NCT ID: NCT04573660 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Myocardial Infarction

Abbott Vascular Medical Device Registry

AV-MDR
Start date: October 25, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The AV-MDR is a prospective, non-randomized, open-label, multi-center registry. The purpose of the AV-MDR study is to proactively collect and evaluate clinical data on the usage of the devices in scope within their intended use with the aim of confirming safety and performance throughout their expected lifetime, ensuring the continued acceptability of identified risks, detecting emerging risks on the basis of factual evidence, ensuring the continued acceptability of the benefit-risk ratio, and identifying possible systematic misuse or off-label usage such that the intended use can be verified as appropriate.

NCT ID: NCT04572854 Active, not recruiting - Renal Transplant Clinical Trials

Study Assessing the Safety and Efficacy of Pegcetacoplan in Post-Transplant Recurrence of C3G or IC-MPGN

NOBLE
Start date: February 23, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2, multicenter, open-label, randomized, controlled study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of pegcetacoplan in patients who have post-transplant recurrence of C3G or IC-MPGN.

NCT ID: NCT04571840 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Prostate Imaging Using MRI +/- Contrast Enhancement

PRIME
Start date: April 5, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This prospective clinical trial (PRostate Imaging using Mri +/- contrast Enhancement (PRIME)) aims to assess whether biparametric MRI (bpMRI) is non-inferior to multiparametric mpMRI (mpMRI) in the detection of clinically significant prostate cancer. This means that we are comparing MRI scans that requires injection of IV contrast (the current standard practice) versus MRI scans that can be performed without IV contrast in the detection of prostate cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04569006 Recruiting - Atherosclerosis Clinical Trials

Multi-contrast Versus Multi-sequence Carotid MRI

Start date: April 8, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this study is to validate 2 multi-contrast sequences, namely the Multi-contrast ATherosclerosis Characterization (MATCH) and Bright-blood and black-blOOd phase SensiTive (BOOST) inversion recovery sequence for the quantification of atherosclerotic plaque components with conventional multi-sequence MRI and histology.

NCT ID: NCT04568434 Completed - Clinical trials for Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome

A Study of Olezarsen (Formerly Known as AKCEA-APOCIII-LRx) Administered to Patients With Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS)

BALANCE
Start date: November 16, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of Olezarsen as compared to placebo on the percent change in fasting triglycerides (TG) from baseline.

NCT ID: NCT04568174 Terminated - Anti-MAG Neuropathy Clinical Trials

First in Human Study to Test the Safety and Preliminary Efficacy of PPSGG in Patients With Anti-MAG Neuropathy

Start date: November 17, 2020
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this study, the new drug called PPSGG (PN-1007) will be tested. Preliminary studies conducted in animals suggest PPSGG (PN-1007) might be a good treatment for reducing levels of anti-MAG antibodies in patients with anti-MAG neuropathy. This is the first research of PPSGG (PN-1007) in people and its main purpose is to test its safety and acceptability in patients. In this study it will be examined how the drug is changed by and removed from the body and checked for signs that the drug may be truly effective against anti-MAG neuropathy. PPSGG (PN-1007) will be tested at several different doses.

NCT ID: NCT04567316 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

A Study in Healthy Men to Test How BI 1358894 is Taken up and Handled by the Body

Start date: October 19, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of this trial is to investigate the basic pharmacokinetics of BI 1358894 and its metabolites, total radioactivity, including mass balance, excretion pathways and metabolism following a single oral dose of [14C] BI 1358894 in Part 1 and to investigate the pharmacokinetics of BI 1358894 and its metabolite(s) following multiple-dose treatment over 21 days with non- radiolabelled compound of BI 1358894 in Part 2.

NCT ID: NCT04565418 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

Exercise to Restore 24h Rhythms in Metabolism

RESTORE
Start date: January 26, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will investigate the effect of exercise training on 24h rhythms in substrate metabolism in overweight subjects with impaired glucose tolerance. Subjects will perform exercise training for 12 weeks. Before and after the exercise period, they will be admitted to research facilities for 45 hours to assess 24h rhythms in substrate metabolism. In a single-arm longitudinal design, subjects will serve as their own control.
