There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this clinical trial is to see if combining a licensed COVID-19 vaccine and a licensed influenza vaccine into a single shot is safe and can help produce antibodies to defend the body against both SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) and influenza. Participants enrolled in this trial will be healthy adults, 50 years of age or older.
The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of a personal care product on vaginal health in individuals with a self-reported history of vaginal discomforts such as malodor, bothersome discharge, itching, irritation, and dryness. The personal care product, VH-01 contains a prebiotic and three distinct strains of Lactobacillus crispatus, a microbe commonly found in healthy vaginal microbiomes. The study will be a randomized, placebo-controlled trial where the test product will be compared to a placebo in a 2:1 manner. Participants will be asked to complete online questionnaires and provide vaginal samples to assess microbial communities. The aims of this study are to assess: 1. The user experience and acceptability of VH-01 vaginal suppository vs. placebo. 2. Attitudes and perceptions of VH-01 vaginal suppository usage vs. placebo. 3. Health-related quality of life during the use of VH-01 vaginal suppository vs. placebo. 4. Changes in self-perceived vaginal discomforts during the use of VH-01 vaginal suppository vs. placebo.

There is no granular retrospective data on breast cancer in transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) persons from a contemporary and diverse American cohort. The purpose of this investigation is to aggregate data from multiple institutions to describe the risk, diagnosis, management, and outcomes of TGD persons with breast cancer in effort to identify opportunities for future intervention studies to eliminate breast cancer disparities for this population.
Recovery Resource Council (RRC) is one of the largest and most comprehensive non-profit mental and behavioral healthcare providers in North Texas. Accredited by the Joint Commission in Behavioral Health and licensed by the State of Texas as an Outpatient Treatment Center, RRC strives to promote wellness and recovery through a variety of services and programming. An important component of RRC programming is providing free counseling services to hundreds of U.S. veterans annually. While RRC observes great success for veterans who complete counseling, attendance can be a major obstacle. Veterans who approach RRC for individual counseling services and consent to participate will be randomly assigned to the treatment or control group. The control group will receive counseling as usual. The treatment group will receive $500 gift card payments upon completing their 6th, 12th, and 18th counseling sessions, i.e., $1,500 in gift cards for completing all 18 sessions, the usual prescribed length of therapy. Our primary focus is to examine the impact of the financial incentives on therapy attendance and attrition. In addition, the investigators will estimate the impact on mental health using mental health inventories collected over the course of therapy sessions.
The research will study the effectiveness of mindfulness protocols for OT students to decrease stress and re-engage in meaningful occupations after becoming disengaged.
The purpose of this study is to determine the Effects of KP-001 on Metformin (a substrate of MATE1) and Midazolam (a substrate of CYP3A4) Pharmacokinetics and the Effect of Clarithromycin (potent CYP3A4/P-gp Inhibitor) on KP-001 Pharmacokinetics in Healthy Adult Participants. The study will also evaluate the safety and tolerability of KP-001 with and without a single dose or multiple doses of an interaction drug. The study comprises 3 parts. Participants will stay in the Clinical Unit during the study, depending on which part they assigned to. Participants will remain at the clinical site for a 13 day/12 night in-house stay (Part 1), a 14 day/13 night in house stay (Part 2), or a 11 day/10 night in-house stay (Part 3).
The overall objective of this three-arm randomized controlled trial is to compare a dietary fiber-focused behavioral intervention to standard weight loss education for improving eating-related behavior and cognition, weight, and metabolic markers of chronic disease risk in a population of adults with obesity.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of VX-993 at different doses in healthy participants.
