To Investigate Effects of Amway Bundle Combination of Products on Osteoarthritis & Sarcopenia

The goal of this interventional study is to evaluate the effects of bundle combination of Amway All-plant protein booster with Nutrilite Lifestyle guideline and/or EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) device on Osteoarthritis & Sarcopenia in the middle-aged and elderly (50-70 years old) people. 240 eligible participants will be randomly assigned to 4 equal size study groups (ideally 52 for each group will complete the study) in the two study centers in Shanghai, three site visits will be made during the 6 months of study after screening test. All clinical data will be measured /captured on paper CRF(Case Report Form) and then recorded into CTMS(Clinical Trial Data Management System) for analysis and reporting. It's essential that participants should practice with the assigned guideline and device besides taking the products per day. Researchers will compare the four groups to see if there is significant improvement of Amway study products with bundle combination of Nutrilite Lifestyle guideline and/or EMS on Osteoarthritis & Sarcopenia in the participants.

Efficacy of Electroacupuncture in NMOSD Patients With Pain: Study Protocol

Abstract Background Neuropathic pain is a common complication in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), which seriously affects the quality of life of NMOSD patients, with no satisfactory treatment. Through the previous literature study and clinical observation, we found that acupuncture has good curative effect in the treatment of pain, especially electric acupuncture, but thestudies on acupuncture intervention in pain of NMOSD are still scare. Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture on NMOSD patients with pain. Materials and Methods In this exploratory randomized controlled study, NMOSD patients with pain were recruited from March 21, 2022 to February 21, 2023. Patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly assigned to the electroacupuncture group (experimental group) and the sham electroacupuncture group (control group) by simple random method (envelope method) according to the inclusion order. Totally, there are 20 patients enrolled. The experimental group received electroacupuncture therapy and the control group received sham electroacupuncture therapy. A total of 8 sessions were given twice a week for 30 minutes each. On the baseline, demographic information, medication history, specimens of routine blood, blood biochemistry, liver function, IL - 6, TNF-α were collected, the brain, cervical and thoracic MRI were perfected and collected, patients filled in the SF - MPQ, NRS, SF - 36, SAS, SDS, EDSS. After the treatment, specimens of routine blood, blood biochemistry, liver function, IL - 6, TNF-α were collected again, patients filled in the SF - MPQ, NRS, SF - 36, SAS, SD, EDSS. The main outcome indicators were SF-MPQ, and the secondary outcome indicators were EDSS, NRS, SAS, SDS, SF-36, IL-6, and TNF-α. Conclusion This is the first exploratory randomized controlled study to evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture on pain in patients with NMOSD. The study will provide clincial evidence of the practice of electroacupuncture on NMOSD with pain. Key Words neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders; pain; electroacupuncture

The effects of vitD3 supplements on the efficacy of ustekinumab in Chinese CD patients were retrospectively analyzed. Methods: Patients with moderate to severe CD were recorded. These patients were initially treated with UST. VitD3 supplementation was defined as 400IU/d vitD3 supplementation during the first infusion of UST and continued throughout the follow-up period. Analysis of Radiographic and Kinematic Features in FAI Patients

The goal of this observational study is to describe the radiographic and kinematic features in patients with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAI). The main questions it aims to answer are: - Is structural knee abnormalities associated with knee pain symptoms in FAI patients? - Does FAI patients with knee pain demonstrate unique kinematic characteristics? Participants will receive routine preoperative radiographic examinations, which include ipsilateral knee MRI for the purpose of femoral version measurement. Participants will also receive markerless motion capture analysis. The goal of this clinical trial is to test in Chinese Subjects with Metastatic or Recurrent Solid Malignancies. The main questions it aims to answer are: - How is the PK of tisotumab vedotin? - How is the immunogenicity of tisotumab vedotin? - How is the safety and tolerability of tisotumab vedotin? - How is the clinical efficacy of tisotumab vedotin? Participants will receive 2.0 mg/kg tisotumab vedotin (up to a maximum of 200 mg in subjects ≥ 100 kg) as a 30-minute IV infusion 1Q3W with the aim to characterize the PK profiles and to evaluate immunogenicity, safety, and tolerability of tisotumab vedotin in the Chinese population. Subjects will receive study treatment until disease progression or any other discontinuation criteria are met, whichever occurs first. Subjects will undergo an end of treatment (EOT) visit 30 days (± 5 days) after the last dose of study treatment or within 7 days after treatment discontinuation has been decided, whichever occurs later.

Dynamic Change of Doppler-based Renal Resistive Index in Predicting Renal Recovery

The goal of this observational study is to observe the correlation between dynamic changes in the Doppler-based renal resistive index (RI) and the occurrence of persistent acute kidney injury (AKI) in critically ill patients. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Are dynamic changes of RI within 24 or 48 hours associated with the prognosis of AKI (NO AKI, transient AKI, persistent AKI)? - what are the influencing factors of changes in RI? Participants will measure values of RI in patients at admission (0 hour), after 24 hours and after 48 hours, respectively, and collect characters such as age, sex, vital signs, Apache II, diagnosis, renal function, applied drugs, fluid, 72-hour renal function and renal replacement, followed renal replacement and the mortality rate at 28 days.
