NCT ID: NCT04666467 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Functional Mitral Regurgitation

Early Feasibility Study of the PLAR Implant and Delivery System to Treat Functional Mitral Regurgitation ( EXPLORE FMR )

EXPLORE FMR
Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

An early feasibility study to evaluate the safety and feasibility of the PLAR Implant and Delivery System to treat severe functional mitral regurgitation and to gather preliminary data on its performance thereby providing guidance for future clinical development. The study is a single-arm registry with the last follow-up visit at 5 years post-intervention. The study will enroll up to 10 patients at up to 4 centers in North America.

NCT ID: NCT04674098 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Hospital Acquired Condition

The Effect of Real Time Analytics on Adverse Events Among Hospitalized Patients

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study will examine the effect of providing nurses with continuous, remote, real-time monitoring of their patient's vital signs and MEWS scores using the BAS on the occurrence of adverse events, admissions to the ICU, hospital length of stay and activation of the rapid response team among patients on non-intensive care hospital units. A longitudinal study will measure the outcome variables among an estimated 60 patients per month during 6 month intervals when the BAS is not and is available to the nursing staff.

NCT ID: NCT04722965 Withdrawn - Perianal Fistula Clinical Trials

Treatment of Lower Transsphincteric Perianal Fistula: Fistulotomy With Marsupialization vs Open Wound

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will compare the results of marsupialization versus open wound after fistulotomy in low transsphincteric perianal fistulas.

NCT ID: NCT04754815 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Study of Pembrolizumab With Single Agent Chemotherapy in Elderly Patients With Advanced NSCLC

HFHS 21-01
Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This Phase II trial is to see how well single agent chemotherapy and pembrolizumab work elderly patients (≥ 75 years) with advanced non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Pembrolizumab stimulates your immune system to help fight lung cancer. This treatment approach may be better tolerated in elderly patients.

NCT ID: NCT04762849 Withdrawn - Obesity Clinical Trials

A Banded One Anastomosis Gastric Bypass With Use Shape-memory Ring Versus Non-banded One Anastomosis Gastric Bypass

MEMORING
Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Background and study aims: Currently, the gastric bypass is increasingly performed in the version of the mini gastric bypass (MGB). Another name for the procedure: one anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB). Insufficient weight loss after bariatric surgery or weight gain after surgery is a common big problem in weight loss surgery. The use of unregulated and uncontrolled bands and rings is not always effective according to previous studies. This study compares the loss of weight after the laparoscopic banded one anastomosis gastric bypass with the use of a shape-memory ring and standard laparoscopic one anastomosis gastric bypass. Methods: Adult participants (n=100) are randomly allocated to one of two groups: Experimental surgical bariatric procedure in the first (A) group: patients (n=50) will undergo the laparoscopic banded one anastomosis gastric bypass with use of a shape-memory ring (MGB/OAGB+SMR group); Active comparator surgical bariatric procedure in the second (B) group: patients (n=50) will undergo the laparoscopic one anastomosis gastric bypass (MGB/OAGB group) without band: standard surgery. All patients are then followed up 12, 24, 36 months after surgery where record the changing body mass index.

NCT ID: NCT04762901 Withdrawn - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

LCI-BRE-MTN-NIR-001:Ph I Study of Niraparib in Combo With Standard Chemo in Metastatic Trip Neg Breast Cancer

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, two-stage, multi-arm Phase 1 study designed to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of combining niraparib with four standard chemotherapy regimens used to treat TNBC.

NCT ID: NCT04782700 Withdrawn - Covid19 Clinical Trials

P-Co-Li (Pulmonary Covid-19 Study)

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to determine whether the use of steroids versus watchful waiting improves pulmonary function tests in patients with history of COVID 19 infection who have residual hypoxemia and lung infiltrates. This is a non-inferiority trial which tests whether the outcomes after watchful waiting are not worst than after the use of steroids, with a margin of acceptable inferiority. The study team will limit inclusion to patients who have PCR- confirmed COVID19 at least in 10-weeks prior to enrollment, persistent opacities on chest imaging, and hypoxemia either at rest or during ambulation.

NCT ID: NCT04795596 Withdrawn - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Secondary Cytoreductive Surgery in Platinum-resistant Recurrent Ovarian Cancers

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This novel study was specifically designed for platinum resistant recurrent ovarian cancers and aimed to compare cases who received secondary cytoreductive surgery for isolated recurrence and chemotherapy versus chemotherapy alone. This comparison will conduct the intraoperative events, postoperative morbidity and mortality, pathological outcomes and long-term oncological outcomes as regarding progression free survival and overall survival rates.
