The survey will assess the knowledge of HCPs prescribing Piqray in relation to the management of hyperglycemia in patients treated with Piqray. Targeted Axillary Dissection After Neo-adjuvant Chemotherapy

Currently most breast cancer patients with confirmed axillary lymph node metastasis (cN1) at diagnosis are candidates for neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). The increased utilization of NAC can be attributed to practical clinical advantages. The increasing use of NAC has, however, introduced questions regarding appropriate loco-regional management, including the optimal surgical approach to the axillary lymph nodes. According to current guidelines, patients presenting with cN1 disease and treated with NAC, still undergo axillary lymph node dissection (ALND). In forty percent of these patients, however, the investigators see a nodal complete pathological response (ypN0). In certain subgroups, triple negative breast cancer and Her2 amplified breast cancer, this percentage is even higher. The investigators would like to lessen surgical morbidity by performing a targeted axillary dissection. The investigators place a clip in the biopsy-proven lymph node metastasis at diagnosis. After NAC, the investigators perform a dual agent sentinel node procedure and remove the clipped node during the same surgery. When these lymph nodes are microscopically tumor-free, the investigators can abolish an ALND. Targeted axillary dissection after NAC for cN1 disease seems to have acceptable false negative rates in previous trials. The investigators would like to further define patients where an ALND can be safely omitted.

This study is about TAK-500, given either alone or with pembrolizumab, in adults with select locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The aims of the study are: - to assess the safety profile of TAK-500 when given alone and when given with pembrolizumab. - to assess the anti-tumor effects of TAK-500, when given alone and when given with pembrolizumab, in adults with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Participants may receive TAK-500 for up to 1 year. Participants may continue with their treatment if they have continuing benefit and if this is approved by their study doctor. Participants who are receiving TAK-500 either alone or with pembrolizumab will continue with their treatment until their disease progresses or until they or their study doctor decide they should stop this treatment.

Clinical Trial Assessing the Safety of Neoadjuvant Palbociclib in Combination With Endocrine Therapy

Patients with estrogen receptor positive (ER+) and/or progesterone receptor positive (PR+) breast cancer do not achieve good responses with pre-operative chemotherapy. The sensitivity of breast cancer to chemotherapy is often determined by the underlying gene expression pattern and the molecular subtype of the tumor. In addition, not all patients tolerate chemotherapy well. Pre-operative endocrine therapy has emerged as an effective strategy to improve outcomes in patients with early-stage hormone receptor positive breast cancer. This study will assess the role of neo-adjuvant palbociclib (CDK 4/6 inhibitor) in combination with letrozole (aromatase inhibitor) +/-Goserelin (GnRH analogue) to improve overall response and surgical feasibility in post and pre-menopausal hormone receptor positive and Her-2 negative subjects with stage IIA-IIIC breast cancer.

Hepatitis C Screening Paired With Mammography

In France, a breast cancer screening is organized since 2004 for women aged 50-74. On the other hand, even though the seroprevalence of hepatitis C in the general French population is less than 1%, it is estimated that more than 75,000 people live with the virus without knowing it. To answer the WHO objective of eliminating hepatitis C by 2030 and in France by 2025, the investigators need to organize targeted screening. Women aged more than 50 years old, by their possible antecedents in life, are an exposed population. The investigators propose to pair the already organized breast cancer screening with a hepatitis-screening test by rapid diagnostic orientation test (TROD) and evaluate the adherence of women in this paired screening. For women with positive TROD, a specialized care will be organized.

Exercise as Medicine for People With Cancer Sweden

Regular exercise has been shown to have beneficial health effects in cancer survivors, including improving quality of life and other important health outcomes. However, providing people with cancer with easily accessible, high-quality exercise support and programs is a challenge. Therefore, there is a need to develop easily accessible exercise programs that draw upon the current evidence. Supervised, distance-based exercise programs have the benefit of reaching out to many people while providing the support of an exercise professional. The aim of the EX-MED Cancer Sweden trial is to examine the effectiveness of a supervised, distance-based exercise program, in people previously treated for breast, prostate, or colorectal cancer, on health-related quality of life (HRQoL), as well as other physiological and patient-reported health outcomes. Participants will be randomized to a 3-month supervised, distance-based exercise program or to a usual care control group. Testing timepoints are baseline, 3 months (end of intervention) and 6 months (3 month followup). At these timepoints, patients will be asked to fill in online questionaires, and and undergo physical tests. A selection of the particpants and personal trainers involved in the intervention will also be invited to participate in focus group discussion or interviews about the experiences of being involved in the EX-MED Cancer Sweden program.

Adjuvant Metronomic Capecitabine Plus Endocrine Therapy for HR+/HER2- Primary Breast Cancer

Breast cancer (BC) is one of most prevalent malignant tumors in the world. According to the 2020 edition of the global cancer statistics report, the incidence rate of BC has overtaken lung cancer to become the most commonly diagnosed cancer. In the past three decades, survival of patients with primary BC have been notably improved, mainly due to early detection of the disease and advances in adjuvant treatments such as endocrine therapy, chemotherapy, and anti-HER2 therapy. Patients with HR-positive and HER2-negative primary BC account for approximately 70% of all cases of early breast cancer. Endocrine therapy is the core treatment for this subtype of BC. Tamoxifen, aromatase inhibitor or their sequential administration can reduce the recurrence and mortality of this BC subtype. The results of TEXT/SOFT study showed that, compared with the traditional 5-year tamoxifen treatment, tamoxifen + OFS or aromatase inhibitor + OFS can further improve the survival of HR+/HER2- breast cancer patients. However, for premenopausal BC patients with HR+/HER2-, only 82.5% (tamoxifen plus OFS) and 85.7% (aromatase inhibitor plus OFS) of 5-year DFS were achieved. For postmenopausal BC patients, the 5-year DFS was only about 84% with aromatase inhibitors. Therefore, the survival of HR+/ HER2- BC patients needs to be further improved. Metronomic chemotherapy refers to the use of the minimum effective dose of chemotherapy drugs for long-term, uninterrupted administration to achieve anti-tumor effect. Metronomic chemotherapy has gradually been verified in clinical practice in the past 20 years. In 2020, SYSUCC-001 study has confirmed that capecitabine (650 mg/ m2 bid, for 1 years) can reduce the risk of 5-year DFS events by 36% in TNBC patients in addition to standard treatment. Besides, POTENT study has confirmed that the combination of endocrine therapy and S-1 (for one year) can further reduce the risk of iDFS by 37% in HR+/HER2- BC patients who have completed the standard treatment. Compared with capecitabine, S-1 has no indication for BC and it is not in the recommendation for BC treatment in the guidelines. Therefore, the investigators conduct this study to explore whether adjuvant Capecitabine metronomic chemotherapy for one year can further improve the survival of BC patients with HR+/ HER2- in addition to standard treatment.
