Filter by:In this single arm, open label, phase 2 trial, operable patients with stage II-III HR+/HER2+ breast cancer will be enrolled and receive two cycles of pyrotinib combined with trastuzumab, dalpiciclib and letrozole. Imaging evaluation was performed two weeks later, and patients who achieved CR or PR were continued with the original regimen for 4 cycles. Subjects who did not achieve PR switched to regimen and received 4 cycles of pyrotinib combined with trastuzumab plus chemotherapy. This study aims to assessed the biological effects and safety of pyrotinib combined with trastuzumab, dalpiciclib and letrozole for HR+/HER2+ breast cancer in the neoadjuvant setting.
Neoadjuvant Endocrine Therapy for pre- and postmenopausal women with T4 Nany or TanyN2-3 estrogen receptor (ER) -positive, progrsteron receptor (PR) -positive and HER2 negative breast cancer. Real Clinical Practice in Russia.
The goal of this clinical trial is to compare, for the second reading of screening mammograms, the standard of care with an AI assisted scenario. The main questions it aims to answer are: - will the experimental pathway be non-inferior to the standard pathway? - will the experimental pathway be economically superior to the standard pathway? Participants will receive screening mammograms, as part of the breast cancer screening program. Researchers will compare the interpretation made by the second reader in the standard pathway with the AI assisted interpretation made by a different reader in the experimental pathway.
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are lipid bilayer-delimited particles, naturally released from cells and mediators of intercellular cross-talk. In breast cancer (BC), EVs seem to be involved in the tumor microenvironment's shaping, in cancer cells invasion and in the set-up of metastasis. Clinical studies have provided initial evidence that these vesicles may have a prognostic and predictive value in breast cancer. Considering their ubiquitous presence in body fluids and their minimally invasive assessment through blood sampling, EVs could have a potential as liquid biopsy-derived biomarkers. Their quantification though is a complex task requiring complicated and time-consuming pre-analytical procedures of EVs isolation. This protocol want to develop a new method for the detection of tumor-derived-EVs associated proteins, based on the use of Single Molecule Array (SiMoA), a digital ELISA technology able to detect and quantify extremely low concentrations of target proteins or particles. The aim of this study is to evaluate how this new technology can allow the quantification of EVs plasma levels in patients affected by BC, providing useful diagnostic and prognostic information.
The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to compare diagnostic results of secondary breast cancer surveillance using breast ultrasound abbreviated MRI and full protocol MRI.
The standard method for localizing non-palpable breast cancer is currently preoperative wire-guided localization, its positive margin rate still remains around 20-50%. This study aims to compare the accuracy and efficacy of wire vs. combined breast tissue markers in localizing non-palpable breast cancer.
The aim of the study is to find out whether supervised physical exercise during cancer drug treatment improves the effectiveness of the treatment in metastasized breast, kidney, ovarian and prostate cancer compared to unsupervised exercise. In addition, the investigators are investigating whether the use of atorvastatin combined with guided group exercise training would further improve the response to cancer treatment.
This is an ambispective, single-center study to evaluate the survival outcomes, adverse events and predictive biomarkers for CDK4/6 inhibitors in patients with hormone receptor-positive advanced breast cancer.
The purpose of this study is to test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug combination (trastuzumab deruxtecan and durvalumab) to learn whether the intervention works in treating Human Epidermal growth factor Receptor-2 (HER2)-expressing inflammatory breast cancer. The names of the study drugs involved in this study are: - Trastuzumab deruxtecan - Durvalumab
This research is a continuation of a usability study with the MARVIN chatbot. The investigators aim to adapt the MARVIN chatbot to open it to other health domains (e.g. breast cancer) and populations (e.g. pharmacists). Therefore, this protocol constitutes a master research protocol that will englobe different research projects with individual chatbots. The investigators adopt an adaptive platform trial design, which will allow flexibility in handling multiple interventions adapted to different populations while retaining the characteristics of a platform trial design allowing early withdrawal of ineffective trial arms based on interim data (implementation outcomes) and introduction of new trial arms.
