Time Restricted Fasting and Aerobic Exercise Interventions Among Sedentary Adults

Start date: February 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This project will determine the independent and combined effects of aerobic exercise and time restricted fasting on cardiovascular risks among sedentary middle-aged and elderly adults. The online intervention period will be eight weeks. Before and after the intervention, arterial stiffness, cardiac autonomic nervous, body composition, glucolipid metabolism, sleep and eating habits, inflammatory reaction, sedentary behavior and physical activity level will be measured and compared between groups who are doing either aerobic exercise, time restricted fasting, both aerobic exercise and time restricted fasting, or who are in a control group. Adverse reaction, sleep and eating quality, life quality and adherence to the interventions and hunger/satiety will also be measured.

NCT ID: NCT05864924 Completed - Clinical trials for EBV-positive Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

A Phase 1 Study of BRG01 in Subjects With Relapsed/Metastatic Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV)-Positive Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Start date: May 10, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Phase 1 study evaluating the safety and efficacy of BRG01 in subjects with relapsed/ metastatic EBV-positive nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). BRG01 is a Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell therapy targetting on the specific protein of EBV, which is expressed on the EBV associated cancer cells. This study adopts the traditional "3+3" dose escalation design. Approximately12~18 EBV+ NPC subjects will be enrolled to evaluate the safety of BRG01. An internal safety review team (SRT) will review the safety data and make recommendations on further study conduct and progression to subsequential cohorts. Subjects will be enrolled into 3 cohorts of different doses, designated as cohort A, B and C.Cohort A: 3.0x10^6 CAR-T cells/kg,3 subjects, Cohort B: 9.0x10^6 CAR-T cells/kg,3 subjects, and Cohort C:1.5x10^7 CAR-T cells /kg, 6 subjects, respectively. Subjects in each cohort will follow the same treatment schedule and procedural requirements.

NCT ID: NCT05864911 Completed - Obesity Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety of the Gastric Bypass Stent System on Body Weight and Metabolic Parameters in Obese Patients

Start date: March 11, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this study, the investigators use a novel endoscopic duodenal-jejunal bypass liner-the Gastric Bypass Stent System (Hangzhou Tangji Medical Technology Co., Ltd., China) for the treatment of obesity. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of this new device on weight loss and obesity-associated metabolic parameters.

Start date: May 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare the similarity of major pharmacokinetic parameters after a single intravenous administration of JT1801 and NESP® in chinese healthy male volunteers. And to evaluate the safety, immunogenicity and pharmacodynamic characteristics of JT1801 and NESP® in chinese healthy male volunteers

NCT ID: NCT05863299 Completed - Critical Illness Clinical Trials

A Prospective Longitudinal Mixed Study on the Change Track of Sleep Quality in Critically Ill Children

Start date: November 17, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This research adopts the uniform parallel hybrid research design; The quantitative data and qualitative data were collected at the same time, and then the quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed respectively. Finally, the two data sets were combined. Comprehensive interpretation of the study issues through complementarity and mutual validation of quantitative and qualitative data.

NCT ID: NCT05861414 Completed - Depressive Symptoms Clinical Trials

Intervention Effect of Emotional Working Memory Training on University Students With Depressive Symptom

Start date: October 11, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Objective: To investigate the effects of emotional working memory training (EWM-T) on depressive symptoms and rumination among university students. Methods: The experimental group comprised 25 participants who underwent 21 days of emotional working memory training, which involved viewing a continuous stream of negative emotional face content on a grid and remembering the faces and locations presented on the grid. The control group consisted of 25 participants. The Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II), the Chinese version of the Character-Digital Breadth Test, and the Ruminative Responses Scale (RRS) were used as the pre- and post-test indicators.
