NCT ID: NCT06079762 Active, not recruiting - Aging Clinical Trials

AGE SELF CARE: Promoting Healthy Aging Through a Group Visit Program

Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aim 1: To assess the feasibility and acceptability of delivering AGE SELF CARE through virtual medical group visits by measuring recruitment rate, adherence, and participant satisfaction. Hypothesis 1: It will be feasible to recruit 12 older adults who are pre-frail. Hypothesis 2: At least 70% of participants will attend 6 of 8 group visit sessions. Hypothesis 3: At least 70% of participants will report satisfaction with the program. Aim 2: Determine the feasibility and burden of measuring frailty in this study by different instruments. Hypothesis 1: At least 70% of participants will complete portions of all frailty assessments. Hypothesis 2: Participants will not find testing to be burdensome and measures may be completed in 60 minutes or less. Hypothesis 3: Mean gait speed and frailty index will improve from baseline to post-intervention.

NCT ID: NCT06079164 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Relapsed/Refractory Large B-cell Lymphoma

Study of KITE-197 in Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Large B-cell Lymphoma

Start date: November 9, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study will have two Phases: Phase 1a and Phase 1b. The goal of Phase 1a of this clinical study is to learn more about the safety, tolerability and dosing of study drug KITE-197, in participants with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma (r/rLBCL). The goal of Phase 1b of this clinical study is learn about the effectiveness of the recommended dose of KITE-197 in participants with r/r LBCL. The primary objectives of this study are: Phase 1a: To evaluate the safety of KITE-197 in participants with r/r LBCL and determine the target dose level for Phase 1b. Phase 1b: To evaluate the efficacy of KITE-197 in participants with r/r LBCL as measured by the complete remission (CR) rate.

NCT ID: NCT06078774 Active, not recruiting - Obesity, Pediatric Clinical Trials

Redesigning Pediatric Primary Care Obesity Treatment: Virtual House Calls

Start date: January 24, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study examines a redesign of pediatric primary care overweight/obesity treatment, augmenting typical in-person visits with: (1) direct-to-patient video telehealth to tailor counseling advice to families, (2) that leverages certified health coaches as a part of the care team, and (3) creates skills building in real-time within the home environment.

NCT ID: NCT06078280 Active, not recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Feasibility and Efficacy Study of the CardioPulmonary Management (CPM) System in Patients With Chronic Heart Failure (BETA)

Start date: September 27, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The primary purpose for this study is to support the hypothesis (pilot data) that the use of the CardioPumonary Management (CPM) system reduces the rate of heart failure (HF) related events and the related healthcare cost. The study will also measure the impact on quality of care and patient satisfaction. In order to support the primary objective, the study will compare the outcomes and costs for patients using the CPM system against those who are not. This can either be done using institutions averages, if available, or through a control group.

NCT ID: NCT06077149 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

Immunogenicity of RSV Vaccines in Residents of Long-Term Care Facilities (LTCF)

Start date: November 7, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial is studying the newly licensed RSV vaccines in adults over age 60 years living in long-term care facilities (nursing homes) by comparing the immune response to their vaccine to adults over age 60 years living in the community.

NCT ID: NCT06076304 Active, not recruiting - Acute Sinusitis Clinical Trials

Nasal Steroids, Irrigation, Oral Antibiotics, and Subgroup Targeting for Effective Management of Sinusitis

NOSES
Start date: November 21, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Sinus infections are sometimes treated with antibiotics or nasal sprays, while some patients get better on their own. Some patients may wait a few days or use common over-the-counter remedies to see if their symptoms improve without further treatment. The overall goal of this clinical trial to see which patients with sinus infections are more likely to respond to different treatments, and which improve with supportive care alone.

NCT ID: NCT06074926 Active, not recruiting - Pediatric Obesity Clinical Trials

Promoting Food Acceptance Through Positive Parenting: the Play and Grow Study

Start date: October 30, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Approximately one half of adults and one-fifth of children have obesity, including 14% of 2-5-year-olds. Early obesity prevention is essential as children who are overweight by age 5 are at increased risk for later obesity. Dietary intake is inextricably linked to weight status, and the majority of young children fail to meet intake recommendations, with socioeconomically disadvantaged and racial/ethnic minority children at increased risk of poor diet quality. However, children's liking of healthier foods predicts their intake, and children can learn to like healthier foods via experience. The current study brings together evidence from the parenting and learning literatures to: 1) examine effects of a novel learning strategy leveraging positive parent-child interactions on 3-5-year-old children's vegetable acceptance and dietary intake, as well as to explore 2) individual differences in learning strategy effects.

NCT ID: NCT06074627 Active, not recruiting - Fatigue Clinical Trials

Radicle Energy2: A Study of Health and Wellness Products on Fatigue and Other Health Outcomes

Start date: September 26, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study assessing the impact of health and wellness products on fatigue and other health outcomes

NCT ID: NCT06074601 Active, not recruiting - Preterm Birth Clinical Trials

MIRACLE of LIFE Study

MoL
Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to develop and validate cell-free RNA-based biomarkers for predicting a variety of adverse pregnancy outcomes in a pregnant person population. The main question it aims to answer are: 1. Can cell-free RNA-based biomarkers predict which pregnant people are at greatest risk of developing adverse pregnancy outcomes (e.g., preterm birth, preeclampsia)? 2. What is the performance of such biomarkers when predicting an adverse pregnancy outcome (e.g., sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, TPR)?
