The rapid progress of multiple antiemetic regimens ensures that patients can receive full dose chemotherapy, however, there are still a large number of unmet clinical needs in patient evaluation and treatment. Due to the fact that patients with liver, gallbladder, and pancreatic diseases undergoing surgery are still in the stage of nausea and vomiting, the actual incidence of delayed nausea and vomiting may be underestimated. The long-term effective control of nausea and vomiting by Nitopitan Palonosetron capsules may improve the quality of life of patients during and after treatment, and ultimately improve clinical outcomes

A Clinical Study on Evaluating Intravenous Administration of IDOV-SAFE

Subjects were inoperable Chinese patients with histologically or cytologically confirmed advanced malignant solid tumors (mainly focusing on MSS type colorectal cancer) who had failed standard systemic therapy. In the first stage, each subject was given three doses on day 1, day 3 and day 5, and was divided into 4 dose groups, including 1 subject in the first dose group and 3-6 subjects in each of the last three dose groups. The second stage was the dose extension stage, with 2 dose groups, at least 10 subjects were enrolled in the selected group, and the administration method was the same as that of the first stage. There were about 20-60 cases in the two stages.

Narrative Medicine for Improving Well-Being in Patients With Gastrointestinal Cancers

This clinical trial assesses whether narrative medicine methods may improve the sense of well-being among gastrointestinal (GI) (digestive system) cancer patients. Narrative medicine is a clinical approach where providers can use a patient's own narrative (perspective) of their illness to promote healing and resilience. By applying narrative medicine's main tool, close reading, to clinical practice, clinicians learn to listen and attend to patients more deeply. This allows for freer communication and the creation of a healthcare encounter that centers on the psychological and emotional well being of the patient in addition to their medical conditions. Narrative medicine can include close reading, creative or reflective writing, and discussion. These methods may help patients with GI cancer to reflect on their life stories, both inside and outside of their illness experience, and help them gather skills to optimize their well-being.

Comparison of Outcomes of Multiple Platforms for Assisted Robotic - Gastrectomy

The object of this exploratory clinical trial is to evaluate intra and post-operative complications in a population that underwent Robotic Gastrectomy, with multiple platforms: - DaVinci; - Hugo; - Versius. This study is divided into two phases: in the first phase, gastrectomy will be performed using both the new platforms (Hugo and Versius) and the standard platform (Da Vinci), to evaluate the feasibility of the surgical procedure. In the second phase, the three platforms will be compared to evaluate any differences in the learning curve for an upper-GI surgeon, expert in laparoscopic surgery but not with robotic one. The questions it aims to answer are: - Are differences (intra-operative, post-operative, oncological, functional, technical, and economic) among the three different platforms observable? - Are there any differences between the three platforms related to the learning curve for surgeons? Participants will be enrolled, after obtaining informed consent, in one of the following cohorts: 1. surgery with the daVinci platform; 2. surgery with the Hugo platform; 3. surgery with the Versius platform.
