Choices About Genetic Testing And Learning Your Risk With Smart Technology

CATALYST
Start date: October 26, 2023
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this observational study is to increase genetic education and genetic testing for hereditary cancer risk among cancer survivors. The study objectives are to: 1. Finalize the development and optimize usability of the CATALYST digital intervention (i.e., also known as relational assistant (RA)) 2. Evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of a streamlined cancer genomic care delivery model in cancer survivors. Participants will be randomized to one of two study arms: the RA intervention vs. enhanced usual care (EUC) 3. Assess GC and GT uptake and conduct a process evaluation to measure barriers/facilitators to GC, GT and use of the CATALYST intervention and engagement with the RA.

NCT ID: NCT06184074 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Effect of Aromatase Inhibitors on Ultrasonographic Measurements and Static and Dynamic Balance Scores in Breast Cancer

Start date: February 1, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To evaluate the effects of aromatase inhibitors on lower extremity ultrasonographic measurements, static and dynamic balance scores in breast cancer patients using aromatase inhibitors

NCT ID: NCT06182306 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Prospective Evaluation of AI R&D Tool for Patient Stratification - MoA Evaluation in Triple Negative Breast Cancer (PEAR-MET)

PEAR-MET
Start date: April 30, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pear Bio has developed an organ-on-a-chip device together with a computer vision pipeline through which the response of an individual patient's tumor to different systemic therapy regimens can be tested simultaneously ex vivo. This study will recruit patients with advanced or metastatic triple negative breast cancer who are due to start a clinically-indicated new line of therapy. The oncologist will be blinded to the response on the Pear Bio tool (the assay will be run in parallel with the patient's treatment). The primary objective of this study is to establish the sensitivity and specificity of Pear Bio's test against patient outcomes (response, progression-free survival, overall survival)

NCT ID: NCT06178159 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

DV in Combination With Pertuzumab With or Without Toripalimab Neoadjuvant Therapy With HER2-positive Breast Cancer

Start date: November 28, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Disitamab Vedotin in combination with Pertuzumab with or without Toripalimab neoadjuvant therapy in patients with HER2-positive breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06176261 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

DATO-BASE: DATOpotamab-deruxtecan for Breast Cancer Brain metAstaSEs

Start date: December 26, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to test the safety and effectiveness of the study drug datopotamab deruxtecan in participants with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to the brain. The name of the study drug used in this research study is: Datopotamab deruxtecan (a type of antibody-drug conjugate)

NCT ID: NCT06174363 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Analgesic Efficacy of Maxigesic in Breast Cancer Surgery

Start date: April 3, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The present study aims to find a perioperative analgesic method that provides sufficient analgesia while reducing immune compromise in cancer surgery. This study is to investigate the analgesic effect and safety of Maxigesic inj. (a combination of acetaminophen 1000 mg and ibuprofen 300 mg), which is added to opioid-based IV-PCA in patients undergoing breast cancer surgery.

NCT ID: NCT06171607 Recruiting - Breast Carcinoma Clinical Trials

Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound Medical Imaging for Identifying Breast Masses

Start date: November 5, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial investigates the role of contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in identifying cystic breast masses as benign or malignant. Ultrasound is a diagnostic imaging test that uses sound waves to make pictures of the body without using radiation (x-rays). Ultrasounds are widely used to diagnose many diseases in the body. This trial may help researchers learn if using CEUS will help in determining whether or not an ultrasound guided biopsy is necessary.

NCT ID: NCT06171360 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of the Gut Microbiome in Hormone Receptor-positive HER2-negative Breast Cancer Treated With CDK4/6 Inhibitors

CICLIBIOME
Start date: November 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Ciclibiome is a prospective study including BC patients starting treatment with a CDK4/6 inhibitor (in the metastatic and in the adjuvant setting). This study will focus on the interplay between the gut microbiome (its composition and evolution during treatment), circulating immune, metabolic and cytokine biomarkers (before and during treatment), and response outcomes to the CDK4/6 inhibitor. The main aim of the study is to highlight the existence of a microbial, immune and/or metabolic biomarker of response to CDK4/6 inhibition in BC, assessable by a stool or blood sample examination. Ultimately, this will allow to study new potential combination partners for CDK4/6 inhibitors in escalation trials for poor prognosis patients.

NCT ID: NCT06169371 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Abemaciclib Dose Escalation to Maintain Intensity (ADE-MI)

BRE-09
Start date: December 28, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This is a post-marketing single arm, phase IV trial in which patients with high-risk early-stage HR+HER2- breast cancer will receive adjuvant abemaciclib in combination with endocrine therapy (ET) After study intervention, participants will remain on combination abemaciclib + ET at the discretion of their treating providers

NCT ID: NCT06169072 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Sentinel Lymph Node Localisation With an Ultra-low Dose of Magtrace in Breast Cancer Patients

MagSnow2
Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The overall aim is to demonstrate that the use of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIO) as a tracer in an ultra-low dose (0.1 ml) is non-inferior for sentinel lymph node (SLN) detection in patients with breast cancer compared to the dual technique using Tc99m +/- blue dye, and to evaluate MRI breast artefacts and skin staining over time.
