There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Cardiovascular diseases are a leading cause of death worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases constitute 1/3 of all causes of death. Myocardial infarction (MI) is an irreversible myocardial necrosis due to prolonged ischemia. Patients with MI are candidates for cardiac rehabilitation (CR). American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines recommend exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation and suggest exercise to add to patients' routine treatment. When the literature on patients with MI is examined, various exercise programs are seen. The aims of present study is investigating and comparing the effectiveness of intermittent exercise training and aerobic exercise training programs in patients with MI.
Zinc d vitamin and b12 serum levels in covid-19 positive pregnants will be compared in terms of patients' responses to computed tomography and treatment.
The study will investigate to verify whether pediatric dentists could determine chewing performance level by using Karaduman Chewing Performance Scale in children.
Trefoil factor family (TFF) consists of a group of small peptides that have key roles in host immune response and repair of tissue damage. Interleukin (IL)-1β is a regulatory proinflammatory cytokine in periodontal inflammation. This study aimed to investigate the levels of TFF-1, TFF-3 and IL-1β in gingival crevicular fluid (GCF), saliva and serum of patients with gingivitis, stage 3 periodontitis and healthy individuals.
A single dose of Reference product containing 200 mg favipiravir and a single dose of Test product containing 200 mg favipiravir or vice versa; administered with 240 mL of water at room temperature, in each period under fasting conditions with current pandemic precautions.
Hemophilia is a rare hematological disorder characterized by a partial or complete deficiency of clotting factor VIII or IX.Bleeding disorders mainly affect the musculoskeletal system. Intra-articular bleeding is an important complication related to hemophilia and usually occurs in large synovial joints such as knees and ankles. Initially, these bleeds occur non-specific spontaneously and usually affect one joint, and repeated bleeding makes that joint a target joint. Postural balance can be defined as the ability to maintain a stable posture for maximum duration with minimal body sway, or to hold the body centre of gravity (CoG) over its base support in varying conditions (1). Somatosensorial information from mechanoreceptors, visual and vestibular receptors is required to maintain postural balance. Postural balance is tried to be controlled by the postural adjustments provided by the contraction of the lower limb muscles and trunk muscles before perturbation. Spontaneous hemarthrosis is a distinctive feature of severe haemophilia, and that recurrent bleedings may likely to cause postural balance disorders by disrupting proprioceptive inputs from mechanoreceptors in the joint. Data on how bleeding affects postural balance in children with hemophilia is unclear. In the relationship between the clinical evaluation of hemophilia and postural balance, there is little research in the literature.

This study aims to explore the effects of Task-Oriented Training (TOT) on occupational performance, activities of daily living and fatigue of children in pediatric oncology clinic. Hypothesis: There is no effect of TOT on occupational performance and satisfaction in children with childhood cancer. There is no effect of TOT on functional independence in daily living activities in children with childhood cancer. There is no effect of TOT on fatigue levels in children with childhood cancer.
Myofascial pain syndrome is a common chronic disease characterized by pain and tenderness in one or more muscle groups. It is characterized by myofascial trigger points that are felt as a band or a nodule harder than normal consistency located in the muscle. Myofascial trigger points are developes as a result of muscle injury ; this can be acute trauma caused by sport injury, accident, or chronic muscle overuse by repetitive occupational activities, emotional stress or poor posture. Trigger point injection is the application of low dose local anesthetic drug into the trigger point. Its main purpose is to weaken the trigger point caused by muscle spasm. However, it may reduce pain partially or have a short duration of action, so it may need to be repeated several times at regular intervals.Trigger point injection can reach trigger points in superficial muscles With the erector spina plane block technique, more effective and long-term pain treatment can be achieved by reaching deeper trigger points. With this hypothesis, we aimed to investigate the contribution of the erector spina plane block to trigger point injection in the treatment of myofascial pain.
Smoking, anxiety and pain are clearly related conditions. We aimed to reveal the relationship between smoking cessation before surgery and preoperative anxiety, postoperative anxiety and pain in chronic smokers. METHODS ASA I-II group patients without chronic disease and history of drug use were included in the study. Those who did not want to participate in the study, patients with ASA III and above were excluded from the study. The patients were randomized into 2 groups: smokers (Group S, n = 60) and non-smokers (Group NS, n = 60). Group S was asked to quit smoking 2 weeks before the operation. Preoperative period and postoperative 0, 2, 4. And 6. hour Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) values, postop 0., 2., 4., 6. hour Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) values were recorded.
