NCT ID: NCT03572582 Completed - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Hepatocellular

Transarterial Chemoembolization in Combination With Nivolumab Performed for Intermediate Stage Hepatocellular Carcinoma

IMMUTACE
Start date: June 14, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The IMMUTACE study evaluates the safety and the efficacy of the anti-programmed-death-1 antibody (anti-PD-1) nivolumab in combination with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) in patients with multinodular, intermediate stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) as first line therapy.

NCT ID: NCT03563274 Terminated - Clinical trials for Liver, Cancer of, Non-Resectable

QuiremSpheres Observational Study

Hope166
Start date: June 21, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The main purpose of this study is to further assess treatment efficacy and safety after using QuiremSpheres® for the treatment of patients with unresectable primary liver cancer or unresectable liver metastases suitable for SIRT and allocated to this treatment by a multidisciplinary tumor board.

NCT ID: NCT03562234 Recruiting - Obesity Clinical Trials

The CLiFF Study: Change in Liver Function and Fat in Pre-operative Chemotherapy for Colorectal Liver Metastases

CLiFF
Start date: October 22, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The CLiFF Study will assess changes in liver function and liver fat in patients with colorectal liver metastases (CLM) undergoing pre-operative chemotherapy before liver resection. There will be no change to the standard treatment for CLM. The change in liver fat will be assessed using novel magnetic resonance techniques and the change in liver function will be measured using a newly-developed fully-licensed breath test to give the most accurate measure of liver function possible. Understanding if these changes are related or reversible will help to understand the relationship between obesity and cancer. This is an important issue, as obesity is now the second most common cause of cancer worldwide.

NCT ID: NCT03551951 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Tumor Cell and DNA Detection in the Blood, Urine, and Bone Marrow

Start date: July 1, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Patients with resectable solid primary cancers and even limited number of metastases are potentially curable. However, most patients develop recurrences despite surgery. Also, early detection of lung cancer with low dose CT screening may cure patients at an early stage. Circulating and disseminated tumor cell (CTC/DTC) and circulating cell-free (cf) DNA isolation from the blood, urine and bone marrow will increase understanding of cancer spread and advance knowledge to develop individualized therapies and improve screening.

NCT ID: NCT03533582 Active, not recruiting - Hepatoblastoma Clinical Trials

Cisplatin and Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Children and Young Adults With Hepatoblastoma or Liver Cancer After Surgery

Start date: May 24, 2018
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This partially randomized phase II/III trial studies how well, in combination with surgery, cisplatin and combination chemotherapy works in treating children and young adults with hepatoblastoma or hepatocellular carcinoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, doxorubicin, fluorouracil, vincristine sulfate, carboplatin, etoposide, irinotecan, sorafenib, gemcitabine and oxaliplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving combination chemotherapy may kill more tumor cells than one type of chemotherapy alone.

NCT ID: NCT03518632 Completed - Liver Metastases Clinical Trials

Preoperative Physical Activity Intervention in Patients Before Planned Liver Resection for Cancer (APACHE)

APACHE
Start date: March 27, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to assess the impact of preoperative physical activity on physical capacities of patients undergoing liver resection for primary or secondary liver cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03516695 Terminated - Liver Cancer Clinical Trials

RadioEmbolization for the ADvancement of Y90 Glass Microspheres Registry

READ90Y
Start date: February 23, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is a non-interventional, observational, prospective, and global participant data registry. The study will collect effectiveness and safety data from approximately 1000 participants with liver cancers treated with TheraSphere® in a real-life setting from multiple centers globally. The absorbed dose to tumor and normal tissue will be calculated using the Simplicit90Y™ software in the subgroup of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) participants.

NCT ID: NCT03515252 Completed - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Study of Autologous Immune Killer Cells in Patients With Late Stage Hepatocellular Carcinoma or Lung Cancer

Start date: April 26, 2005
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase I clinical study. Blood is drawn from the patient and brought to our laboratory for isolation of immune cells. These immune cells are then proliferated over a two week period and used to produce our patented product IKC (Immune Killer Cells). The IKC will then infused back into the patient to treat the cancer. Each patient will receive a total of six infusions.

NCT ID: NCT03500757 Enrolling by invitation - Clinical trials for Percutaneous Tumor Ablation

Intra-procedural 360-degree Display for Performing Percutaneous Liver Tumor Ablation

Start date: April 29, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Medical images used to guide treatment of tumor(s) are presently displayed on flat-panel monitors (like screens used with computers). This protocol will evaluate, using a new headset to view the images in true 3D ("360 degrees"), while using standard flat panel monitors as usual (in accordance with standard of care). The headset is combined with a mini-global positioning system (GPS)-like system to help navigate to treat tumor(s). This evaluation is to show that the headset has potential to provide guidance and navigation information that can improve the treatment of tumor(s) with heat.

NCT ID: NCT03500380 Active, not recruiting - Breast Neoplasms Clinical Trials

A Study of RC48-ADC Administered Intravenously to Patients With HER2-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer With or Without Liver Metastases

Start date: April 24, 2018
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, open, parallel-controlled, multicenter, phase II/III, seamless design clinical trial to compare the efficacy and safety of RC48-ADC with capecitabine + lapatinib in locally advanced or metastatic human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) positive breast cancer and HER2-positive advanced breast cancer with liver metastasis.
