68179280 administered to healthy participants (Part 1), multiple ascending oral doses of JNJ-68179280, administered to healthy participants once daily (Cohorts 1 through 4) or twice daily (Cohort 5) over 14 consecutive days (Part 2) and multiple ascending oral doses of an alternative JNJ-68179280 formulation, administered to healthy participants once daily over 14 consecutive days (Part 3 if conducted).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relative bioavailability and food effect of a single dose of milvexian administered as direct compression (DC) oral tablets and roller compacted (RC) oral tablets compared with milvexian administered as Phase 2 oral capsules (Part 1) and of new concept tablets consisting of a single dose of milvexian administered as oral Tablet 1 and Tablet 2 compared with milvexian administered as Phase 2 oral capsules (Part 3) in healthy participants under fasting and fed conditions; to characterize the pharmacokinetics (PK) of multiple twice daily (BID) doses for 5 days of milvexian administered as DC oral tablets and Phase 2 oral capsules in healthy participants (Part 2) and to assess the effects of dosing time and food timing on the PK of single-dose of milvexian Phase 3 oral tablet formulation in healthy participants (Part 4) and to evaluate the relative bioavailability of a single dose of milvexian administered as oral film-coated DC whole tablets, oral film-coated DC tablets dispersed in water and then mixed with apple sauce, and oral film-coated DC tablets dispersed in water and administered as a suspension using a nasogastric (NG) tube in healthy participants under fasting conditions (Part 5).
The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety and tolerability of JNJ-67835989 versus placebo after single (or divided) oral dose administration (ascending dose levels) in healthy participants, pharmacokinetics (PK) of JNJ-67835989 in plasma and urine after single (or divided) oral dose administration in healthy participants, effects of JNJ-67835989 following single (or divided) oral dose administration in healthy participants on cardiovascular parameters, effects of JNJ-67835989 following single (or divided) oral dose administration on dissociative symptoms in healthy participants, and sedative effects of JNJ-67835989 following single (or divided) oral dose administration in healthy participants.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of itraconazole (a strong inhibitor of cytochrome P450 3A (CYP3A)) and rifampicin (a strong inducer of CYP3A) on the pharmacokinetics of ASC40 in healthy volunteers.
This study will allow researchers to explore how muscle responds to heavy exercise. The researchers will characterise rates of muscle protein breakdown and synthesis 24hours after heavy exercise with a post exercise protein polyphenol or placebo supplementation. This will inform strategies to help people recover from heavy exercise.
The main purpose of this study is to look at the amount of the study drug, lebrikizumab, that gets into the blood stream and how long it takes the body to get rid of lebrikizumab (LY3650150) when given using either a pre-filled autoinjector (AI) or a pre-filled syringe with needle safety device (PFS-NSD). The safety and tolerability of lebrikizumab will also be evaluated. The study will last up to 102 days.
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the amount of LY3484356 that is found in the blood stream and how long the body takes to get rid of it when given with and without food. Participants are healthy females of non-childbearing potential. The study will also evaluate the tolerability and safety of LY3484356 by collecting the information about any side effects that may occur. The participant's involvement with the study will last approximately 27 days, not including screening.
Develop a game-based upper-extremity motor and cognitive rehabilitation system using custom and adaptable virtual reality simulations. Perform usability study on 2 elderly healthy volunteers and 2 breast cancer survivors with lasting cognitive impairments following chemotherapy, so to improve the product design. The usability evaluation will be done at NJ Bioscience Center (North Brunswick, NJ).
The objective is to determine the prevalence of visual dysfunction in People with Parkinson's Disease (PwP). The investigators will administer the: Visual Impairment in Parkinson's Disease Screen and Revised-Self-Report Assessment of Functional Visual Performance. Patients seen at Fixel Institute and their caregivers will be invited to participate. Responses to the 2 questionnaires will help determine prevalence rates of visual dysfunction in PwP compared to those both with and without other neurological conditions.
