NCT ID: NCT04656301 Completed - Clinical trials for Body Dysmorphic Disorders

Safety and Efficacy of Psilocybin for Body Dysmorphic Disorder

Start date: February 26, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this pilot study 12 adult outpatients with body dysmorphic disorder that has not responded to at least one adequate trial of a serotonin reuptake inhibitor will be treated openly with a single oral dose of psilocybin. Followup visits to monitor safety and clinical outcome will be conducted over a 3 month period.

NCT ID: NCT04656132 Completed - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Diseases

PAVS in Cardiology

Start date: July 14, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Brief Summary This is a pilot study implemented physical activity assessment, promotion and monitoring in patients. Patients will be assessed by the physical activity vital sign (PAVS) during check-in for their appointment. During their visit with the cardiologist, a clinical decision support tool will alert the cardiologist to patients achieving low (<50% of recommended) physical activity. The cardiologist may refer the patient to cardiac rehabilitation if appropriate and/or counsel them to increase their physical activity levels. The patients may opt to enroll in the monitoring phase of the study. They will be given a Fitbit pedometer and their Fitbit account can sync to their MyChart account. After that sync, the patients step counts will be available for their cardiologists to review as needed.

NCT ID: NCT04656093 Completed - Hypertension Clinical Trials

Healthy Mediation Adherence To Transform and Effectively Relieve Symptoms

Start date: January 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of the parent R01 study has been to determine how beliefs about chronic illness and their treatments affect SMB in the context of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with comorbid hypertension (HTN) and or diabetes (DM). The educational counseling modules the study team plans to pilot test are rooted in the Self-Regulation Model (SRM), a theory of health behaviors that has been used to develop interventions, but has only been applied to research on behaviors around single diseases.

This study will determine the safety and potential effectiveness of a digital health platform aimed at improving treatment outcomes for patients with depression by assisting physicians with clinical decision making about depression treatment.

NCT ID: NCT04655898 Completed - Healthy Volunteer Clinical Trials

Metabolism and Excretion of [14C]CC-90001 in Healthy Male Subjects

Start date: December 16, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a clinical pharmacology study to characterize the biotransformation and excretion of [14C]CC-90001 and to evaluate the safety and tolerability of [14C]CC-90001 following a single oral dose of [14C]CC-90001 in healthy male subjects. Approximately 8 subjects will be enrolled into the study with a goal of 6 subjects being eligible for analysis.

Assessing Safety, Hospitalization and Efficacy of rNAPc2 in COVID-19

ASPEN
Start date: December 10, 2020
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Sequential randomized, multicenter, active comparator study to evaluate the hypothesis that rNAPc2 (AB201), a novel, potent and highly selective tissue factor inhibitor with anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory and potential antiviral properties, shortens time to recovery compared to heparin in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 and elevated D-dimer levels.

NCT ID: NCT04655313 Completed - Psoriasis Clinical Trials

NCT ID: NCT04655131 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 1

Effect of Protein Intake on Post Prandial Hyperglycemia in Children and Adolescents With Type1 Diabetes Mellitus

Start date: June 18, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, patients receive insulin doses if they consume specific amounts of carbohydrates. Currently, insulin is not being administered for consumption of protein although studies in adults show that consuming about 75 grams of protein causes elevation in post prandial glucose levels and might need insulin coverage. We are proposing that this amount is different for kids and it might vary based on weight, age, pubertal stage, HbA1C or other factors. This has not been studied in children before, and it will provide information about the amount of protein in the diet that can cause elevation in post prandial glucose.
