NCT ID: NCT05137132 Active, not recruiting - Asthma Clinical Trials

Unrefined Salmon Oil as Dietary Supplement in Adult Asthmatics

Start date: April 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Research has over decades showed that marine food carries nutritional characteristics that promote human health. As seen in epidemiological studies and based on in vitro and in vivo studies, it is hypothesized that unrefined salmon oil as dietary supplement have anti-inflammatory effect. However, there is sufficient preliminary data to indicate bioactive compounds effect for clinical use, and further clinical trials investigating effect are needed. This trial will investigate the potential anti-inflammatory effect in adults diagnosed with asthma.

NCT ID: NCT05135923 Recruiting - Celiac Disease Clinical Trials

Glutenfree, Gut Microbiota and Metabolic Regulation

GRAIN
Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

High intake of dietary fiber provides health benefits and reduces the risk of developing cardio-metabolic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiovascular disease (CVD). The intake of fiber is below the recommendations worldwide. In Norway, bread and cereals represent a major source of fiber. A low fiber intake is evident for people with celiac disease due to the removal of wheat, rye and barley from the diet. We therefore need to increase our knowledge in relation to fiber-rich food that will be tolerated also by people with celiac disease. The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of fiber rich gluten free products on blood glucose levels compared to benchmark gluten free products.

NCT ID: NCT05135897 Recruiting - Healthy Clinical Trials

The Neurobiological Fundaments of Depression and Its Relief Through Neurostimulation Treatments

FundECT
Start date: September 27, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study will apply state of the art radiology through advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques to investigate structural and functional brain effects of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS).

NCT ID: NCT05135559 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Haemophilia A and B With and Without Inhibitors

A Research Study on How Well Concizumab Works for You if You Have Haemophilia A or B With or Without Inhibitors

Explorer10
Start date: March 24, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will test how well a new medicine called concizumab works for participants who have haemophilia A or B with or without inhibitors. The purpose is to show that concizumab can prevent bleeds and is safe to use. Participants will have to inject the study medicine every day under the skin with a pen-injector. The study will last for at least 2 years and up to about 4 years. The length of time the participant will be in the study depends on if the study medicine will be available for purchase in their country.

NCT ID: NCT05130450 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome

A Study of Olezarsen (Formerly Known as AKCEA-APOCIII-LRx) in Participants With Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS)

Start date: November 18, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of olezarsen (formerly known as AKCEA-APOCIII-LRx) on the percent change in fasting triglycerides (TG) from baseline.

NCT ID: NCT05130294 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Unrefined Salmon Oil as Dietary Supplement in Patient With Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Start date: July 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Research has over decades showed that marine food carries nutritional characteristics that promote human health. As seen in epidemiological studies and based on in vitro and in vivo studies, it is hypothesized that unrefined salmon oil as dietary supplement have anti-inflammatory effect. However, there is sufficient preliminary data to indicate bioactive compounds effect for clinical use, and further clinical trials investigating effect are needed. This trial will investigate the potential anti-inflammatory effect and reduction in the risk of cardio artery disease in patients diagnosed with chronic obstructive disease, COPD.

NCT ID: NCT05130099 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

A Complex Intervention for Chronically Fatigued Lymphoma Survivors

Start date: November 20, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The present study is a randomized controlled trial (RCT) with an overall objective to examine the effect of an interdisciplinary complex intervention on the level of fatigue in lymphoma survivors with chronic fatigue. Secondary aims are to examine the effects of the intervention on daily functioning, work status/ability, physical fitness and QoL among the survivors, on QoL of their relatives and on the societal costs. The intervention will last for 12+12 weeks and include four components; patient education, supervised physical exercise, cognitive behavioral program and nutritional counselling. Outcomes will be assessed at baseline,post-intervention (12 weeks after baseline) and at 3-month, 6-month, 12-month and 24-month follow-up after completed intervention.

NCT ID: NCT05129787 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Colorectal Cancer Metastatic

Ablation vs Resection of Colorectal Cancer Liver Metastases

NEW-COMET
Start date: December 16, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

230 patients with colorectal cancer liver metastases will be randomly assigned to resection or thermal ablation.

NCT ID: NCT05129449 Terminated - Clinical trials for Cholangiopancreatography, Endoscopic Retrograde

A Clinical Study With the Medical Device PowerSpiral for Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP)

SAMISEN-B
Start date: January 17, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of the SAMISEN study phase B is to assess the performance and safety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with the Olympus Motorized Spiral Enteroscope (PowerSpiral) in subjects with surgically altered gastrointestinal anatomy indicated for an Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP).

NCT ID: NCT05129358 Completed - Dehydration Clinical Trials

Testing of an Electronic Patch During Mild Dehydration

Start date: May 30, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate the ability of a wearable bioimpedance sensor to detect mild dehydration in healthy volunteers following the administration of Furosemide. In addition, the study will investigate changes in bioimpedance related to normal variation in tissue hydration (circadian changes, skin thickness, posture, and moderate activity). The study will also provide information on the durability of the sensor.
